This is not the first time and not the last time we are coming to this location / hotel. Staff - perfect Location - amazing Food - very good Quality price - high

Just a suggestion regarding the table setting for breakfast - thinking sustainability, I would skip the white table cloth and find a solution that is easy to clean and looks good at the same time (like a table mat). It is cheaper for the hotel, better for the planet while being still a very good solution for the customers.

We chose this hotel for its location and it is just fantastic. At the foot of the Picos de Europa mountains, 100m from the cable lift that takes you up in 3 min. Tip: book your tickets online in advance to avoid a long queue. The hotel has a lot of atmosphere, the rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and everything is very clean. Nice and tasty breakfast (note: with reservation of time slot). Spacious car park and lovely terrace.

You can't just walk in for breakfast, you have to stick to your time slot. But: we knew this in advance and didn't mind. The staff really did their best to serve everyone well.

We had two nights at this beautiful Parador in the most amazing location. We had a large room with an enclosed terrace area overlooking the cable car station. The room and bathroom were very clean. There was a range of toiletries in the bathroom. We particularly liked the separate toilet and twin sinks in the bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We paid 20 Euros each for the breakfast on one of the mornings and there was a wide range of choice. There was plenty of free parking outside the hotel . There were some large, spacious community areas to sit. This is a really great hotel and was one of the highlights of our trip.

Our room was lovely but was a bit of a hike from Reception.There was a lift to the first floor but two further sets of stairs. If you have mobility issues please be aware that soon rooms are difficult to get to. it wasn't an issue for us.

The end of the Road lies this charming Parador. Location stunning and perfect for use of cable car and walking. At Night it is very peaceful and great for stars watching. The room was spacious, with a large comfy double bed. Very clean and good sized bathroom. Attached to the room is a enclosed balcony with big windows and stunning views. On the corridor and beside reception are other lounge areas, where you can have a glass of vino. Very helpful staff. The Parador has its own secure parking. The cable car is across the rod and takes you for €24 up the mountain. Parador breakfast is now €20 with a menu for hot food to order from.

Not complaining, we don’t speak Spanish and the lady at reception has not good English which caused a misunderstanding booking a timeslot for breakfast. Potes which has plenty of excellent restaurants is a 30 minute drive.

On check out the receptionist asked me if we enjoyed our stay and was everything ok. Which I replied excellent with the exception of my issue in the restaurant on our first night. She apologised and kindly credited our invoice for the veal steak meal.

Meal in restaurant. I had the veal steak which was a bad piece of meat cooked very rare. I couldn't cut the meat with the cutlery given so asked for a steak knife which was no better. I told the waiter and showed him how bad it was and saw him tell a woman who looked head of the restaurant. No apology given.

The hotel is located adjacent to the only cable car in the Picos de Europa making it the ideal location from which to enjoy the spectacular scenery. The hotel has comfortable lounge areas and is well furnished throughout. The hotel restaurant offers a wide range of local dishes and the breakfast is good. There is a pleasant bar and outdoor terrace where snacks are available. Whilst there is little to do in Fuente De there is good selection of restaurants in the village of Espinama which is a 5 minute care journey away.

Compared with other paradors the building itself is looking a little tired and could do with some renovation. Coffee making facilities in our room would of been nice and should be expected in a hotel of this quality

Stunning location. Very nice room with wonderful views.Hotel bar and restaurant were very good, lovely food and the staff were so friendly.

We took the cable car up the mountain which was stunning. Well worth the effort. But a warning that the walking return options are a lot harder than the provided map suggests. We should have done the easy option which would just have taken a few hours and back down in the cable car, the medium option would have been ok but we took the 'shortcut' option of it which turned out to be very difficult due to the terrain, unless fully kitted out for a tough hike take the slightly longer road route, it will be quicker!

If you are visiting the Picos de Europe you must stay here! Try and book one of the rooms at the back of the hotel which look out towards the mountains and with the cable car running right above you. Rooms are superb, large with wonderful enclosed balconies and great views. Lots of communal spaces to relax and a good restaurant. The location is perfect, just a 5 min walk to the cable car for some great views and walks in the mountains.

Very nice hotel, located in the middle of the mountains (ask a room with view). Good feeling. Spacious and pleasant room.

When you book food together with the room, you may expect a discount, this is not the case but opposite, the good dishes at diner are not included, but with additional price. This was not stated at time of booking, although the food is good. Breakfast expensive with a poor choice of hot dishes, cold buffet is good but only if you like spanish jamon, however, good quality products. Mattress a bit "tired", need amending. No restaurants or bars in closed vicinity, in fact there is almost nothing around, except the mountains

The location is in a spectacular, scenic, area. The scenery is wonderful. The weather can change in a moment. Location was very good though you have to travel some distances to see different areas. The rooms were very good and comfortable was good amenities. The breakfasts are good though nothing special.

The reception area staff was not particularly friendly nor helpful with information about hikes, place of the sea, etc. it always seem that they were put out if you asked them a question. We had to lug our luggage up two flights of stairs with no help.
