The room rate is low considering that Sapporo is the 5th largest city of Japan. For my single room, it has a small kitchen. For the room type , I have not found such room rate in other major cities in Japan.

The wooden bed can be shaky and causing noise. It should have been fixed.

Super smooth check in even though it's with an iPad :) We arrived close to midnight but still had no problem with check in and the room was already heated. We didn't interact with anyone but still felt welcome. The location is prime with a short easy walk from Sapporo station even with 2(!) large suitcases in the snow. Room was large for city sizes. Plenty for a couple. We liked that it has a bedroom and a living room. We didnt use the kitchen but there was a small kitchen. I would go back again to this place.

The location is just a couple of blocks from the main train station. Because I was travelling on a JR pass, that was handy. The room was actually set up to sleep 3 despite the small size and I was impressed with the double bunk beds. Good water-pressure. Heat pump individually to the room so you can get your own comfort level.

The whole place is set up for check in and out without human contact. I'm just a little bit not ready for all the qr codes and such, but the guy on duty was nice enough to walk me through it. His patience was appreciated. I was the person who hadn't read a full email on that process.

Location is good. Convenient store Lawson is just 15-20m away. Walking distance to Sapporo JR station/subway station. Staff are very polite and accommodating. Mattress and pillow are very comfortable and queen bed is spacious to sleep 2 persons.

Our room has 3 queen beds. One is in living room and 2 in bedroom. Beds take up too much walking area. Unpacking luggage is a challenge. Bathroom with toilet is too small. Can't put many toiletries. Need to climb up a step for bathroom and also to step into bath tub for bathing. Ceiling is low.

Nice and comfortable beds. A few minute walk to the jR Sapporo station. Wifi connection is easily seen and readable. An ensuite washing machine.

The toilet and bath are together. Nice if separated esp for a bigger group. Not enough space for dining or gathering around. Dont expect you can dine or cook inside the room. Practically a place to sleep in. There is nobody in the front desk most of the time to ask for garbage bags since we stayed for 2 nights.

Second stay at Residence Hotel Stripe Sapporo (first time was early Mar 2020). Very affordable price for a hotel only 5 mins walk to the JR Sapporo station. Perfect for travellers who are planning to rely on the JR and city metro to get around. The room was bigger than the one we had last time and the bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay there very much. There's also a private kitchen in your room if you've bought raw produce and you can rent a whole set of kitchen equipment, complete with stove and cooking utensils for only 500 yen per night.

I don't really mind this, but just a caution to other travellers: there is no automatic fresh towel service. We have a habit of reusing old towels after hanging them up to dry, so this didn't bother us at all.

The laundry room was very convenient! I appreciated the large size of the washers and dryers. The hotel is also very close to the train station, and the fun shopping streets that run under the city, which you can access from there! The place was very cozy in the middle of winter. I also really appreciated the amenities in the lobby.

The location is awesome so close to the main train station of Sapporo and a short walk to the city centre. Room was basic but had everything I needed and the slightly later checkout time of 11am worked well for my travel plans. The check in and check out system worked really well and it was very nice not to have a long check in process which ment I was able to get up and into my room very quick!

Very clean easy to check in & out. Location near the sapporo station 400 meter away. Suitable for family of 3 people where it is quite hard to find a room with 3 people together near the area. My family had a good sleep here.

Room space are quite limited. Need to be good in arranging the baggage.

it’s location is pretty good as it’s not too far from the Sapporo station. the room is quite comfy with a lot of charging station. the bathroom is pretty small but it’s understandable. there are a lot of free amenities right in front of the lift. there’s a microwave in the front as well. there’s a Lawson next to the building. you can check in by yourself. you can also rent iron and use the washing machine for Y100 or Y200 and dryer for Y200
