The location was great, right near Salamanca and Constitution Dock. Parking available on site was good as there is not a lot of on street parking. Staff were friendly and efficient.

The hotel has a 5 star rating however the overall room presentation and fittings were less than expected for that rating. Window furnishings were basic and run down, air-conditioning was only in the living area with no airflow into the bedroom, and a small portable heater was the only heating available outside of the living area. The furnishings did not create an inviting space, one couch, and a small table and chairs that left an enormous amount of space unused, it felt empty. The "king bed" was 2 singles with a definite join down the middle.

We were given a totally unexpected room upgrade 😊 Our room was neat and very clean, quiet and with a peaceful outlook of leafy, green trees and a park. The location was perfect, as we were in close proximity to the Salamanca/Hobart Wharf/Battery Point areas and all the wonderful eateries available. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful.

At first we found the idea of the car stacker parking system a little daunting, but we had to admire the patience of our receptionist in walking us through the instructions to park and retrieve our car, a RAV4 Cruiser, which fit perfectly in the space provided!

The young lady behind the counter was extremely helpful. (This was our second time here) We got a carpark free, and we were able to stay a bit longer after checkout, in the carpark because the market was on. Great little balcony yo have a drink and watch the world go by. Place is clean, has great facilities, is close proximity to the wharf and markets, beds comfortable, and you can hardly hear any noise outside or inside. Having a fridge and kitchenette was extremely great when we arrived the first time, as we got in so late, everything was shut,.so we bought some food at Woolies and heated it in the microwave. Great place to stay

It is on the high price side. Our second stay was a Friday night (little bit cheaper during the week), and was $325 for the night. But if you can, it is well worth the pennies, as it has everything. We loved both our stays. And we would have liked a wardrobe and somewhere to put our suitcases. But because it was quite roomy, there was space on the floor, just got in the way a bit.

Exceptional staff at reception who was extremely friendly and welcoming. Great parking facility. Room smelt clean and beautiful when entering. Very spacious room, ideal for someone with disability. However they would need assistance to reach top cupboards in kitchen. All supplies in kitchen and stocked mini bar. Nice free plunger coffee. Large bathroom with really good lighting which was appreciated. Also all amenities and plenty of towels. Fabulous area and very convenient to Salamanca. Downstairs cafe available. Would stay here again.

Bed wasn’t to partner’s liking but I thought it was fine. Nice and big.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. We did have some challenges locating the hotel after being dropped off at the wharf (by tour bus) and given vague directions to walk there. It was a one night stay after the 3 capes hike so we were seeking a mix of comfort, location and a touch of luxury. These were met.

That there was no-one at reception, (we were a late check-in and early check-out) however understand this is the nature of this type of accommodation. Nowhere for luggage storage (we were kindly assisted with Pennicott Wilderness Tours for the day of check-out, since we had utilised their transport services during our Tasmania trip). No bathtub.

The location was terrific and the room was quite good

I am pretty sure we booked a room with a view of city or Garden. We were sent a TXT a couple of days out offering a Balcony for $5 more and I agreed. What we got was a balcony grided in with steel and what view we got was an old building on top of this it was right on the road as was very noisy. Not even a chair out there to sit on. Mirrors in bathroom are at split heights thus being short all we saw was our forehead in the top mirror. Car stacker is ok but slow Not good enough for a return visit

Spotless, spacious apartment with great kitchen, bathroom, comfy bed and pillows. Lovely towels and linen. Cafe downstairs was convenient with great coffee.

The air con was in the living area…the bedroom became a bit hot with the door closed. A fan would have been welcome. There was a window that could be opened but it was right next to a walkway and people climbing up and down the stairs, talking etc made it a noisy option. The location of the apartment I was in made it a bit noisy at times with local cafes and restaurants emptying their garbage and bottles etc, late at night especially on garbage collection day. Just an unfortunate necessity. The hotel itself was mostly very quiet overnight.

Terrific location in Salamanca, very friendly and helpful staff, well-appointed comfortable spaces, complimentary coffee, tea, minibar, parking, daily room servicing. Everything was super easy and convenient.

Out of hours check-in arrangements - took a bit of time to sort out - this perhaps could have been automatically email instead of us having to call in.

A lovely location close to everything that we needed. Rom was spotlessly clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was fantastic :-) Having the use of kitchen facilities and a washer/dryer was a bonus.

There was a few hours of hammer drilling going on in a room near ours. A lot of noise. Would not have minded but we had a very busy morning and went back to the room to relax and nap, but couldn't due to the level of noise. Would have preferred to have been contacted to advise this was going to occur and we would have made other arrangements. That's was just a fatigue thing for us. But just wanted to bring to your attention that we were not notified of this beforehand.

Location was excellent, late arrival access was efficient & easy. Knowledgeable staff, able to assist with each of f our requests.

The decor was very pleasing & quite well updated. Unfortunately the couch was so uncomfortable even with cushions. A minor dislike, well aware it’s a personal choice too.
