Perfect location, nicely decorated - great touch of the club/bar downstairs and having a choice of breakfast included within room was great.

The room was insanely hot - it did have an extra large dyson fan, and we turned the radiator off, the heated towel rail and opened the windows but as ladies that had previously showered and done our hair, we had no choice but to re shower due to how hot it was… and we live in Cyprus 😂 I would suggest turning the towel heater off and radiator down in advance of guest arrival or maybe just checking that day how it feels. But it’s not really a complaint, we were laughing….and sweating 😅

Shame we were given the room with disabled bathroom, broken tiles on the wall, not very glamorous. No one showed us to our room although plenty of staff milling around. The lift button was broken. Although we were rung 1 week before our stay to say there would be noise below us from the bar and restaurant until 2am we weren't told that the room we were allocated had an industrial vent outlet making noise 24/7 outside the window. The view outside the windows from the room wasn't great either....such a shame, all this made the room price of £177 per night, well over the top. Sadly this hotel doesn't come up to the standard of their pricing, I would be hard pushed to recommend it.

Really nice hotel. They are very busy as they function for private parties as we were guests at one of the parties, which was in the covered courtyard with a private bar. Staff were exceptionally nice and friendly both in reception and the bar. The room was really nice, clean, comfortable with all extras like tea, coffee, and biscuits 😋. Room even had an iron with mini iron board. All together a great hotel in the centre of Hertford.

The actual room was really good, clean, spacious and exceeded my expectations. Breakfast very good, value for money Ambience of the place was great.

Even though the room was lovely, the noise from the windows was terrible. There were strong winds that night. They rattled and at one point I thought they had actually shattered! Am sure if they get secondary glazing it would resolve this problem.

Rooms were noisy due to parties at night in the bar/restaurant downstairs. No fridge or safe in one of our two room. Restaurant gets very full during breakfast so need to book in advance. Even though I booked 2 rooms for our family a long time ago mentioning we were coming for a special celebration we got rooms on different floors and one of them was not nice with no view, small and with a bad smell. After we spoke to the staff they changed it to a nice room but which unfortunately was very noisy.

Location good for Paradise Wildlife Park, town is nice with loads of eateries. Food was excellent had offer for guests of 50% off and breakfast included in the room rate. Restaurant staff attentive. Room was clean with hairdryer slippers and iron. Kettle in room for hot drinks. Room had air conditioning. Liked the toiletries in the bathroom wanted to buy some but there was none for sale at Reception when we asked.

Single glazing meant it was noisy at times during the night/early morning. No decaf coffee or non milk option in room. Took a long time for hot water to come through to the shower lot of water wasted. Would be nice if there was a socket by the mirror in the room to use hairdryer there.

Very friendly staff, great location, modern and contemporary rooms, very clean and has everything you would need. Fantastic breakfast!

The room was very large but the bed was small. Although we could only book a double as this was a last minute booking, so there may be larger beds available. There also was no mirror in the room which could be used for doing hair/make up with plugs near.

The decor was absolutely fabulous, the staff were just lovely, the rooms had everything one would need. We just loved it here, would stay again if we can get rooms away from the noise.

Noise from the club/dance partners honestly the only thing that let this place down, we absolutely loved everything else. Now it wasn’t loud enough to not be able to sleep btw, it was just loud enough to hear it and be in the room.

Staff went over and above. Room was clean and the breakfast was amazing! We were here for a wedding one of our first trips away with our baby and it easy easy home from home. Although we have no reason to come back to Hertford we would to stay here and for breakfast!! I rarely remember to leave reviews but this place is worth shouting about! Xx

Very central location, lots of bars, cafes and nearby shops. Close to two direct train lines into London, big bright comfortable room. The breakfast was very good, well priced and in a nice room. The staff were fantastically friendly.

The shower could have been a little better. It lacked power and was difficult to stand under as it was too close to the wall.
