Excellent 3 night stay at Rockview. We stayed in the "Black Rock" room, which was not only one of the nicest B&B rooms I have stayed in but also has a fantastic view of the bay in Portree. The bed was very comfortable, and it was difficult to get up in the morning - I could have stayed there with my morning coffee in bed just looking at the view. The bathroom was on the smaller side but was functionable, and the rain shower was powerful, and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good, and there was a varied menu - I particularly enjoyed the warm croissants. There is no official parking at the B&B however, there is parking across the road and we never had any issues throughout our stay. Mairi and Andrew were fantastic hosts, and it is clear the love they have put into their business to make it a success . Great touch with the whisky - a wee dram every night. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Portree . Remember to book early as it gets booked up very quickly.

Breakfast was amazing, and prepared early for us to go hiking before check-out. The room was beautiful and the view…🤩🤩🤩. Location was perfect to walk for an evening meal. We were fortunate to get a parking spot out front, otherwise, options were given which I can’t say how far they were. Our hosts were two lovely people.

It was a busy (event) weekend, so we weren’t able to go to our choice of restaurant. It would have been nice to know to book in advance; zero vacancy for meals once we arrived.

Our stay at Rockview was excellent. Andrew and his wife make every effort to ensure your experience is special, being extremely attentive and always willing to help, with great attention to detail, such as having a bottle of whisky in the hallway for guests to enjoy a drink. The room was very spacious, with a spectacular view of the sea. They have a very organized system for breakfasts with a wide variety of choices. If you're a dog lover and lucky, you might get to see their adorable little dog.

The accommodation is very comfortable and very well equipped. The interior of the house and the room itself were amazing. Both owners are very nice people and they are always ready to answer your questions. Breakfast was very tasty. Also the location is just perfect. We will definitely come back.

There is nothing to complain. The only problem can be parking. The public one across the street is not available at all times. However the paid option is less than 10 minutes walk.

Rockview was a wonderful place to stay. The location is excellent, right on the shoreline of Portree and within quick walking distance to the town centre. The house itself was warm, cosy and inviting, decorated beautifully throughout. We stayed in an en-suite twin room, which was extremely comfortable and contained everything we required: tea and coffee (including Tassimo!), biscuits, a small fridge containing fresh milk and water. Our hosts, Andrew and Mairi were excellent, welcoming and the breakfast in the morning was of superior quality both in choice and in ingredients. We would highly recommend Rockview to any guests looking for a place to stay in Portree. We will definitely be back!

Our hosts were amazing. They treat their guests like royalty. It was a perfect stay from start to finish! Andrew met us at the door, carried our luggage up to room, and made us feel welcome right away. Later, in the evening we met Mairi, who was our hostess for dinner. She was inquisitive about our travels and our lives. She felt like an old friend immediately, and best of all, she let us meet her dog! ;-) The hotel is lovely and very comfortable. The food was excellent and well prepared. We highly recommend this hotel.

Rockview is an exceptionally lovely guest house! The room was beautifully decorated and included every essential amenity. The owners even provided a bottle of Talisker whiskey in the hall along with glasses, so guests could help themselves to a dram! The dining room overlooks the water, so guests have a lovely view while enjoying breakfast and, or dinner. Dinners are available if ordered in advance, which I highly recommend. The salmon and smoked haddock dishes were divine!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Rockview. The husband and wife who run the place are so welcoming. The views of the water were such a lovely sight to see every morning at breakfast. The breakfasts were the highlight of our stay- delicious! Location was also great- everything was walkable. We stayed in the room with the double beds and it turned out to be more spacious than what I perceived from the pictures. I would absolutely stay here again

Nothing. But just to let future travelers know this is a historic house turned to a bed & breakfast guesthouse so the walls are very thin.

Located in Portree with an amazing view of its harbor, Rockview is one of the best B&B's we've stayed at. The hosts treated us like family and were very attentive and helpful. In addition, they are both chefs and we enjoyed an incredible meal prepared especially for us. We admired their commitment to sustainability while still giving guests a personal experience. We look forward to returning in the future.

Parking is limited close by, but with planning and flexibility, this wasn't really an issue. We were notified personally of alternative lots that were a few to several minutes away but we enjoyed walking through the very charming town.

Very quaint B&B with the friendliest hosts. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. The bed was the most comfortable we encountered in our 2+ week trip to Scotland. Breakfast was prepared to order and of very high quality.

Parking is available on the street depending on timing. We arrived late on the first night and needed to park in a public lot about 10 minutes walk away. Hosts helped us with luggage at the door so there was no need to lug that across town.
