Great location and nice facilities.

At check-in we were pushed to buy an all-inclusive package to use the facilities which turned out to be very expensive for what was offered and we ended up not using it at all. Total waste of money. I’d recommend not buying it. Also, the food at the main restaurant was not good. Tasted like Re-heated airplane food. And, again we were pushed into buying a food package which thankfully we did not buy. The food at the pool though was decent. That facilities themselves and location are excellent just don’t get suckered into their meal packages and all inclusive resort activities.

Didn’t have a supermarket or store to buy some essentials, the nearest supermarket was not if a walking distance in the heat. If they have left some complimentary water and coffee machine or a kettle, it would have been a perfect stay

Stayed for 5 nights, and added two more, in a large family suite, with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms and a large living area, overlooking the sea and the pools. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended. Staff go out of their way to accommodate guests. Will definitely come back.

Dinner menu could use more variety in the main courses. Starters, salads, and the rest were all very good though.

Amazing hotel spaceous, quiet and relaxed atmosphere, comfortable rooms and beds and the pool area was spectacular.

The only thing i didnt like was the gym facilites the ones the hotel offers are equiptment of about 6 machines outside and most of them do not work and are in a poor state, they have a soectacular gym facility apart but was not stated in the booking website or anywhere they charge €40 a day for a single use!

Longtime customers who’ve been staying here each summer since 2014. We love the spacious layout of the property, the facilities, the courteous staff, and the beach, which is clean and not very crowded compared to other beaches up and down the coast. All around, very family friendly. This year, the lunch menu was expanded significantly - quite a variety of excellent choices. As we say at the end of each visit: “See you next year!”

This is nitpicking, but it really is the only thing we found wanting during this year’s stay: our assigned parking space was at the absolute opposite end of the parking garage in comparison to the location of the entrance to our block/room. This would be understandable if the parking spaces were full; however, the lot was fairly empty. A request for a change was, surprisingly, received a little cooly, and we didn’t press the issue. Reception staff should, perhaps, be more familiar with the location and proximity of parking spaces to the guests’ rooms when assigning parking.

Breakfast was great, family room was massive with 2 balconies, very clean, pool area very clean lots of sun loungers. Good cocktails. Staff very friendly and attentive. Lovely grounds.

Outside building needs a bit of TLC. Paintwork looks a bit tatty on some of the hotel and there were empty flower beds on every balcony. Would be nice if they were full. When we first arrived I was slightly disappointed by the outside but once I saw inside the entrance was lovely and hotel really nice. Big hotel a lot of empty space so not much of an atmosphere inside if that’s what you’re after. Dinner was expensive for what you got. My husband and I ordered vegetables as a side. It was £8 for a few slices of courgette and some onion. So we didn’t eat dinner in the hotel after but plenty of places to go nearby (if you have a car)

We had a large double sea view room and the massive bed was very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly, and we ha breakfast and dinner in the main building restaurant. Due to the weather, the beach grill restaurant was closed, which was a shame, but strong winds did not help. The pool area and adult’s only area are lovely and well kept, with a pool service offering drinks & snacks. The resort is large and occupancy during our stay was probably below 40% and the resort did seem soulless due to its size and not many people. The Marriot has now bought the hotel and will take up full ownership next summer, so no doubt the hotel will receive a refurb and some TLC in some much needed areas to improve the conditions and create a holiday ambience for guests.

Staff need management training in some areas for improved customer service TLC needed in some parts of the hotel; especially external fascias.

The pool area with a bar, 2 pools for adults and 1 children pool is the biggest plus of this property. It is well maintained with grass, flowers and palm trees in the back which makes it beautiful to relax and spend your day. What we also liked is that the rooms are very spacious and bright with a little balcony. Buffet breakfast had a large selection of food and drinks. Dinner was organized by the sea with live accoustic music and a themed food offer (Mexican, French, Italian). Nice playground for kids (inside and outside).

It is located outside of the Estepona city center, very close to the main road, so there is not a lot of possibility to walk around. It is difficult even to go to the store if you do not have a car (like we had). We were sad that we were not able to swim in the sea as the water was too cold and with waves. The prices of drinks and food at the bar could be a bit lower. The stuff is pleasent and helpful, but could speak slightly better English in order to explain everything to the guests.

Excellent pool and lovely view on to the beach. Family suite was a great size and very comfortable for the four of us. Food was also very good at breakfast (buffet) and pool bar/restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff and plenty of them. Would definitely recommend.

The only comment I would make with the hotel, is that it has more potential and needs a little more decoration/facelift to bring it fully to life. A small shop and/or alternative late night bar would be the icing on the cake.

The pool was great even though it was cold we got used to it. Plenty of pool beds. We enjoyed tennis and played lots of table tennis. Hair dryer was excellent when often they are terrible in hotels. I brought a travel one but didn’t have to use it. The room was cleaned everyday. Staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay, a very good quality hotel.

The location isn’t ideal we got taxis most nights to Estepona or Duquesa. There is a supermarket across from the hotel but there is a motorway between it and the hotel so it’s a bit tricky to get there without a car. The bathroom doors in our room were sliding doors that often didn’t close properly. Overall the room is very spacious and of good standard. We only had dinner one night in the hotel and unfortunately the buffet was terrible. It was only the starters that were part of the self service buffet which was dry meat and rock hard bread. Mains and dessert were also well below par. The €32 per person was very expensive for a ‘meal’ that had minimal effort/quality.
