This is a experience spa hotel. You get the spa experience but also you stay in a 600 year old castle in the middle of the forest, so it is quite a unique place. We particularly liked the breakfast (ok for vegetarians, might be tricky for vegans, but you can contact them before to for dietary requirements). The spa is also really good with plenty of options for massages and skin treatments. The 2 saunas and jacuzzi by the pool are also really relaxing. We really loved our time here and will come back for sure.

The castle looks great with all the interior in a medieval style. The food was above expectations. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner buffet a lot. The pool was a great addition to end our day. Especially for the kids. The water in the pool was 29°C (quite warm and the pool area itself was warm as well. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We also found a small play area for the kids near reception and took a table game to play in our room. We liked our stay a lot, we felt very comfy and felt like home. Great location, close to Karlovy Vary and ski resorts. Also, there is a park with stone statues to walk around.

It was our first time taking a half board option (breakfast and dinner), and we were quite surprised that drinks were not included in the dinner. So we had to buy drinks and pay extra. It would be nice if simple drinks like tea/coffee and water could be offered at dinner as part of the half board option. Slippers are not offered together with towel and robe for spa/pool area. But there is an option to buy flip flops. Not sure if they will have sizes to suit everyone, so better to take your own slippers or flip flops.

This was really a unique experience. The castle looks amazing and everything is clean and new inside. The bed was very comfortable and I liked that they provided 3 different sizes of pillows. We spent all three evenings around the swimming pool area and it was never crowded, and the saunas were nice too. The parking area is quite big, so there were always enough spots to park. Breakfast was good and had plenty of options to choose from.

The only thing that bothered me a tiny bit is that the yard in front of the castle was completely frozen, so it was very slippery. I would expect them to use salt as a prevention, but maybe that's not something common in Czechia.

Beautiful building located in a forest. Interior furnishings super .. The room was of good size and nicely decorated. The breakfast/dinner room was impressive. Food was nice (BUT could have been warmer)

The bed was so uncomfortable, felt like a hard board. Spa area for size of hotel is way too small. Having to constantly ask at spa reception to put jacuzzi on (only fits two people) became an annoyance!!!!

It was perfect, the Castle looks like exactly as on the photos, the room was excellent (Deluxe room), the Spa & Wellness was spectacular, the pool was enormous, the Jacuzzi and sauna was great, the massage treatments were super good, the parking was well resolved, great spaces, and the authenticity & atmosphere of the castle and the garden was beyond expectations, not to speak about the exceptional pine forest which surrounded the complete area, providing a marvelous view. The meals were also perfect, the breakfast with multiple choices was always delicious, and contentiously available during the complete morning. We had lunch & dinner at the local Tavern Restaurant, for twice I had Duroc roasted pork tenderloin, that had dreamlike taste, it was a different level of experience, the chef did an awesome job there. Overall it was really good, I truly recommend to try this place, it was one of the best experience that we had ever.

The hotel/room was really nice and perfekt. just like the breakfast and dinner variety. location of the hotel and the look was stunning. quiet and nice for privacy and romance.

the spa wasn’t that good. the steaming cabin wasn’t working at all.. and there was only one sauna and it was really small max 6 people would fitted in. luckily at our stay it wasn’t that busy.. so the spa area could have been a bit better if it’s already calling it self a spa wellness resort.

The service was great the rooms were spacious and the garden was beautiful. The food was great, both for the breakfast and the dinner. The Spa Treatments are very relaxing and inexpensive. All in all a very relaxing stay.

We would’ve loved to hear authentic mideval music in the restaurant and the tavern bar instead of 90s disco and jazz. The Pool in the Spa was quite cold.

Everything was perfect there

The massage was DISAPPOINTING. My husband and I took massages and they divided us in separate rooms. The female massage therapist(Monika) was very very BAD. She doesn’t know how to do massage. I paid for nothing. From the other side male massage therapist(Miro) from my husband experience was super super good.

Beautiful castle, not only for first view, but also the small details are nice. Our suite room was beautiful, as well, big enough, electric chimney, flexible TV, nice couch. Price is ridiculously low for such room. Fitness room is well equipped. Massage is excellent and cheap, too. The rooms are very well cleaned up every day.

The wellness area, with pool, whirpool, and sauna, is very small for so many guests. Many comments before liked the food. I would say it is OK. What I did not like that you can see that many things was probably stolen in the past, therefore, the bar in the room is empty, no houseshoe, not extra towels in fitness or wellness. In spite of all of these things, we come back again for sure.

Very good breakfast, nice pool, but hotel was getting full, then the pool is a bit small and no massages possible, as they were fully booked, but it did not seem there was more then one massage staff, which is a pitty for 60+ rooms. Staff very friendly. Nice woods as surroundings, good for a quiet holiday, as there is nothing at all in the direct surroundings

there is no T mobile or O2 signal at all, however internet was good.
