Super friendly staff, delicous food, lovely view from the restaurant balcony. We weren‘t really sure whether they would have food for us and were pleasantly surprised by the opening hours of the kitchen starting at 6:30 in the morning and also covering supper in the evening. We walked to the Park entrance, 20 minutes. The cottage also offers a ride for 10 MYR for those who want to save their energy for the mountain climb…. We wanted to come back after our climb but there sadly were no rooms left.

Great location for Kinabalu Mountain Park. We had the small glamping style room. It was comfortable and a good rate. The room and bed were cosy and we both slept very well. The check in was easy and the food in the restaurant was ok. Thhey provided an outside cooking area that was well stocked for our needs. The toilet was clean Great view from your bedroom door Overall a great place to stay if you want basic accomodation that is clean, comfortable, quiet and friendly

very little except the shower fluctuated between cold and very cold and the car park was a bit muddy which made wheeling a suitcase a little difficult

Homely, has a cosy and campsite feel.

The shower had good water pressure but the water was not hot. It was barely lukewarm, thus, it was cold to shower. My room had a musty odour as the walls of the room had patches of mildew and mould, nonetheless, the room is very clean & bed was comfortable & clean too.

Very nice place with a beautiful garden, great restaurant with good music, friendly staff, very clean and well maintained, just a 10-15 min walk from the entrance of the Kinabalu National Park, very good value for money

Maybe a few more options to put or hang your stuff, e.g. a little bench in the room or something to hang the towel and clothes in the shower.

The staff was super friendly. I stayed at somewhere else before the 2D1N for mountain kota kinabalu. The staff helped to get a driver that fetched me to the park and brought my luggage to Lily at a lower cost as compared to the previous guesthouse and the park driver. The facility was basic and equipped with the essentials. Water is cold at everywhere in kundasang, so nothing much to complain.

I spotted some mold on bed sheet, maybe it is too humid in the mountain area. Sometimes there is black out, so no light source and power for charging. My head torch came in handy.

The ladies that worked there are friendly, kind, and helpful.The food was all exceptionally good. The location was walking distance to the park. The scenery from the little tent-like rooms was gorgeous.

The mattresses on the floor were difficult to get up and down for us senior citi,ens. Also, the beds could have used an extra blanket...or three.

Lovely place on walking distance from the mt. Kinabalu NP. The staff is super friendly, they helped us with transportation for the surroundings and back to KK. The garden is super nice and has a great view on mt. Kinabalu and the valley below. The restaurant has delicious food and good wifi, but sometimes the wifi is not working. A small kitchen is available for when you want to cook. Room was very clean!

Variety choice of breakfast, the price also okay. The location is good near to the Kinabalu park. the owner will refill for you the mineral bottle. they gave us a lot! we are so happy for that! the owner was also quite friendly and flexible as we reach our room a bit late after going down from mount climbing, they've waited for us! thank you so much for that! They also repaired the water pump for us. u also can see the Akinabalu from your room.

We've met with two big cockroaches entering our room. i think the insects come from the surrounding area. i think you should put a pipe for the toilet bowl. not everyone okay with the old way using the water dipper.

Facing the Mount Kinabalu and hills. Room comfortable and wide, suitable for travel in group or big family. Open kitchen are provided outside the house, can cook but bring your own cooking stuff. 7-10 mins from Kundasang. Facilities included: 1. Private bathroom 2. Iron board 3. Iron 4. Hair dryer 5. it has fire place! that’s rare for malaysian. owners muslim, restaurant halal and very good service. just that, it’s not as big as pictured but enough for us, they even provided extra mattress. and to be clear its not 2 bedrooms, its downstairs and upstairs, that’s all. and bathroom/toilet is downstairs. the staircase quiet steep.
