We loved the owners relaxed welcome and communication leading up to our holiday. George was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble atall. From day one we felt relaxed as if we were visiting family. The pool was superb and as it was low season wasnt crowded and beautifully clean with free sun beds and seating around the pool. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a mini kitchen area with a double ring so we were able to prepare simple breakfasts and eat out on the balcony listening to the cockerels sing and the gentle sounds of Bells from the goats grazing in the field behind our apartment. We would not hesitate to come back and stay again as we had such a lovely time with George and his super family. 10/10

I suppose if you didn't have a car it's a good twenty minute walk to the beach but there are plenty of bars and cafes that you can stop off at on the way and enjoy a lovely Greek coffee for about two euros. The Greek people were very friendly and helpful so it made the break even more special. Again we rented a car at a reasonable rate which was great for getting around the island and visiting little tavernas and free parking nearly everywhere.

It was amazing, we have had initially some issues with another accommodation and somehow we switched at a last moment to Zante523. Our host George is the most kind, he helped us in preparing a room early in the morning, we had a very nice reception and our 10 days staying was fantastic. Exceptional service and we always have had a happy feeling during vacation. What a nice family! This trip left us craving for more and this location is definitely our next on the list, cannot wait!

Everything! Lovely location just on the outskirts of the busy town so its peaceful, lovely small and friendly family run accommodation with all the necessities for self catering, local shops and cafes/bars/car hire etc near enough to walk to, a bar and sun beds by the pool for relaxing, a good base for exploring the island. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING HOSTS! George the host is a beautiful person, he goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable, along with his family and all the staff. Its a home from home! If you expect 100% modern, sparkly or all singing and dancing then this isn't for you but if you prefer authentic greek, romantic, comfy and relaxing then this place is absolutely perfect to relax and unwind 👌 ♥

There's nothing to dislike unless you're snobbish with a negative mind set.

I loved everything about the accommodation and I couldn't get better place to stay. Mr George was very friendly, polite and kind. It's away from the noise, but also very close to the beach, shops and clubs. You can just walk a few minutes to the beach. I will be definitely back next year. It was lovely.

The location was a short distance from the strip which meant it was a lot quieter. This worked for us. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and was serviced regularly by a very friendly lady called Maria. George (the owner/host) was always available for advice and even took us down to kalamaki and Zante Town couple of times. We will definitely be returning.

George, the owner, was very friendly and helpfull during the whole stay. The place is in quiet street. The room was spaceous, with comfortable beds. The pool area was nice, with shade, trees and flowers.We could pick and eat juicy figs right from the tree after swimming.

The kitchen was poorly equipted with dishes, cutlery and washing necessities.

I would say the manager Georgia of the hotel is very kind and hospital to guests. He helped me to rent a boat and allowed me to stay longer because of late ferry. my kids enjoy a lot on swimming everyday. The hotel keeps distance to the main street which helps for sleeping.

Good location ,nice room, great pool , all round cleanliness , but above all the hotel owner george and his family , absolute diamonds they are nothing is too much trouble for them, helped me lot with recommendations for places to go, eat ,beaches etc ,always willing to help with lifts to the beach or down to the strip, its about 20 mins walk , not a problem tho easy to find , all in all a great experience at zante 523, 10/10 from me 👌

Great Location, you can easy park you car. Next to a small supermarket. Thanks to George for his hospitality and good tips. Makes denifetly our stay in Zakinthos more pleasant. Totally recommend it :)

Everything was good ! Great value for money

Great place, away from noise, clean rooms, beautiful flowers in the garden, clean pool. The owner, Jerzy, is very welcoming and caring. It was because of the opinions about the owner that I decided to go to this place alone with my daughter and it was better than I expected. I will be happy to visit this place in the future when it comes to Zakynthos, I will definitely choose Georg's rooms again.
