The location and the staff who served us in the restaurant

The extremely noisy children who appeared to be in the pool until very late. The sound travelled to our room and made sleep difficult. We would also have liked to have had an hour in the spa but could only have 2 hours for €20 each. As it closed at 8pm and we wanted to get something to eat after driving up from Rome, we would have loved a shorter time in the spa for half the money as it was too expensive to go for a short time to fit around a meal.

Great place to spend a relaxing time. I highly recommend massage and beauty treatments! Just amazing and extremely relaxing! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast and good food in the hotel restaurant. Hotel room was spacious with a large terrace. It takes about 15 minutes car ride to get to Varese. I can highly recommend this place

Nice location with a great view. The hotel and room were very clean, and the staff was very polite. The restaurant served delicious food. The general interior of the hotel was okay. However, it was disappointing to find out upon arrival that kids are not allowed in the swimming pool. Unfortunately, it was out oversight.

The mini bar only had water, and we were charged €2 per bottle.

For a one night stop driving from Germany to Tuscany this was perfect. It had a restaurant attached for dinner that was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a pretty extensive gym in the basement level that we used and i absolutely loved. Breakfast buffet in the morning was also quite tasty and had a good amount of options with all fresh foods!

Quiet and clean. Good location, near the train station, just at the boarder with Switzerland. Nice outdoor surroundings. I haven't tried the spa.

Train or your own car is really the way to move around since no taxis nor uber are really operating in the area.

The room was dated, but very clean and comfortable beds. The restaurant on site serves excellent fish dishes and superb pizzas for a good price. Breakfast buffet had a very good variety. Staff very kind and accomodating.

There was no possibility to give individual staff members a tip. It all goes to the owner and then gets divided. I would much rather just tip the person that worked for it in that moment. I guess times are changing.

Very nice hotel, nice room with terrace and Hängematte outside, giant bathroom, very clean, very cosy and comfortable bed, nice landscape, close to Varese and Como, ideal for crossing the border to Switzerland, nice shopping places and restaurants and bars nearby.

Unfortunately the pool was closed because of restorations.

The room was spacious and clean and facing the garden so it was quiet too. The location was convenient as I needed to go to Switzerland frequently. The restaurant was also good and there was enough parking space too.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and the evening meal in the restaurant was good and affordable.

We were told (by another website) there was airconditioning on the rooms, but there wasn;t. Its not the property's fold but false info on another website.

Very friendly welcome. Large room with comfortable beds and convenient bathroom. All very clean. While we did not use the spa, we really loved the restaurant in the hotel, excellent food and wines at fair prices. Location was very convenient for a one night stay on our way to Italy. Would absolutely return

Interior design of room just ok .... recently refurbished i.e. not run down but not 100% my taste
