The bed was incredibly comfortable and having the robe and slippers in the room was a lovely added touch. Good size room with drinks facilities. A delicious and varied breakfast menu.

The tap over the sink in the bathroom leaked water over the counter when turning it on/off and operating it- it could’ve done with being located a little further over the bowl to avoid this happening. The spray jets in the shower- although lovely- sprayed water all over the toilet roll on the holder which left soggy loo roll- we just took the roll of the holder in the end.

Breakfast was amazing and the hosts couldn't do enough. Super friendly and overall the place is very clean and well kept.Location is perfect and parking was not an issue.

The room was small but we did know we were getting a small room. Just a bit cosy for a double bed and the bathroom was definitely cosy but had all you needed. This was a little pricey for the size of the room but not outrageous. Hence the happy with price.The rest of the experience made up for it.

Charming historic building, beautifully detailed. Friendly hosts. Superb breakfast (try the Grove House eggs). Nice touches such as fresh milk and water for your room. Free private parking. Very centrally located.

The room was beautifully appointed but a little small (and in my view, too small for two). I couldn’t make the heated towel radiator in the bathroom work. It had an electric shower, which I suspect is all that is possible in the building.

Had a great 2 night stay at Grove House. The accomodation was very tastefully decorated which was a refreshing change for such a beautiful period property. Breakfast was excellent using locally sourced produce. Large comfortable bed with a garden view which was very pretty. Located just a few minutes walk to the centre of the town, with the added bonus of a parking space just behind the property.

Great attention to detail. Gorgeous toiletries and locally sourced food! The yogurt parfait for breakfast was delicious. Our room was an excellent size with fluffy towels, robes and slippers. Fresh milk in the room was a definite bonus. The hosts gave us really good information on where to eat locally too. We felt nothing was too much trouble. Jane who hosted at breakfast was professional and a delight. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was a shame that the bathroom was on the snug side but it had everything we needed. It certainly will not stop us revisiting!

Everything from checking in Dustin and Adrian are lovely hosts very organised, the cottage is beautifully and traditionally decorated/furnishing and very relaxing. Location of Grove House is perfect for strolling around the shops, pubs also easy to travel to other villages. Breakfast is very tasty with plenty of choice and great service.

Breakfast was copious and delicious. The beds were really comfortable. The house was lovely and warm as was the welcome. Grove House is really well positioned just off the main market square.

Everything was really very lovely. The only negative was a lack of a plug within reach of a mirror for my hot brush.

Had an amazing two night stay at The Grove House. Dustin was very welcoming and polite, he advised us where to eat/taxis/walks etc… the room was decorated beautifully and was very clean. Breakfast was SO good! The lady who served us breakfast was very lovely. Very good location and there is many pubs/restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed eating and drinking at The Bolton Arms, The Swan Hotel & Saffron (Indian restaurant) I would recommend all three.

Everything about Grove House was amazing, we had the small room but it was still plenty big enough for 2 of us for a long weekend. Bathroom came with all the toiletries you'd need, there were robes and slippers awaiting us, full tea and coffee table (they even gave me a few extra hot chocolate sachets) and fresh milk and water delivered to the room daily. Although the owners and staff don't live on site they were available within minutes when needed, our 3rd night was the start of the heatwave and we desperately needed a fan, they had one with us within 5 minutes of me asking. The breakfast was phenomenal. The views were amazing. The location blew us away, such a quaint little village but with everything you could ever need within their shops, cafes and pubs. Be warned, it's a country village so everything shuts early. Friday night we left the pub at 10.15 pm, all shops, restaurants and take aways had shut already. Leyburn is the perfect central location for accessing the treats and treasures of the Yorkshire Dale's. We travelled to Aysgarth Falls, forbidden corner, York Centre, and a few other walking stop offs, there is so much to do locally. We will definitely be back!

There were no faults at all!

Greeted with a warm welcome. Shown to our room after facilities explained. Provided with a large bottle of cold water and fresh milk each day. Room was clean, well furnished and well stocked with toiletries. Comfortable bed. Wonderful choices for breakfast. Can recommend the granola with yoghurt and fresh fruit and also the scrambled eggs. Plenty to eat. Recommendations were provided for places to eat, drink and visit. We can recommend the Wheatsheaf at Carperby, a small drive away and the Black Swan (within walking distance of the b&b). Can recommend Castle Bolton, Hawes, Grassington, Ayesgarth Falls and Skipton for day trips. Wonderful hosts and staff.
