Everything was what you would expect from a small Best Western clean rooms, nice staff. We were going to the Texas Renaissance Festival, travelling with us was our granddaughter and my wife's service dog. Location was easy to find, beautiful view of the lake, and very easy access to comfort food locations. Added bonus it was very easy access to get to the festival.

What was poor was accessibility to the room. The facility is located in a narrow long commercial lot. You cannot drive around the place. One way in and one way out. Stairs are located on either end, which is fine except there is very limited parking. We were given room 221, which is on the backside towards the front. This meant we would have to park at the other end of the hotel, walk up the stairs and all the way down to our room. Luggage, grandbaby and service dog made this very tedious. Next time we'll be specific regarding our room.

the pool was nice 👌. actually, lake Conroe was advertised as some sort of resort . maybe I just dont understand Texas. everywhere took 20 min or more to drive short distances. this hotel in my opinion was better than the margartaville on the lake ( at 4 times the price) or all the gated communities . We were here for a wedding . the staff does try to keep the place up.

the 6 lanes of one way traffic made it hard to get into the place , if you miss it, go to the light and turn around so traffic flows same side of hotel. look for driveway after suoer 8 and before Popeyes. if you miss it again , there is no back entrance from Popeyes. just try again at a light , it seems dangerous to do uturns across 6 lanes of one way traffic . we never could figure out how to get across the 6 lanes of traffic to the park and marina across the street .

I left to eat breakfast with a friend, so I didn't eat there.

I was concerned that it was raining and that made the sidewalk very slippery. There were signs up warning that it was slippery though.

The breakfast was better than expected. There were hot items, which is unusual these days.

The eggs were kind of weird, the pancakes more so. There were only 2 juice choices and so no cranberry juice.

Booked this property for both my parents and brother's family. My husband and I have stayed at the BW multiple times during a hurricane and a few renovations to our home. We have never been disappointed and neither were my family over this past weekend.

The breakfast was good, but not great.

There were no napkins in the room. There are no elevators, but that didn’t bother us since we didn’t have any health issues. We got this room at a very reasonable price, though with a condition of no refund incase of cancellation.

Not going to lie I expected a little more breakfast then what was given. Overall the room was nice and clean and very cozy and it was the pool was amazing.

Breakfast. The self made pancakes weren’t that good and there wasn’t a lot to eat but they did have some good honey bun options and such. I just believe it could be better

Everything was pretty clean and the staff was quick to help with issues.

The beds were a bit hard for my liking. The TV I had wasn't set up all the way so I couldn't use any streaming services. The eggs at breakfast tasted weird and the pancake machine while they tasted good, came out looking a bit raw.

Michelle at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, our room was very nice / cold AC, the grounds were landscaped beautifully. Breakfast was very good. We had fun in the pool too. Location is great - view of the lake across the street. We will be back!

We enjoyed the breakfast and the location was quiet!

The bed was quite firm and both of us had trouble sleeping on it. I would have preferred something other than Fox News to listen to in the morning while I ate breakfast. Perhaps something that wasn't news at all since it is so partisian and devisive?
