Was An unexpected gem, very clean, comfortable, well priced, and centrally located to where I needed to be. Staff were very friendly and professional, especially Krish at the front desk and the GM. However, i did not care for the experience of walking in from my day of business on my first day and being assertively demanded for immediate payment to my room by a person behind the desk who did not identify himself and acted with authority but was unprofessional at the same time. I asked if he was the owner and he laughed and avoided the question. He was not. It was surprising as I had just checked in from an international flight early that morning and had explained i would pay cash (per their preference) following my visit to the local bank later that same morning, so could put a CC on file in the meantime. Being approached the way I was as soon as I walked in the lobby later that day was insulting as if to suggest there was a non payment problem! Other than that one unpleasant experience, I really appreciated the overall guestroom quality and value compared to several other more reputed Branded hotels in the area that I have stayed at over past years. If you're not looking for amenity frills (restaurant, pool, fitness etc), which i was not, as i have my local go tos for that, and if what you want most is a good clean bed and bathroom in a reasonably central and safe area free of damp/old hotel smells etc, then this is a great option for you! This hotel included thoughtful details in the room that as a frequent traveler and Hospitality interior designer, I didn't expect for the modest price. This has become my preferred hotel stay for Kochi moving forward!

Refer to above review for my single unpleasant experience. Also, this hotel was unfortunately hard ro find. Poor street signage. The only street front sign they had was not lit or well designed for visibility. Unless one is patient to look for it, its easy to live in the area for years (like my cousins) and not know it exists!

Morning staff was very friendly and morning security was very helpful too. breakfast was ok. Room was clean and neat.

We came directly from airport, and I had to lift my 30kg luggage through the steps and there was no one to help us or to open the door for us. I reached there around 2am and I had to wait long time for the receptionist to do all my paperwork. you could do all these paper works online or on the next day when we travel around 245 hours and reaching there in the early morning.

Location was ideal

AC was not working properly, even after informing the staff two times, the response was poor

We like the hotel location. Though room was small the bed was comfortable.

The bathroom has no hot water! We were told to keep the tap open for 15 minutes when we called the reception! It's too inconvenient. Can we simply spend 15 minutes in the bathroom to get hot water when we have a meeting to attend? The power went out repeatedly from 3am to 4am both days of our stay, every 20 seconds. Sleeping so badly both days.
