The fresh fruit I had for breakfast was delicious. The staff were lovely, the grounds were impeccably landscaped and the atmosphere was so peaceful. The room was lovely and well appointed. We loved the soups and the coffees. The location is superb as it’s quiet but still close to gorgeous attractions. We adopted a tree so we will be back to see it again!! 😍😍

We were not informed before arrival that the spa and Japanese restaurant were unavailable so we had to find somewhere else to get a massage. There were very few healthy vegetarian options on the menu. The driver they got to take us into town overcharged us. Getting to the restaurant was tricky with a disability so I avoided it after the first day and ordered room service. If a lift is not possible, perhaps another small, more accessible dining area could be created? It really is a spectacular place to dine.

This is a beautiful place in the mountains next to a lake with a very beautiful golf course that is accessible to players of all levels. Amazing nature, quiet place, very friendly and helpful staff, great food.

Some of the public areas of the hotel were under renovation, but it was not noisy. I guess there was a pretty big discount on the price exactly due to this inconvinience, which was fair. Room interior looked quite worn but nice and clean. Again, as expected for the price paid.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. Great Mountain View’s and we appreciated the cooler air. Our daughter needed long trousers and a jumper but we were fine in shorts and T-shirts. Excellent breakfast selections from a buffet. Both restaurants offered a wide range of food and we especially enjoyed the Japanese restaurant. The golf course was impeccably and the golf caddy was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There are golf buggies to ferry you and luggage to and from rooms, which are nicely spread out.

Be prepared for rain and cloudy conditions.

We came to play golf and to relax in nature. The landscape is fantastic. We took a chalet and it was spacious and comfortable with a terrace on a garden. 3 minutes walk to the clubhouse. Temperature was only 16 degrees at night, but you can warm the room with a wood fire. You should prepare warm cloth if you want to dine outside. Service was great. The golf course was also very nice and prices get much cheaper from 13h00. Diner at the clubhouse was ok. Breakfast though was very nice. The view from the clubhouse is spectacular.

Nothing special. But the addition of a swimming pool could be a plus. The location is under renovation. Clubhouse and our chalet was already renovated. It was very nice.

The property is absolutely breathtaking, the staff were very kind & courteous. The food & cocktails were amazing!! 🍸🍽️🍹 We loved our morning mindfulness walks & got to feed the bunnies each morning. My husband played 18 holes of golf with his caddy & loved it! The cooler climate is just beautiful and the location is breathtaking.

Nothing everything was perfect 👌🏼

1. The environment around the resort is beautiful and peaceful. 2. The resort is very considerate and uses a dehumidifier to reduce the humidity in the room. 3. Breakfast is rich and delicious. 4. The resort is far from the main road and very quiet at night. 5. We slept tight without an air conditioner and we love it. 6. Handara Golf & Resort Bali is the place where I slept the best and felt the most comfortable during this trip.

1. Some guests let their children yell in the restaurant without stopping them. 2. Some guests video chatted loudly at night. 3. Ants work very hard. If the food is not placed properly, the food will be occupied by ants (such as my donuts...) 4. We should stay longer.

The location, the restaurants, the staff and the golf course are excellent. Best golf stay I've experienced and maybe the best course I've played. Good 4 degrees cooler during the day than most places in Bali that we've stayed. Enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel.

The lack of pool was a surprise but I guess with night time temperatures of 15 degrees C might be a factor. The hotel is a bit tired but comfortable enough. Still thought it represented good value.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Handara Golf Resort, and it was truly amazing! The impeccable service, luxurious room, and breathtaking surroundings made my experience exceptional. I'd like to give special recognition to the outstanding receptionist, Koming, and the excellent F&B service provided by Feby. Their attentiveness and dedication enhanced my overall enjoyment, making it a memorable stay. I highly recommend Handara Golf Resort for a delightful and top-notch experience.

We love Bali Hendara, we have stayed there 5 times in about 10 years and have seen it a bit old and tired looking but still wonderful. The new owners are pouring money into it to upgrade all the facilities and it sure looks great, not finished yet but you can certainly see the difference. It's a place to be proud of, I've always loved the ambiance of this very special place, from the beautiful staff and the great food to the Balinese villas which are all renovated. A word of warning here is get in soon to see this special place as I'm sure the prices which are ridiculously cheap won't last.

One very small thing that isn't really a criticism and can be easily overlooked, please check all remote batteries please as the one in our room was pretty flat
