The staff were pleasant and helpful, although we felt that more were needed during the evening, when there were arrivals and dinner service. Dinner was excellent and fairly priced, and breakfast was good.

The long wait in the dining room at dinner. Nobody knew where to find the buffet breakfast. The lift wasn’t working properly, although staff were happy to carry our luggage. Finishing work on the hotel would be a better idea than having all the art work displayed, and which seemed to jar with the elegance of the hotel.

We had a very nice stay with our little dog so the grounds were great for walking him out. The receptionist I think her name was Natalie was most helpful when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. We also left an item behind and they rang us to let us know. Luckily we really enjoyed our stay and will return end of Oct on our return journey home back to Spain and they will hold on to the item for us. Will use this hotel again on our trips between UK & Spain great access to Motorway plenty of parking. The restaurant was closed but Natalie recommended a great little restaurant just a few minutes drive away and the meal was excellent.

The only disappointment was that there was no toast available at breakfast !

A stunning property. This place is something special. It’s very well presented with quirky decor, big rooms, lovely gardens and overall an old and interesting property. The beds were huge with wonderful sheets and lovely big soft towels. We ate in the restaurant where the food was excellent and very well priced. A great wine list too! Very convenient to the motorway and parking right outside. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

It was perfect!

Perfectly located amongst the vineyards, with excellent air conditioning and a pool - a godsend in the hot weather, the main part of the chateau is quirkily furnished (Dick and Angel have a lot to answer for). We ate dinner outdoors in the shade of the trees - a lovely setting - and breakfast was comprehensive- at €15 pp. We spent a great day visiting Macon, Cluny and Lugny - and buying wine.

Unfortunately on the night we ate at the chateau it may have been that they were struggling with staffing issues. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, but the meal was not quite what we would have expected.

Handsome chateau building, Massive family suite. Comfortable beds, magnificent bathroom, good coffee making (you need to bring your own milk). Very dog-friendly. Nice grounds with attractive (summer-only) pool. Popular restaurant. Decent breakfast. Big commercial centre close by with excellent boulangeries etc

Noise travels in these old buildings so noisy families can be disturbing

Very friendly staff who made you feel very welcome. Breakfast was simple with limited choice but of everything was of very good and fresh quality, so in the end it was better than in most other 5* hotels. Atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming. The stray cat on the hotel property was as friendly as the staff. If you see her; she loves the ham from the breakfast buffet ;)

the walls of the rooms are very thin you can can literally hear everything from the people in the other rooms.... Our neighbors didn't feel like sleeping till early in the morning ;)

A beautiful building with outside terrace for eating and a great pool area

Poor signage finding the property and trying to park, you have to lug bags quite a way to entrance. Our evening meal was great but due to being short staffed we had to get our own menus and water etc. Air con fixed at 23 degrees but

The restaurant looked great but unfortunately wasn't open on the Sunday when we travelled, we'd definitely use it if we came back this way another time

It’s really lovely chateau with really neat modern art! The restaurant is sooo good! We enjoyed the food multiple times. The staff is so wonderful, really so nice and helpful! It’s pretty close to a lot of wineries which worked well for us.

Beautiful Hotel, wonderful breakfast and very friendly and competent staff.

- The rooms arent really soundproof and we were disturbed a couple of times at night due to door-banging and people talking. - Not the staff but a gentleman who seemed to own the place was unfriendly/rude with family members because they wore shoes in the pool area (there was no sign which gave any specific instructions/prohibitions). One can communicate things in a decent manner but this gesture of someone in charge was inappropriate.
