Location, easy access, parking, kids games, welcoming staff.

Breakfast should have more variety, like some arabic dishes. Also they should write the names and the components of the dishes. For the bathroom, the glass is not covered will so you can see anyone inside it during the shower. Changing the towels on daily base should be shown.

The staff went over and beyond to serve us as a family with a 1,5 yo toddler. I can’t thank enough the ladies at the front desk for arranging us an early check-in even with a fully booked hotel, so that we got our daughter for a nap. Also, the gentleman at the restaurant was so incredibly nice for us at the dinner! The property is also very clean and in good shape. We liked the room. Coffee machine is always a big plus.

The bed was unfortunately a bit uncomfortable, pillows and blankets, too. Perhaps we have gotten used to our Tempur bed + accessories so everything else just feels thin and poor. Also, the air conditioning didn’t work properly and it was too hot in the room.

I booked 2 standard rooms for myself and my family. The rooms were not very big but were full of facilities. Even if I can't operate the Nespresso machine), I enjoyed my 1 night stay at the Novotel. And BIG applause go to the breakfast itself and the breakfast area. The variety of products you would expect only from 5-star hotels, wide area. Very easy access from the central station to the hotel and from the hotel to the city centre. I will definitely choose Novotel for my next trip to Lugano. Maybe even just for breakfast :)

Professional staff, very friendly and helpful, very good English. Very clean and quite rooms. Also enjoyed the restaurant, great breakfast and nice dinner, comfy lounge at the bar. Nice pool for a few swims before breakfast, was still warm enough end of October 2022. Good WiFi. Just a few steps to the Lake or to the Funicular. Nice 15-20 mins walk along the lake promenade to downtown Lugano.

During winter season, the guests of the adjacent Ibis appear to have breakfast at the Novotel as well, which is understandable but still a bit annoying (probably not only for the guests): slightly crowded elevators and restaurant, noisy, and need to reserve a table.

Breakfast was excellent with a vast variety of fresh products available. - The location was another plus for this hotel.

- no water bottle in the room (just an empty fridge) - for a four star hotel I would expect "real" coffee mug (porcelain/stoneware) not a paper cup - on departure day the safe-box did not work.. we had to wait 45 minutes (and three interactions with the reception) until some-one opened the box

The hotel and its staff are very nice. The breakfast was included with the room and was very good! Lugano is beautiful.

Its pretty close to the train station Paradiso but a little far from the town center. You can walk 20-30 minutes from the hotel to Parco Ciani or take the bus to the town center.

Initially, I was slightly worried that the Novotel wasn’t in central Lugano, but actually Paradiso as a location could not have been better. This is one of the better Novotel hotels I have stayed in. Whole hotel was spotless. Great little outdoor pool which was perfect for a refreshing dip after our train journey. Excellent breakfast, delicious with many options to suit all tastes. Super waiting staff in the restaurant and bar, including the pool bar.

Reception staff were a bit vacuous, and luggage storage room apparently had no space for my husband’s not particularly large backpack so he had to leave it in the lobby. Main gripe is that I loathe the Novotel bathroom design with no loo door and frosted glass between bathroom and sleeping area. I’d like a tad more privacy!! B

Well located. Friendly staff. We stayed with the kids in the suite. Was a big 2 rooms where the kids had their own toilet and the sofa bed was turned into 2 separated single beds. Perfect. Toiletries from Rituals. All well arranged and clean. Nice bar at the swimming pool where we had a good dinner

Clean. Modern. Nice hotel. Your associate Julia is a pleasure to engage with, a talent and huge asset for your company. She is positive, serves with a beautiful smile, humble and nothing is too much trouble for her. I hope you feed this back. People are often all too quick to complain but she deserves GREAT feedback.

coffee machine was troublesome to operate in the room but nothing major. Feedback for you and other guests.
