The room we had was a queen room which was spacious and the bed was massive and very comfy. The pool was great and there were plenty of sun loungers to use. We had breakfast included and it was well worth the money. There was so much food to choose from and they catered for dietary requirements (diary free) too. The staff were friendly and helpful and helped to make our stay really enjoyable. The gym is small but functional. The pool bar serves food throughout the day and there’s a selection of snacks, ice creams and drinks to choose from.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the hotel. The only real downside was that it’s a 10 minute walk from the beach. The way down is fine but the way back is up a huge hill. Completely manageable if you’re fit and healthy and there is an option to get a free shuttle, but this needs booking in advance which isn’t ideal if you’re not 100% sure of your plans a few days in advance.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, staff were very friendly, the pool area was very nice and the breakfast was pretty good.

Unfortunately, the sofa bed that was used by our son, was very squeaky and every time he turned, we woke up from the noise, so our nights were interrupted. All that reception was able to offer, was to place a mattress in the room but our son did not want to sleep on the floor. I would recommend that the hotel replaces the sofa beds!

We were more than satisfied all around. Beautiful hotel, very comfy beds, great pool area and the employees are all 11/10! So sweet, helpful and you actually feel like they enjoy working there :) We reas some reviews saying the breakfast is lacking but we really couldn‘t understand why this was said. It was very good.

We really liked everything. One suggestion would be to maybe add some local fish or seafood in some way to the lunch menu but we understand it can be logistically challenging. Also I always love when hotels highlight some regional producers like having honey from the region at breakfast or some local cheeses etc. But really suggestions at a high level!

The premise is excellent from the room to the common areas. I have been using the fitness area during those days and it was good. They gave us a room with sea views and nice terrace with garden. The views were stunning and the facilities in the room incredible good.

My only negative point they didn’t have any attention with my dog. Even they didn’t put a water disk for my little dog, Olivia. They didn’t have any specials attention with the animal after pay 25e/night (just for the dog). They really need to improve this aspect. They should consider at least to place a water disk for the animal in the room …we were paying for the animal stay every day…

It may be called Four Points, but our stay was Five Star! My wife, Margery, and I had a delightful time relaxing by the pool and reading the latest John Grisham novellas. The breakfast buffet cured us of our sins from nights past, and the staff were as kind as the Nile is long.

The lunch and dinner options at the on-site restaurant were a not great. But having said that, the free shuttle service they offer enables you to head down to the town and eat delicious clams instead. My wife, Melinda, enjoys clams.

Breakfast was exceptional - lots of choice, cooked, european, American. All plates and cups were very pretty. Whole family was very impressed. The hotel was basically empty when we went there - I suspect about 10% occupancy but the whole of Sesimbra was very empty, I was expecting there to be more people.

Apart from the lady at check-in not being friendly, not much at all. It is a walk from the beach (15mins) but the hotel was really lovely. I would definitely return.

We had a very comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable, the room is spacious and the facilities where excellent. Superb breakfast and very friendly to children.

The baby cot was smaller (in length) than the standard beds hotels use, so it was to small for our 3yr old. Luckily our bed was large enough to share with the whole family :) . The playroom smelled like the extractor hood of the kitchen lead straight to the playroom. It was very uncomfortable and unfitting for small children.

Staff is polite and always ready to help. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet with plenty of choices.

It is a bit far away from town and beach, there is a car that can drive you in and back but you will have to book it beforehand and give specific times, not what you want while on holiday. Cleaning of the rooms is very late, our room wasn't ready before 17.00, if you tired and need to rest it's too late, in every hotel I've stayed before, the room was ready at lunch time.

I liked the view from the room and the general cleanliness of the hotel. We also liked the fact that people didn't put towels on the sun beds and you could generally find somewhere to sit by the pool anytime of day. Liked the free shuttle service to the town.

Didn't like the fact that you had to queue for a table at breakfast after from around 9am onwards. Didn't like the fact the pool was always very cold.

The hotel is really beautiful and quiet - even if it was very full we could not really feel it in the pool or breakfast area. The rooms are also really big and comfortable. The Shuttle the hotel provided is also a really good option as the hotel is located in a hill and you need to go up 10 minutes to come back from the city center. Driver Frederico was really friendly and professional!!

The rooms are so big and then the bathrooms are really small... this is a pity. The towels look really bad. It is obviously they are clean ( and were changed everyday which is not even necessary) but they look dark and strange.
