Hotel Henry has a warm and welcoming environment from the the moment you see the colorful outside building, to the fireplace in the lobby. The reason we booked was to be close to the airport as it is only a 15 minute drive. We only had one full day in Germany, and were planning on spending it in Munich. However, the town of Erding, a short walk from the hotel, was so quaint and beautiful, with lots of shops, restaurants, and walking trails, we spent the whole day there instead. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel buffet breakfast was one of the best we have had in Europe. We highly recommend this stay.

The receptionist/owner was very warm. She even booked a taxi for us, offered us dinner because we came in late after missing our flight due to the microsoft glitch. The room had an old German home feel. Unfortunately we weren’t able to have breakfast because we left at 4:15am. The shower was great and it was a perfect place to stay. 15 kms away from the airport but German motorways are excellent.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like except we didn’t stay long enough. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The location is great and we loved the quirky rooms each with a theme was fun.

The food in the restaurant and the service were not great. My son's fish and chips was not good and I am pretty sure it had been frozen and then gone straight in the fryer. He loves fish but the inside of the batter resembled soggy mash potato and had no relation to a piece of fish. I guess fish and chips is not a German thing and would have been better to go with a more traditional dish to the area. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming too with no fried eggs and the hot food wasn't the best but a nice selection of other cold dishes and pastries.

The spacious room, large and comfy bed, black out curtains and quiet yet efficient air conditioning all contributed to a great night sleep. The staff are very friendly though few and immediately addressed every request. The hotel is beautifully decorated and painted.

The noise from the street is evident during the day when the windows are open. The hotel overall could be cleaner. The standing shower cubicle was a bit small but with great water pressure.

The room was large and well-appointed. They had options to meet any of our needs. The breakfast was exceptional. We ate at the restaurant one everning and it was very good. The location was perfect for us as we were flying out of Munich.

The only complaint we could think of is that we were not informed that breakfast on our last day was not at 0700, but moved to 0800 due to national holiday. We had arranged our departure based on the 0700 breakfast time, so were unable to eat that day before we drove to the airport. Otherwise everything was great!

Location 15 min taxi from Munich Airport. Easy train ride (25 mins) to downtown Munich. Hotel right by downtown Erding. Beautiful walk to town, or along the stream that runs through the town, with lovely path to stroll along on. Breakfast/restaurant area open, windows all around. Large variety of food offerings. Restaurant-garden seating great. ALL meals I had were great/super fresh. And yes, the local beer serve, Erdinger is delicious. All staff were helpful/personable.

Stay there before and after a motorcycle tour. Everything was great. No let downs!

Friendly and rather welcoming staff. Perfect location for Therme Erding. Only a 20-30 minutes walk or a taxi ride for 8-10 Euro's. I have purchased the Therme All Day Pass at Henry's and saved 5% :) The room was very clean and quite. Complimentary quality coffee and tea replenish daily. Excellent restaurant service. I would like to thank Veronica for her wonderful caring attitude. Awesome buffet style breakfast. The a la carte menu included the delicious Munich Schnitzel among other great choices. Highly recommended.

I liked the style of the hotel. The staff, specially the lady who checked us in Saturday afternoon The location of the hotel just 10 minutes to the gorgeous Erding and about 20 minutes from airport

I wish there was a window mesh to avoid insects entering the room

Good breakfast. Great beer served by the hotel staff. The hotel restaurant was closed the day we checked in, so we went around the corner and enjoyed an authentic German restaurant, and experience. Each room in this hotel is decorated in a fashion which represents the room's theme country or city. We stayed in the Dublin suite, a lovely room with its own balcony overlooking the garden. It was my husband's favorite room of our entire three week trip overseas.

There was nothing we didn't like.

electric outlets are somehwat hard to use - inconvenient locations shower is inconvenient - very high step to get inside it, no place to to put toiletries inside the shower
