Excellent location when travelling from north to south and vice versa. Good WiFi and plenty of parking. Very good breakfast and good value for money. All staff were friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Nice and quiet for a good nights sleep.

There are only three negatives:- 1) only one person was on duty in the evening trying to do reception, bar and restaurant - the hotel was pretty full so a lot had to wait a long time to be served . It was also very unfair on the poor lady who had to do everything . 2) The entrecôte steak was abysmal - very fatty and chewy and expensive 3) There were a lot of dogs and when I say a lot I mean a lot - we counted at least 12 all at once. This is not good for people who have allergies or are nervous of dogs. Several dogs were uncomfortable with each other which wasn’t a nice experience. I also wonder about hygiene in the rooms, although ours was very clean.

The location is great with a short walk into a beautiful town. Comfortable beds and a lovely breakfast. Staff work very hard and are very accommodating.

On the ground floor you can not leave the windows open overnight as there are no security locks attached. We don’t like air conditioning so would like to sleep in a secure room with the window ajar if possible? You have to book early to get a room on the top floor.

Staff we're v welcoming+helpful. I had several issues on leaving, forgot several things, and they dealt with it all. Refused a tip too! Very nice to have a restaurant there as well, to eat inside and out on terrace. For drinks @lunchtime - Burgundies galore, and good coffee - and dinner in the evenings. We came back for the delicious burgers!!!!

Good location and plenty of parking on site. Warm welcome at reception and very good breakfast. Staff very helpful.

The lighting in the bedroom is very poor and must be terrible for anyone with sight problems. The bedrooms have recently been refurbished but not by someone who would use the facility. Tiny bedside table and no shelving in the bathroom. The evening meal was poor quality.

The reception, quality of room and the breakfast were all as we expected having stayed here before. Adequate parking is always a bonus especially at a hotel near a town centre.

The lack of any real choice for the restaurant main meal. We did eat here earlier this year and had the most meagre piece of dried chicken breast. There doesn't seem to be a chef just someone who can do some short-order cooking. Didn't eat in.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. A handy location just off the autoroute. The town was very pleasant. The restaurant was closed but we were directed to a good bistro in walking distance. A convenient drop over to the channel port.

Location is good with quite a lot of parking available. Easy to get to from the autoroute and within easy walking distance of the town centre.

The very limited choice of evening meal which was provided by way of a very small portion. The plastic mattress protector made the sleeping experience rather unpleasant. The electricity to the room went off during the night with neither light or power available.

The room was quite small but had most of what you need, especially air conditioning in the heat. We used the restaurant and enjoyed the interesting and good value meal. There was a warm welcome from the staff. There is plenty of parking and it was very quiet at night. The included breakfast had a very good choice. I would stay here again.

I would have liked a kettle in the room especially as they had run out of decaff coffee but they did make me a jug of water. The room was a little on the small side and the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze but everything worked.

Location to the Eurotunnel, reasonable price. Local amenities / restaurants. Efficient check in and an out. WiFi excellent and tv ok.

Wasn’t spotlessly clean, large amount of dust on lamp above the mirror and poor paintwork finish around the headboard.

Comfortable and pleasant. Good location - a short 10 minute walk to the town centre.

Disappointed with the need to pay tax on departure. Addressing that issue delayed our departure as i had thought all costs had been covered when we checked in the evening before - had this been made clear when checking in we would have paid there and then.
