It was very adequate in size. Although it was close to the road, it was very quiet. Regular cleaning was done every day. The products in the room, such as shampoo and body gel, were of very high quality. They had put small gifts in our room specially for December 31st, it was a very nice thought. The hotel building was very well-maintained and clean. The furniture was carefully selected. Everything was in harmony. The hotel garden was also very well-maintained.

The hotel staff was incompetent in some issues. The gentleman working at the reception (unfortunately I don't know his name) gave us very good information about the city and was very helpful. However, the other staff were unsuccessful. It took 15 minutes to bring just 1 bottle of water. Since everything was closed on January 1, we asked for something to eat at 11:30. We knew that breakfast ended at 11, but they were not at all helpful, even though they had the opportunity to find an alternative solution. In addition, I think it is unreasonable to charge a fee for hotel guests to use the car park.

The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Room service was very prompt. the breakfast was abundant and delicious. I love that we received Spanish related cuisine such as fresh orange juice and a little jar of gazpacho. The bed was big and comfortable.

Being English, I always like to have tea in the morning, so perhaps a kettle with larger cups and teabags would have been nice. I ordered tea as part of room service. I am also used to having an iron and ironing board in the room but it was brought to the room very quickly once I had asked for it.

Beautiful, property and luxurious stay - would stay again as we loved San Seb and the hotel. Great location - 10 min walk to surfing beach. 20ish min walk to old town. The man who checked us in was so kind and helpful, which was a lovely start to our stay. Staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the free use of bikes!

The only thing to say was one of our bike tyres blew up when we were using it was quite scary. When we assessed, all the tyres were pumped up with far too high PSI. We got it fixed in town for €7 which was totally fine with us. When back at hotel we told the person at reception - they told us that they had maintenance for such things and there wasn’t an acknowledgment of our inconvenience. They had to check with management before reimbursing the cost to us (which they did after checking). I just felt like we’d done the wrong thing when really it was an issue of theirs... Other than that, brilliant stay.

We were visiting on our honeymoon so we stayed in the treehouse… upon arrival we found multiple used dirty towels and a used dirty robe from the guests before us- we alerted staff when we left for dinner, when we got back to the room a few hours later the dirty towels and robe were still in the room. We did not appreciate the lack of effort, especially since we were there to celebrate our special honeymoon. The dirty towels and robe were not addressed for another 24 hrs. Disappointed in the customer service, especially since we made the point to tell the front desk about the dirty used towels when we found them.

The hotel is gorgeous, beautifully appointed, well maintained and service exceptional. Every detail is taken care of and/or addressed. The room was very comfortable, shower great and there were many places around the hotel to sit, read, and enjoy. The breakfast area also serves a small dinner menu that was lovely. Very good wifi. Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

not much. just an issue with plug next to bed so no electricity that side, but really nothing of note.

- The restaurant menu was not enough for dining. If so, we would spend more time in the hotel :) - A bluetooth speaker may be added to the room for escalating the experience more to create a homelike feeling.

The hotel is small and luxurious, perfectly located in a lush environment, just a few steps of the city center. It consists of a 19th century villa, which has been carefully converted into a charming hotel, totally respecting the architectural history of both the dwelling and the area, fully meeting though the requirements of contemporary accommodation. The rooms are elegantly decorated and so are the plenty common areas for the visitors to enjoy. The staff (no exception) has been totally professional, yet very friendly, providing high level services and hospitality. You really feel very comfortable in all areas and under all circumstances when interacting with the hotel members. A free upgrade of our selected room enhanced to the maximum the enjoyment of this lovely hotel. We thank you all for making our trip to San Sebastian unforgettable!

Beautiful respite away from downtown in a quiet neighborhood- which is nice to add to a mix of Old Town stays and busy Centros. The service was impeccable- and very professional- you know you are in a place where they want you to feel welcome. Pablo was a fantastic concierge who went above and beyond to help.

Being away from the busy part of town is a blessing but it also makes one feel slightly isolated- so it depends on what you are in the mood for!

The superb and well trained staff, the location, sufficiently distant from the San Sebastián buzz, and the very special property. Very convenient car park on the premises (which in previous times had been free!). Very pleasant breakfast - nothing really unique but excellent nevertheless. Comfortable bed. Tasteful decor throughout the hotel. Hot water is very hot - excellent for the chaps who shave!!

Absolutely nothing - we loved it on previous visits but love it even more after our last visit!
