The area is secured,quiet,clean and it is surrounded by natural species in the ecosystem, in the morning you can hear the melody of birds.The fresh air coming from the bush and mountains wow its a place to visit again if you need a peace of mind.Their facilities are intact braai areas and clean swimming pool.

They room i booked didn't have a bathroom within I had to go out in the passage to share.

The location was set deep in nature, and felt very relaxing upon arrival. We certainly enjoyed the reception by Brenda (the lodge manager) as well as briefly chatting with the owner (Yolinda), the room "Grace" was very clean, spacious and just what we saw on the pictures. There's a resident dog and cat, both of which were welcoming as well ! The view from the pool overlooking the valley was a perfect sight for a sunset ! Brenda helped us amazingly by moving us from our room to a bigger, standalone one (Harmony), when we saw the lack of doors in the bathroom. She was amazing <3. We definitely appreciated the fact that the property is solar powered and we could charge our devices when there was load shedding as well as keep the lights on. There is also a huge communal area such as the kitchen, two dining tables, a TV with sports channels with a comfy couch, and also a big braai area. I think we got more for what we paid for and that's always a plus.

The bathroom had two entrances from both sides of the room, it is nice in aesthetic however not so much in privacy especially if you are staying with a family of four, we mentioned this to Brenda and she moved us to a better room that was standalone from the main building and even bigger!

The one lady Belinda that assists with the cleaning of the facilities is such a friendly and warm welcoming person. The area was quiet and tranquil.

The creeky door to GRACE the one room we stayed in. The light coming in through the high roof windows it's too bright at night for people that like a dark room when wanting to sleep. Reception area needs a bit of assistance as we arrived from JHB and got there round 21:30 & ourselves and another couple were waiting at the gate, calling and no answer.

WE ( 6 COUPLES)Were allocated a big,nice,clean units and big kitchen with ALL FACILITIES. to share/ communal. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Sharing of bathroom facility. WE Booked Place for six couple (12). Some had to share ONE which was not VERY COMFORTABLE.Wish building of more bathrooms. Kitchen was big and nice but felt no privacy when people from other units ( with own kitchen) invaded/ made our communal kitchen a thoroughfare. Unless rules could be revisited and this explained to visitors.

A security conscious, highland resort with a range of themed, nicely decorated rooms, clean, comfortably outfitted. Shared bathrooms, dining, kitchen and indoor lounge areas; poolside patios and outdoor recreational areas providing great views. WiFi, TV, free tea & coffee. Lovely location, decor and buildings offering extensive facilities,

Rough approach road, staffing and soundproofing could be better; as room by the pool is subject noise of guest using phone or socialising outside.

It's awesome that they clean your room. And if you are a beginner like me, they have pots, pans even an egg lifter available for you. Brenda, a staff memeber, is awesome.

I didn't know whwre to set the temp of the fridge so evwrything kinda froze. Bit it was so boiling hot that tge frozen coke and water came as a blessing

The host is extremely accommodating to make sure that her guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. The property, gardens and views are beautiful.

Booking. com should just make sure that they advertise all the correct information on their website regarding rooms v/s bathrooms.

The environment and cleanliness of the place. Staff was very friendly and helpful especially Brenda. We liked the fact that it's such a lovely quiet place and it's very beautiful. I don't believe we paid such a small amount in such a beautiful place.

Nothing, we loved everything about the place and the staff.

We were dissapointed to find out there are no soaps in the bathrooms

I liked the fact that the owner and the helper sis Brenda really love their business and if there's an issue that needs to be solved it get solved faster. The pool is so nice and very welcoming. Brenda the helper went an extra mile to show us around and showed us the river that had a hippo in it thank you highlands creek.

The place is too big to only have one helper whether its busy time or not helpers should be at least two or three .
