Hotel Keindl meets all of my criteria: 1) Family run, 2) CLEAN, 3) Restaurant, 4) Bier Garden, 5) In-House Butcher Shop. I was very pleased on all counts, plus my room was large and very quiet. The included Breakfast has an excellent selection including some of their own meats ! Breakfast room is large and bright with plenty of room for moving around the breakfast offerings. There was a person on duty checking me in to the breakfast and directing me where to sit. Very helpful too. Dinner was very good. The servers were attentive and orders were correct. There is a Brass Band Headquarters/Clubhouse directly across the street from the Bier Garten, very convenient and they played from around 6pm till 9pm. A very nice plus ! Laundry service was excellent and a 1 day turn-around, plus very reasonably priced. Parking was available on-site and close to an access walkway you have access to with your room passkey. Staff speak English, and were very pleasant and helpful. They keep some very good candies in the tray/dish on the Reception counter.

There was some noisy construction going on early (7am) in the morning, but they were done early in the afternoon too. The Hotel is expanding a little which explains the construction., but there was minimal interference with my stay. It was very warm, and no A/C made it seem worse than it was. I opened the balcony door and window and it was very tolerable.

The hotel is in a great location and has clean rooms and overall is well-kept. They built a new part onto the existing hotel to include wellness and spa area and will have an opening celebration next weekend. I was able to check some of the area and it looked stunning. I saw that they now also have a ski-garage. The breakfast and restaurant area as well as the "Biergarten" were comfortable and the food was great. They also have vegetarian food on the menu. Their staff is very friendly and always ready to accomodate your personal needs. I had my bike with me and was able to just hop on it and explore the area without having to drive the car.

The rooms are not soundproof so I heard lots of noise coming from the room above me or besides me until late at night. It didn't really bother me but I wanted to mention it for the sensitive ears out there. It might be better in the new area, however.

Excellent service! Reception staff is exceptionally helpful, genuinely friendly. The first night I came late and the girl in the restaurant was very kind to fix a dinner for me, thou the kitchen was almost closed. I have lost a small ring and the girl at the reception was helping me to look for it and found it ( she spoke perfect Spanish too!). The gentleman waiter in the restaurant was very professional, despite me not speaking German he was advising me the best dishes. Food was excellent, so I had lunch and dinner there everyday of my stay.

The rooms are comfortable and neat, and spacious. Balconies are great. The breakfast is good, but the variety and quality is a bit lower than similar stays elsewhere in Germany.

There was construction right next door during our stay, and scaffolding next to the windows (directly up to the windows). This also caused excessive noise during the day. Although this is not the hotel's problem, it did impact the comfort negatively.

Very nice house and decoration, beautiful room in warm colors and big comfy bed. The restaurant provided a big choice of tasteful food. We liked the quiet location and the possibility for a walk in the nature after arrival.

The waitress in the restaurant seemed a bit overworked and was not really attentive. The bathroom in general was very clean, but only to a height of about 1m80...

It was all good, clean, comfortable, good staff. Good breakfast with tasty foods. The location is great who loves nature, biking etc.

During my stay was construction renovation in the building, and it property has not informed during booking or with booking confirmation.

Absolutely lovely hotel in every aspect. Loved, how they present the local history and values through the details throughout the building.

The renovation works at the hotel were a bit noisy, but this is only temporary inconvenience.

Cozy Hotel with very nice Biergarten. Very good breakfast. Although there is not a garage they offered me a cover place for my motorbike. Rooms quite big and comfortable, including a terrace with nice views to the mountains.

What a nice little gem! We stayed only for one night, on the way to Austria but we wished we could have stayed more. The location is great for exploring the area and even for skiing. It was snowing when we were there and it took us only 2 minutes by car to go to the Hocheck for some hours of fun in the snow. The restaurant is very good, serving fresh traditional dishes (at the location there is also a Butcher's shop). Would definitely come back!

I considered the mattress too soft, but this is of course personal preference
