location is very good

It was a really spacious well presented room in a good location. A good walk to Hollywood Blvd and easy distance to the Sunset Strip. I thought it was quite good value for money, well present considering I was barely there. I'd recommend it over Hollywood Guest Inn where I'd stayed previously and I would definitely conduct staying at Sunset West again

It was only really a place to sleep but it was a well presented hotel considering budgets. So no real criticism.

Reception staff were friendly. Security was very reassuring. Location was good. The breakfast was decent as well and the staff were helpful.

Not enough room in the breakfast area. Had to pay 50 dollars for early check-in which was a bit dissapointing. Because of the location, there were a lot of emergency vehicles passing through so the noise levels outside were extremely loud at night. Obviously not the hotels fault but it is disruptive.

I liked the location, the cleanliness of everything, and the breakfast, which was just right. An in-room mini-fridge is ideal for picking up a few items at the nearby Ralph’s market. Morning sun + cawfee by the pool = calm start. Sunset sun + Rosé wine by the pool = relaxed closing.

One thing hotel ownership needs is for management to have a choice not to change bed sheets for anyone who has an extended stay. Let's save water!

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good. The location was good for seeing Hollywood.

Alot of commotion from the next room. Shouting and swearing, that was the first night. Last night, someone was being voilently sick outside the room, and then you could hear them most of the night. Plus more shouting and swearing. I can't blame the hotel for what the other guests do. Car park is very tight, but we managed. Would I stop again, would depend on price etc.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were really nice and comfortable. Staff responded quickly and were very polite when we thought we had an issue with the sink - there was no issue, we were just a bit clueless. The breakfast provided was great and it was only a 10-15 minute walk away from the walk of fame and there are several food places and convenience stores on the same road within a 5-10 minute walk which was very useful.

The walls were very thin and we could hear what everyone around us was doing, it’s also quite close to the busy road so you’ll hear cars all night, however this didn’t bother me.

Clean, great location for walking to Hollywood Blvd, quite, decent water pressure, tv channels were decent for late night tv. Didn’t really interact with the staff to much but when I did they were very helpful.

The breakfast could have been a little better. The eggs were not very good, the bacon was very soggy and not crispy at all, the sausage made my boyfriend sick, the waffles had a funny taste. The fruit was very good and the bagels were good. The orange juice was delicious but the coffee was terrible, not enough creamer could help it.

The location was walking distance to everything. The one downfall was the homeless. It's hard to enjoy yourself when people are sleeping on rhe streets and walking in on the property trying to get a free breakfast.

The fact that the homeless/crazies can just walk onto the property. I'm from. NY and understand that homelessness is a big issue. However you have camps outside your window with no security for your customers. There should be a gate where you use your key to get in. Just a suggestion.

Clean room, would have liked a reading light by the bed some people still read paperbacks. They had a nice little pool. The front of house staff were very friendly, we felt very welcome. The breakfast was nice a varied, although the could do with a little more seating. you do hear street noises, but it didn’t bother us. The location was quite good, with a big supermarket across the road and a laundrette close buy. Parking at the back , and bus stop near by.

Nothing we can complain about. A night light by the bed would be nice and as said above some more seating for breakfast.

Nice and clean

A nice and homeless person came in and grabbed breakfast. I mean this could be seen as nice but it also could scare people because they might could be high or maybe didn’t clean themselves enough and touch everything. I’m just talking about diseases - maybe you could support homeless people in another way in doing a separate breakfast for them? Hotel visitors could also support with some extra fees.
