This is a fairly typical business hotel but it represents good value for money. The room was large with all the mod cons and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with both a tub and a shower. The room was serviced every day. The breakfast was a lovely buffet with a wide selection of food, that we rated as excellent. We tried a Ramadan buffet on two evenings over our 1 week stay, these were also excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the maid to the Operations Manager Mr Ravindran. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We used this as an overnight stop as it was a half hour car ride from Kedah to get the ferry to Langkawi. The hotel was amazing and the room was huge. Would highly recommend staying here and located near the mall which is nice to go to and unwind.

As a backpacker we used this as a one night stay before getting the ferry to Langkawi. Found it very strange as it was the first place we stayed that didn’t let you bring in your own food from outside. The TV could do with slight improvement as all the channels were quite fuzzy. Apart from this the place was really good and we couldn’t have faulted it.

Size of room is good. More importantly, there was adequate lighting - many Malaysian hotels seem to scrimp on lighting - either few lights or the use of low wattage bulbs - which make for dark rooms. The shower cubicle had a full door which is so much better than those that half two panels or worse only one panel (and the entire floor gets wet). Did not try the breakfast but note that there was a discount for senior citizens :)

Everything seemed OK.

Large room and very comfortable bed. The restaurant is good, but the menu could do with a few more suggestions for smaller dishes or snacks. Good breakfast.

Hot water system in my room was not working. New regulations of no food, drinks,or snacks from outside to be brought in to room means after restaurant closes at 9.30 you have to walk a fair way to find a Cafe or restaurant, if you are hungry.

The property is located at the heart of Alor Setar. I admit that it is value for the money. I would give a rate of 3.5 to 4 stars out of five. The staff there is not as friendly as in other same rate stars hotels. It is only few meters to the biggest mall at Alor Setar -- Aman Central Mall. For the cleanness and facilitities, I would give a fair rate for it, not too bad at all. The swtich in the hotel are using touch sensor switch which is a very good point. It has enough parking sport for the hotel guest.

First, the drainage system for the bathtub is faulty. When we try to drain the water from the bathtub, it will outflow all over the bathroom and cause the whole bathroom flood and slippery.

The variety in breakfast spread was awesome. The room is large and super comfortable. The location is perfect

I wish they will give more than 1 access card and allow Grab food or food panda to deliver meals to the hotel because when i reached the hotel, i am not well but had to go out to find foods since the hotel foods are quite expensive. The wifi is slow and restricted to 2 devices. Common surau is hot and stuffy because no aircond. Even the lobby and corridor is super hot as if the aircobd was not on.

Spacious room with the view of Alor setar tower. I am a light sleeper, very quiet room, a bonus to me. Good air conditioner, comfortable bed, best blanket, best towel, best toiletries set, best complimentary snacks and drinks, best lighting. Overall, 4.8/5.

I reached around 6:30 pm. During ramdhan and around iftar,i was told that i could not order the room service. Room service will only be available after 9 pm. Also, the hotel has rules, whereby you could not bring outside food or will be fine/penalty. Unfortunately, i forgot to correct the staff when i was given a breakfast voucher. I missed the part where my voucher is stamp for sahur (3am-5.30am) and not for regular breakfast hour. The staff assume i will be fasting on that day.

the room is clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful even if there is a problem in terms of breakfast payment but it can be resolved immediately.. anyway I am satisfied with the service and stay at this hotel..thank you to all the staff and I will come stay here again...

there's nothing I don't like.. I'm really satisfied staying at this hotel..

Spacious room, clean toilet and bathroom, nice coffee house and food. Believe me, they have a Royal and VVIP suite here. It must be something.

1st entry at room, quite smelly, maybe coz the ventilation issue but, after a while the smell gone. Shower quite slow but not so big deal. The heater like, "now u have it, now u dont"😤😅 and it keep going like that for 4 days. Not a big deal for me coz, i am not the type like, can't take bath without hot water.. haha..

Nver thought would get such a spacious room with very affordable price. The toilet also spacious and have the bathtub with all the toiletries. The mini bar also great! Have junk food and also carbonated drinks! The quality and comfy is really out of my expectations!

The door only can be entered using main lobby. Which it would be great if they open the side door which is nearer to our room.
