Good location near the beach, marina, shops, ferry, 13 min drive to central Hobart. Comfortable apartment for the 4 of us. Clean and well maintained. Lovely view. Offsite parking with power in the parking area for electric vehicle. Elevator Secure access. Hosts were very responsive when we couldn't get a window to open and our key stopped working. Tv with Chromecast worked perfectly well so we could watch our own streaming services.

The noise from the compressors at the back of dan Murphys next door were extremely loud. We couldn't have the balcony door open. I had to wear noise cancelling headphones to sit on the balcony. The carpark downstairs has a lot of poles and the parks are very narrow. Hard to navigate when it's crowded.

Check in and out was super easy. Communication before and during stay was exceptional. Clear instructions to check in and how to use facilities. They checked in on us via message to see if anything else was needed. Everything has been thought of and we did not need anything extra. Even extra towels were already provided! The apartment was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Close to Hobart city without being in the thick of busy city life. Just a quick car trip away. Being close to the wharf was handy as there are plenty of places to eat with excellent coffee.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this accommodation, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the staff had great communication, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing all the amenities I could possibly need. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. I especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, which made for a relaxing getaway. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I would definitely return for another stay! Five stars all the way!

Knowing we booked accommodation with stairs and having a busy toddler was a bit silly of me, but maybe having a retractable baby gate at the top of the stairs would be good. But definitely no big deal!

We stayed in Apartment 7 for a few days. No complaints – the apartment was easily accessible by lift, a short drive from the airport and Hobart CBD, and a short walk from the Bellerive waterfront, restaurants, supermarket, bakery, etc. Can't find fault with the apartment. The rooms, linens, towels, floors, cupboards, etc, were all super clean and the place smelled fresh when we arrived. Emily the host was easy to communicate with and helpful. Loved the spacious balcony with patio furniture and a view of Mt Wellington.

The beds in the rooms were comfortable, but the sofa bed, not so much (although the sofa itself was comfortable to sit on). And a couple of cooking utensils had not been washed properly (there was dried food stuck on it from the previous guests' cooking), but it wasn't a big deal, we just rewashed them.

Everything went very well. Very responsive and helpful hosts. Very clean apartment with super comfy beds and pillows. Easy access to the upper floor apartments from the ground entrance via an elevator. Awesome view of Mt Wellington from the balcony. Supermarket was a few hundred metres up the road to pick up essentials. A very short walk down the road to Victoria Esplanade along the water front with an even better view of Mt Wellington. Eateries nearby. Chemist nearby. Easy to locate and access. Only 15 mins from Hobart Airport. Easy access into Hobart and surrounds.

The parking spaces underneath the apartments are extremely small and narrow, suitable only for very small cars (maybe this should be mentioned in the advertising). It made it quite difficult to get in and out of the vehicle. There was no tea towel or hand towel in the kitchen for drying dishes or hands. The tail rail in the lovely large bathroom is located a long way away from the shower, so you had a cold, wet, slippery run over to get your towel afterwards. Also there are no hooks for hanging your clothes in the bathroom (for when you get dressed out of the shower), so you need to put them on the toilet or on the floor. Hooks just outside the shower would have been helpful for both towels and clothes.

The location was ideal. Easily in walking distance of shops,restaurants and great walks around the bay. Property was well maintained and equipped. My family and myself had travelled over from Melbourne to visit a young nephew , who is terminally ill, for his birthday . Most of our family members are located on the Eastern Shore so it was ideally situated. The whole experience of our stay at the apartments was seamless ,arrival and departure both. The only detail I could fault with the accommodation is the stair access to our apartment, which could be an issue for guests with a mobility problem. I will definitely be returning, as it was also great value for money in comparison to other accommodation we have used in the area. Next time ,I'll request a ground floor apartment though 😅😅

Lovely apartment,very clean and quaint. The beds are comfortable,as was the lounge suit. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare your meals. We had a lovely stay and would definitely consider staying again. Emily was very efficient in answering any questions,and she was very helpful in offering us a late checkout, at short notice! Thankyou ❤️

The under cover Carpark!! Lol.. I think I speak for all the marks on the pillars left by previous visitors! 😄 One other thing? Maybe a few rugs in the living space to give it that homely feel. That would be a nice touch,but no biggy.

Large bright apartment with generous balcony area in quiet location with all appliances, towels, linen, etc. supplied. Emily and her team were terrific. They emailed all the details of the property, location, access, etc. prior to our arrival. They also sent a welcome email on the day we arrived and told us to contact them if we needed any assistance. There was a Guest Information Manual further details and operating instructions in relation to the property and details of all local amenities, shopping, restaurants, bus timetables etc in the apartment We would highly recommend staying at The Kangaroo Apartments.

We stayed 4 adults for 2 nights in apartment 3. It is a very large 2 bedroom apartment, with recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms. Laundry was a bonus and the beds were comfortable. Great communication from the property manager. Fantastic sized balcony and rear patio with a BBQ. Supermarket, shops and restaurants just a few minutes walk away. Great to have onsite parking.

The whole apartment could have done with painting as the walls appeared quite scratched and dirty. Would have liked a 2nd set of keys and a coffee machine. Apartment was a little further from Hobart CBD than I had realised.

The Apartment had everything I could possibly want and was very clean and comfortable. All the kitchen appliances you could need if you chose to cook. It was lovely having so much room and a big balcony. Thoughtful window coverings to keep out sun, good airconditioned living room. Salamanca Fresh grocery store 150m away which is also next to a great coffee shop, Dan Murphy's next door, bus stop close by to go into Hobart. Close to all the beautiful walks that Clarence Foreshore has to offer.

The air conditioner does not reach the bedrooms, so, if you sleep hot like me, a portable fan/ceiling fan would have helped. However, the lounge is also a sofa bed so you could sleep out there if it was too hot. Lots of linen provided.
