Very cool location, if you like it a bit different. The hotel is located next to a big park and is basically surrounded by the harbor (the beach is close geographically, but you need a car or Uber to get there 10-15min). The sunsets look epic, especially when fisherboats are leaving the harbor at the same time. I personally really liked that. If you want to go to the center of Aveiro, take an Uber for 7-10€ or go with you own car. It is a 10-15 minunte drive. The rooms are basic and ment for sleeping, not much more. I didn’t care about that because I wanted to go on daytrips in the area and learn how kitesurfing works. I recommend this place to people who are tolerant towards doing things differently and like a relaxed atmosphere (one time we sat by a bonfire with the hotel staff and someone played the guitar). I don’t recommend this place to peoeple who want a standard hotel room that is right in the middle of the city.

The quaint small hotel is situated on the doorstep of a working port surrounded by interesting architecture and historic buildings one of which is a church that opens once a year to remember the dead fisherman.The place and area has character including the attentive staff that treat you with smiles and good manners. If the bar is closed you are welcome to help yourself to the drinks and are trusted to tick a box for what you take so l enjoyed that courtesy.Breakfast was fresh and quick too arrive the international staff are flexible working in a relaxed way but professional .l would describe the environment as an interesting Portuguese experience well worth a visit so go and enjoy. It feels like a cross between a good active hostel and small hotel with both attractions.

I really enjoyed my stay at My Way Kite and Surf. From the moment I entered the hotel I was met with very helpful and friendly staff. Overall I felt it was homely and welcoming budget hotel with a upbeat vibe and energy. The room was airy and bright and clean and quiet.Theres great water sports facilities available and a great bar with lively music and entertainment. A tasty and generous breakfast was included in the price, which was served by a lovely young couple, Annie and Santiago . The hotel is situated near a port and there are lovely walks and views of the water. I really enjoyed my stay at My Way Kite and Surf and would recommend to travelers of all ages to stay to enjoy the nearby picturesque beaches, bars and restaurants.

The hotel is a short Uber ride from the main beach areas. But Uber service is cheap and quick, just a 5 to 10 min trip.

A small and very personable surf hotel in a quaint and secluded part of Aveiro's old waterfront. Although not so close to the beach, it suited our needs just fine. The young multi-culti staff was the hit, and the barbecues with DJ that they set up outside in the evenings suited the vibe of the place well. Probably more known amongst the surfing community than anything else, but as non-surfers in our 50s we enjoyed it greatly. Breakfast was freshly made to order and excellent!

Bed was a little hard, but ok

Great place and location (not in the city centre), quiet and easy to park. The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate. I asked for some ice to have a drink in my bedroom and at the bar, I was given a bucket load :) The room was comfortable and warm. I will definitely return at some point.

Shame the bar is not open at night but seems that there's a dispute with the council regarding licences. The hotel was given a licence to start with, only to see it taken away for no apparent reason. Welcome to Portugal and bureaucracy :(

We were bike touring in Portugal and this little hotel was right on the Eurovelo route close to the ferry. The facility was lovely, close to a park, with a common sitting area downstairs. Rooms are small but completely functional and comfortable. Very good value. Extremely friendly staff with excellent English.

No restaurants nearby - you could probably bring your own food and use the kitchen.

Good location between town and beaches and had a bar next door and plenty of parking. Small room but comfortable. Helpful staff. Offered lots of water sports activities.

Had to drive to go anywhere

The staff is welcoming, available, trying their best to help and satisfy their guests. You feel good the second you walk in. The room was comfortable.

Really nice place with a staff team that felt more like a community, met some cool people and they set me up with a surf lesson with Off Shore surfschool during my stay which was great. They have a communal BBQ on Saturdays and this time on Sunday too! Would recommend checking it out :)
