steps / go to and from apartment need to move more thant 75 steps, very sharp and in hot is for heavy peoples realy uncomfortable. In apartment is a a lot of used equipment , for a lot of people could be after life circle 50 m from the beach ? no, no / 50 m is hotel Anna / extremely luxury

The view from the apartments is superb, you can hear the sea from the bedrooms. You share the view with Villa Sant'Andrea hotel, once frequented by Winston Churchill, Richard Burton and Liz Taylor. We could just sit and look at the view at all times of the day. Only 100 meters from the cable car that takes you into the center of Taormina in five minutes. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The proprietor, Giuseppe was a gem. Nothing was too much trouble. He met us on arrival, waved us off on departure. He arranged our pick up and dropping off at the airport.

Taormina and the surrounding villages are built on a hillside. It makes for beautiful and spectacular views. For those seeking exercise it is brilliant, for those less athletic steps and slopes can be a challenge.

A spacious and comfortable apartment with a great view. Stayed in the Ramona suite, and the 4 of us had a lot of room. Aircondition and washing machine made our stay very convenient and pleasant. Yes there are steps up to the rooms, but all of Taormina is steep, so this is expected. An elevator is being added, so scaffolding was up but no noice from workers during the stay. The host was very friendly and helpul with tips about what to do and where to go, and stored our luggage after check-out. Close to gondola and beaches, minimarkeds and restaurants.

Not a problem for us, but just be aware that there are many steps, some narrow.

I spent two nights and three days at ToviMar Apartments. The place is comfortable and cozy with a stunning view overlooking the sea. There are a few stairs to do to get to the place, but it's part of the charm of Taormina with its picturesque surroundings and unique hillside location. The host, Giuseppe, is friendly, present, and helpful. If you need anything, just ask him :)

Bizarrely enough, the apartment is not equipped with the most basic shower amenities, such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap, so, be advised to bring your own :) Also, although the kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine, there are not coffee capsules: just ask Giuseppe for them :)

Such nice experience to spend 3 days in this house! Taormina is already beautiful enough, but tovimar apartment just add something more to it! The apartment is clean and well equiped, and this makes me feel just like home. Thanks to the soft bed I could always take a rest after an exhausting day. From the balcony I have a direct view of the sea and the bay. The sound made by the wave slapping the beach is the best background music when I relax on the balcony. Also I want to emphasize the location of this apartment. It's so convenient, 1 minute walk from the cable car station, with which I can go to the upper town of Taormina to have dinner in countless restaurants. THE MOST IMPORTANT! Host of this apartment is so nice, friendly, and respectful. He's just like your trustful elder family member who is always ready to help and always comes with a warm smile. As I left the apartment, I left my glasses there. I was afraid that it might not be found, but the host found it, with patience. And even though it's something extra to do for him, he still send the glasses to Germany, to me. And it's well protected in bubble paper. That's so nice and kind of him. I don't know how to express my appreciation. So, I sincerely recommend tovimar apartment!

The apartment was clean, comfortable and we had an attentive owner. The view was the best from the apartment.

What I didn't like is that we had to climb very big stairs every day to get to the apartment. Since the main entrance had an elevator, it was a nightmare to walk along the stairs. We could not carry our luggage and the owner helped us. On the day of departure, we hired someone to bring our luggage.

View was lovely, apartment was clean, comfortable and well supplied. It was minutes away from the beautiful beaches at Isola bella, and also from the funivia (cable car) to go up to Taormina town (although beware the queues to go up at peak times in summer!). Also highly recommend the bar 2 mins from the apartment stairs, on the corner near the entrance to isola bella for breakfast or granite/gelati. It was a really lovely apartment to stay in, and perfect if you want to be able to eat in as well as out.

There was a very steep climb up a long set of steps to get to the apartments - not a problem while staying there really but arriving and leaving with suitcases and a young daughter was complicated and very hot- although we understand from the owners that a lift will be put in next year. (Also, clearly not within the control of the apartment at all, but it's a shame there is no direct bus from the train station to Mazzaro, which for us meant an expensive taxi over a very short distance when arriving and leaving).

Very charming apartment. Ideal location by the beach 2mn walk from Isola Bella. 2mn from the funicular so you can park your car there and don’t need to use your car at all during your stay. Terrasse with amazing view. You can enjoy with 2 lounge chairs and a table for your breakfasts and dinners. Simple but very comfortable with everything you need. Very convenient for a family. Great value for money. Giuseppe is here should you need anything. Just avoid big heavy luggage as you reach the appartement via quite a few steps. We left 2 suitcases in the car and only brought one with everything we needed for the stay. We loved the place and will come again!

Some things for example the towels were quite old and we had a problem with a light which kept me awake one night so can’t give it 10/10, but I would recommend this place.

The view is spectacular from the balcony. The flat is big for 4 people. Bedrooms and bedding were comfortable and air conditioning worked perfectly.

To access the flat you need to climb lots of stairs then go down few more stairs. It’s okay if you travel light, but we had big suitcases. Shower is not very watertight, water leaks and creates a puddle, which is not the best.
