Comfortable, tranquil,homely and yet very similar to a boutique hotel but a lot cheaper. Amazing hosts and staff are just very friendly, helpful and genuinely want to make you happy and go out of their way to do that. Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful, got extra items upon requests . Room is really beautiful and slept like a baby. Decor of the whole place just done with a lot of passion and very tastefully finished. Beautiful lounge area and seats in front overlooking the sea , very calming indeed to relax and enjoy and rejuvenate.

Could do with more vegetables and other alternatives for non meat eaters, but this is just a minor thing, did not put me off coming back again.

Room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I chose not to have breakfast as I don't eat it and I was on for an early start (Selina was more than accommodating and asked if there was anything else she could offer but I politely declined). overall experience was seamless and will definitely use again if available on my next visit 100% .

nothing to note of my dislikes as overall experience was excellent. I only stayed for one night but felt comfortable and would recommend to colleagues when staying in Eastbourne again.

The property was absolutely perfect for our stay, located on the seafront, with fantastic views and plenty of restaurants and cafes. The guesthouse was beautifully decorated, modern, comfortable and so clean. The breakfasts were amazing, so lovely to have such good freshly prepared food and so much choice! And Selena and her wonderful staff made our stay so memorable and comfortable and we will definitely be returning and totally recommending this wonderful guesthouse!

We had no issues at all with the guesthouse, it’s perfect. We booked a standard double which was perfect for this visit but would treat ourselves to a bigger room for our next stay!

The staff were lovely, from being greeted in a very friendly manner by Selina, to a farewell to the lady who cooked breakfast. The room was clean and they had made great use of a small space to get an ensuite in. There were lots of towels supplied and some lovely smelling shower gel. It was just a welcoming place altogether. We were given recommendations for restaurants (and a discount) and there were plenty of leaflets available for attractions in the area.

To us, the pillows were a bit overstuffed for comfort so I ended up sleeping without but that is purely personal.

The breakfast was exceptionally good, and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There is no lift (we were informed inadvance) and carrying cases up 3 flights can be difficult. Also other visitors could be heard when using the stairs despite thick carpet Our 2 rooms were at the back. Whilst very comfy and clean we only had views into other houses windows, and roofs, it wasn’t a picturesque view. The area off the seafront and behind the guest house Is very run down.

We had a perfect stay at the Beach Front, the staff were so kind and friendly, we felt very welcome and relaxed. The hotel is very clean and fresh and in perfect condition. The location is extremely nice, right in front of the sea and the hotel is so so cute! We were able to pick up the key early as we were busy during the check in times and this was really great for us! Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked to order. Parking available just round the corner for free. Couldn't fault anything at all, thanks to the whole team, especially Selina and the lovely staff at breakfast!!

The beachfront hotel is a small but very lovely hotel. It’s incredibly clean, with cosy seating areas. So if you want to spend an evening in, you can relax in the drawing room. Selina the manager is very helpful, and well organised. She made the whole experience hassle free. Breakfast was delicious served by warm, friendly, happy staff. I have stayed in the Cavendish before, and The beachfront exceeds it by miles! Rooms were spotless, beds were comfortable no squeaky bed frames, no lumpy mattresses. I can not fault this hotel in anyway! And cherry on top, it smelt divine inside, would love to know the candles they were using! Overall it’s a 10/10 for me. It will be the only hotel I use whenever I stay in Eastbourne

We have stayed at several guest houses . Mainly east coast & this has been the best that we have ever stayed in . The location is fantastic looking out over the sea. The Breakfast was first class ,every item served on our Full English was nice& hot & staff were superb. Nothing was too much & we will return.

Both my wife& I have thought long & hard & can honestly say nothing. We could have had a bit more sunshine but I don’t think that comes under the Beach Front house control.

Breakfast, the quality & preparation of food and the presentation was perfect - Delicious! We loved the good quality coffee in the cafetière. (Thank you Carol) Service, we were made to feel so welcome and the friendly & efficient service with a smile was excellent (Thank you Selina) The room and ensuite were immaculate (Thank you to the Cleaning Team) We loved the quality and comfort of the entrance lounge - it really is an impressive welcome! We also loved the size of the Dining area, and the decor throughout. The onsite well stocked Drinks Fridge was a very useful option. The Guest Information Folder in the room contained some extremely helpful and thoughtful information. The Beach Front Guest House is aptly named and a real Gem of a place ... we will recommend it and will definitely return! Thanks to All!

We may select a lower floor next time! Although we were made aware before we arrived that we were on the top floors so the stairs were no surprise!

The welcome from Selina was lovely and very friendly. The bedroom was large, bright, airy and extremely clean. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection of locally sourced ingredients. I have coeliac disease and they catered excellently for my gluten free requirements with almost all breakfast items available gluten free. The staff were also very knowledgeable about cross contamination, which was extremely reassuring. Unfortunately only a short stay but we will definitely be back.
