Well located, modern and comfortable. Good value for money related to other hotels in San Sebastián which tend to be expensive. Good coffee machine and some muffins in reception. My room had fridge, safe and was generally well designed.

There is limited cover of reception staff mainly to morning, hence check in is by a code they message to you - I would prefer to be greeted by a real person. Also they send you a link to pay in advance, I would prefer that payment is taken through Booking as I have had scam messages sent to me from other hotels in past so felt uncomfortable about paying this way.

We had a very pleasant stay. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, which made for a restful night's sleep each day. The location of the property was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants, making it convenient to explore the area. Additionally, the property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort of the stay. The host or management team provided timely updates and clear communication throughout the booking process and during the stay, which made everything smooth and hassle-free. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would happily stay here again!

The coffee at the lobby could be better.

Great location close to Zurriola beach(just 5 minutes,that was the main reason why i chose the hotel). We really appreciated free coffee/tea/muffin-that was really great and it saved our day(s) :) nice rooms,good and fast communication with the stuff (they recommended me urgent care as i have small knee injury). They were able to store our baggage. Would definitely come back and could recommend!

Only minor negative thing was that the emergency exit light was turned on all the time and when it was dark in the room you were always able to see the small green pictogram :) but this was not that serious issue and probably it is somehow required for hotels to have it

Incredibly handy location, easy walk from main bus station and perfect for exploring all parts of the city. Supermarkets and bakeries close by, and the free coffee in the lobby was a nice bonus.

The bathrooms are small and would be tricky if you're a larger person - big pillar in the middle meant manouvering was tricky! Make sure you've checked your check in details for your access code (messaged or emailed to you) before arriving if you'll be getting there after 2 pm, when the reception desk closes.

Light, clean and modern room with restful view over the courtyard at the back. Large and comfortable bed. Excellent location on a quiet street and close to the old town and beaches.

Make sure you’re aware it’s a small to medium room with no on site facilities other than hot drinks in the lobby. This suited us fine. There is reception in the morning and by phone. Outside that entrance on arrival was by key code sent in advance. Communication was excellent and we were happy with the arrangement.

Location was good (easy to move around, beautiful beaches, old town, river, restaurants and shops close by), room was little but nice, clean and beds were comfortable. Good instructions via Whatsapp for entrance code and parking. Coffee machine in the lobby.

We never saw staff. The stairs were hollow(?) and thus pretty noisy -> one can’t avoid hearing people come and go. No black tea at the ”lobby café” to be had at the time we visited hotel.

Great location, lots of restaurants and shops and a short walk over to the old town or bus station. The staff on reception were really friendly and helpful. Check-in and out were easy and we were able to leave our bags in a secure location after checkout. Room was nice and clean and it was lovely to be able to open the balcony doors. I'm glad we got the larger room as this is a good size and gives you space to move around and to put your suitcases. Coffee and muffins downstairs were appreciated!

Would be nice if the TV had the option to login to Netflix/other services but this does seem to be quite rare in Spain compared to hotels in other European countries I've stayed. The toilet is in between two walls and I think larger build people would struggle to comfortably sit there!

WelcomeGros Hotel the location is fantastic, Santa Katalina bridge is near by, easy walk to bus, train or city bus station, also to all three beaches and old town, I enjoyed all the nice shops and Basque specialty foods. The hotel is very new and room is spotless clean, large bathrooms, good shower with nice tub, staff are extremely helpful and provide excellent services, we stored our luggage for two hours after checkout, they have very nice luggage storage room. We love Gros neighborhood and highly recommend anyone to stay here.

The room was clean and modern, and the location is great being only a few minutes walk from the old town and the beach. The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided clear, helpful instructions for checking into the hotel. We were also very grateful for the free coffee machine in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable with very effective air conditioning.

The minibar/fridge wasn't very cold, but this wasn't a problem for us.

We really liked staying at the hotel and the character filled room was very comfortable, clean with a great large bathroom. The front desk lady was extremely helpful and friendly. All correspondence with the hotel was very professional. We had booked the hotel for its closeness to the main railway station and it was a good location for visiting the old town, beach & shops but also good for catching our early morning train.

The hotel had basic facilities with no breakfast available but had a free coffee station in the foyer which included free muffins.
