The location of the property is very good right next to the sea. We had ocean view rooms and absolutely loved them. The rooms and washrooms were large and clean. It's on the east of the island so you can watch the sunrise. The cave temple is right across the property. Good places to eat, petrol station and a supermarket are very close to the property. Special mention to Agus and his team who arranged speedboats to and from Bali to Nusa Penida, scooters and harbour transfers. We felt very welcome and comfortable. They even had flower decorations in our rooms to welcome us. The property is better than it looks in the pictures and it was amazing to hear the waves when sleeping after exploring Nusa Penida for the entire day.

Few things were missing like glasses in rooms but we used coffee cups instead to have a few drinks.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful and always ready to assist. There are four rooms with a garden views and four with a beach view - make sure you book one of those! The view is simply fabulous! You will get a view of the sunrise over the sea - with the swimming pool - right from your bed. The sea view room is very spacious with a large comfortable bed. The shower room is also very spacious. There are a couple of great warungs nearby. try Warung D'Anna, it's very good. There's also a small shop just across from the hotel where you can buy basics. Do take time to visit Goa Giri Putri Temple which is 3 minutes' walk from the hotel. It's a bit of a climb and you do need to go through a fairly narrow hole in the rock but once through it's quite amazing.

Although there was plenty of hot water, the shower was more of a trickle and you will need to bring toiletries with you (unless the previous guest has left some).

the staff were wonderful and super friendly. location superb. the pool overlooking the sea was our favorite place to chill at the end of the day. it is handy to rent a motorbike if you want to have a look around the island but certainly recommend this place.

Our room was overlooking the pool and the sea that was the highlight of the stay. We had booked knowing it's on the east coast but think againif you have less time as everything is on the west coast

It's on the east coast and basically away from the harbour and all the west coast beaches, so if you are staying for a night and decide to do the west side on the next day you basically will have to come back to the east side and got to the harbour. We used a rental bike so that was tedious. The rooms have basic amenities and please carry travel converter as all sockets in bali are not suitable to India fast chargers. They were kind enough to lend us one Though if you want to go to diamond beach this is a nice location.

Best stay in Cave Beach Bungalow. The room was amazing we had see view. Airconditioning is good working and there is a hot shower (not usual in every hotel). There is a swimming pool and 5 meters down the pool there is also a beach where you can swim. The workers of the hotel are so friendly you can ask them everything and also they clean the room everyday. (Incl fresh towels) The owner of the hotel speaks English very well & he organize tours for around the island. The location of the hotel is perfect if you don’t want to be in the crowded Main Street. In these street you are between the locals what makes it so nice. For food there are multiple warungs in the street, our favorite was ….. this one was only a 5 min walk. Almost forgot to say they offer a taxi ride to the harbor for a very good price. We didn’t booked it and we were cheated for 2 times the price.

The property is absolute beach front my room doors had a view looking over the pool to the beach, although a very basic property it had everything you need and value for money. The staff were amazing and fun from the moment I arrived I stayed 4 nights and although there is no restaurant or bar there are plenty of food options close and a convenience store across the road. Breakfast was brought to my room every morning. Great place to chill out.

We were two female travellers and we felt safe at the Cave Beach Bungalow. Agus, the host, was friendly and reliable. He could converse in reasonable English, so, was not difficult to communicate. He picked us up from the Harbour (250k rupiah one way at the time of our visit). Breakfast was included for us and was satisfactory. Cleanliness was reasonable. They will taxi you back and forth for FREE to a nearby restaurant (with a nice view) called Ogix warung. Food was good. There is a Goa Giri Putri temple just across the street that is worth a visit! Overall, a private, quiet place to stay with a beautiful view overlooking the waters and mountains from the room. You could arrange to purchase speedboat and tours with Agus - they appear to be at more competitive prices than tours that we have booked elsewhere. We did not do their tours so not sure how they fare.

It was almost a 45min ride from the harbour and far from the main attractions of the Nusa Penida island.

Beautiful sunrise location. Quiet, away from the busy part of the island. Staff were very doting, supportive and helpful. Seaview room is worth it, if you like falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean.

Scooter rental price from the hotel is excessive. Rent from the Port or elsewhere is possible. Need a scooter to function on this island. Received water on arrival, but none for the rest of the stay. Would have been nice to get water each day.
