This property felt luxurious from the moment you walked. The layout is beautifully designed and the amenities are 10/10. The rooftop pool is a whole vibe in itself - I could spend all day getting drinks people watching LAs finest

as a solo traveler, I will say my experience at the hotel restaurant Merois was decent. I had a reservation for 8pm and wasn’t seated until 9. and I feel like this was because I was only 1 person, but that shouldn’t of made me less a priority. The staff also cleared off my table when I went to the restroom

We booked this hotel as a base for exploring LA while visiting for a show at the Peacock Theatre and it was pretty close to perfect. Starting with the location, its on the hills in West Hollywood, and on its front door is a bus stop for the 2 Bus, which goes all up and down Sunset Boulevard. Super handy if you want to get to places like the Chinese Theatre / Downtown in one direct or Santa Monica beach in the other direction. When we arrived at the hotel, it has beautiful decor and the staff are incredibly friendly. Without the bus stops the location is a bit out of the way if you dont drive, but its a nice area and LA is so massive that any hotel could be considered "out of the way" if your not right next to where you need to go. The hotel is at the top of quite a large hill too as a heads up for those who enjoying walking. The receptionist ran through a list of amenities that some of which were available that we weren't aware of, but are amazing. These include a rooftop pool, a cinema room showing select films each evening, a two lane bowling alley in the basement, an on site spa with treatments and the ability to rent a car (a Cadillac no less!) at no charge from the hotel for up to 4 hours (LA is not walkable at all overall, so this is good for drivers). All these great features were a surprise to us, but really made the hotel feel special. The restaurant for dinner / breakfast is on the roof with beautiful views of LA, and is heated during the night in case it gets windy. The room was a great size, clean and perfect for a stay. It included a range of paid amenities and a fridge available for use for free. The hotel staff were always willing to help with local information and tips and they seemed to have a 24/7 reception / door staff service. Overall the hotel made our trip a fantastic stay, and if we were to visit LA in this particular area we would definitely look to come back

- The location is so great. There are restaurants and bars around and one of the best comedy clubs right across the road! - The staff are so friendly and helpful - The facilities are great - Roof top pool, Bowling Alley (though we didn't use) - Beautiful interiors

- The steam room in the spa wasn't very strong and the shower pressure was not very strong. That could be improved! - I am not too sure about the small bottle water. It would be good to have a water refill station next to the citrus tea. Though the bottle water is free, creating so much plastic wastage seems bit unnecessary to me.

Wow, what an amazing place. If you are contemplating about booking here - JUST DO IT! It’s amazing. From the moment you enter, it’s so beautiful, the staff are so lovely and will help you by any means. It all looks exactly like the pictures, new, fresh and clean! The location is also amazing. Close to everything in the western end/ Beverly Hills. They have some fun ping pong and bowling too. Not to mention the historic house of blues that sat here many years ago! I loved our stay here. Thank you so much to the Pendry. We’ll definitely be back.

Having arrived in LA at the last minute we decided to book the Pendry due to issues with our current booking. We arrived to the hotel within an hour of booking and the check in process was efficient and extremely welcoming. The room itself was of a very high standard with amazing views across LA and very much to a 5 star standard. The property was in an amazing location on sunset blvd and also had a really gym and amazing roof top pool and restaurant. This was our first experience at a Pendry hotel and we certainly will be using these again. Overall an amazing expereince.

The cleaning staff misplaced my sons soft toy with the bedding and it is now lost

The hotel itself is beautiful, so we’ll thought out in terms of decor and styling. The room we had was perfect for us given we had an 18 month old - there was enough room to run around. The bathroom was immaculate (no bath which wasn’t ideal with the baby but the shower was amazing). Staff were all incredibly polite and would have a chat vs other places where staff seem more entitled. The valet service was also brilliant albeit pretty expensive.

The location is West Hollywood is t great, it’s on a main road and even though we were on the 10th floor, the traffic noise was still pretty loud. Although LA isn’t really a walking city we had hoped to be able to walk to a few bars and restaurants but the area wasn’t good for that. It’s a bit of a drive anywhere given the traffic levels in LA.

The hotel was very excellent. The location is very great and safe. Amazing staff everyone was very friendly and welcoming and the room service was really good. We had a lovey stay. We were able to use the hotel cars and rent free for 4 hours a day which was very fun.

There are so many taxes to be paid but I guess this is in the entire USA. Large amount of deposit was withdrawn as they do not accept to have it in cash. Only one incident I didn’t like if that I noticed one of my items was missing in my room and I believe it was it taken and I have informed the hotel they just apologized about it and my item was never returned.

The Pendry is a fantastic hotel located on Sunset Boulevard. It's a modern hotel with a cool LA vibe. There is a chic roof top bar and Asian fusion restaurant which sit beside the roof top pool that overlooks the city. We didn't have much interaction with the staff but they were polite, courteous and attentive whenever we did. The bedroom was lovely - the bed was extremely comfy and we loved the powerful shower!

There was nothing that we didn't like about this hotel but don't expect your room to be overly large. Our room was 360sq.ft and ample and I guess typical of a city centre hotel room. The ground floor bar closed at 5pm which we thought strange and was a shame because it looked great - the roof top bar is open until late so this was only a first world problem!

Stunning hotel in prime location on Sunset Blvd in a West Hollywood. Amazing art installations in the lobby. rooftop bar, pool and restaurant were fantastic with sweeping view of LA. Room was comfortable and nice big shower and bathroom.

A little pricey, but it is a prime location.
