Our room overlooked the street in front of the hotel, including some interesting, majestic buildings. We managed to park for one hour for free on a parking meter about a ten-minute walk away. Once we had checked in, we moved the car to one of the car parks that Le Mondon has an arrangement with for a 50% discount (remember to ask for your voucher when you check out!). Le Mondon is close to the old town, so an easy walk. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and functional. The breakfast was included and very good.

I liked just about everything!! The location was awesome; easy walk from the train station and to all the Christmas markets and sights. The employees were VERY friendly and helpful! Got some great advice on using the train to Luxembourg! I had asked for a room not facing the street and they made it happen! The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable! Slept like a baby! The breakfast was very nice also! As always, love the coffee machines in Europe! :) Highly recommend the Hôtel Le Mondon Metz!!

Nothing, everything was exceptional across the board! Highly recommend if you are staying in Metz and using the train!

The breakfast spread was incredible! The staff was so friendly and kind (even after my child accidentally locked our key in our room). The location was spectacular, offering beautiful views of the fountain plaza in the center. A/C was excellent in August and they allowed our dog to stay with us which was very convenient.

There was no designated parking reserved for hotel guests. We ended up finding a spot on the street but it took quite a long time for one to become available. The rooms were well decorated and cleaned but very small; I suppose this added to the historic charm of the building.

--The staff was pleasant and helpful, though there was a minor problem at the desk (see below). --The breakfast was very good.

--The young man at the desk was very pleasant, but unfortunately he didn't know what he was doing and there was a relatively long wait for the key. I think he may have been new, but the hotel management should not have left him alone in that case. --The room was good, though the view described on the site was clearly not the one we had, which was really nothing special.

Lots more space than we expected in our room which was lovely. Great shower, lots of towels. Location was easy to find and get to from bus station. Easy walk into the main part of town, only 10-15 mins to cathedral for reference. Really good breakfast even for gluten free people though recommend going earlier to get a table, it was busy! Stored our luggage before check in which was super handy.

The room was clean, warm and comfortable. A nice continental style breakfast with decent choice available. The location was close to the city centre. Only a 5 to 10 minute walk.

Unfortunately the water was cold in the bathroom a technical issue with the heating system. To be fair it was a Sunday and the plumber wasn't available to fix until Monday

The Hotel is in a good position to find parking and to move at the Metz center. The breakfast is a Continental with the essential product of good quality: the reception asks you witch type of brioche you prefer in the morning. The parking is the public (i.e., on the street) with payment in the time range 9-12 and 14-19: after the shops closure it's simple to find a place.

The building is hold and it exhibits hold style furniture with the carpet (i.e., moquette). The bathroom is small. Suitable solution for not more than one night

The room is confortable, roomsize is good enough we had a twin bedroom, clean, location is good where just 10 mins walk from the TGV station, breakfast is very good, you have bacon and scamble eggs, hot pancake, staff are nice.

The carpet (reception, elevator, corridor and staircase are dirty and old) I think they have to renovate all these, included the entrance, public area. The matress is too soft for me, but it's ok for my husband.

Since I am traveling with my dog, it is important for me to find a good quality hotel that accepts pets at a reasonable price. This hotel checked every need I had. We had a late check-in but the staff at the reception was there and very helpful. The room we stayed in was quite big and the beds were very comfortable. We were also happy with the breakfast provided. The location of the hotel was also a big bonus.

I guess the only thing I could complain about was that our room was a bit chilly. I understand with the energy prices going up, it is not reasonable to expect a room that is very hot. It would have been nice to put extra blankets in the wardrobe for people who choose to be warmer.

Although looking a bit tired, the hotel was better than expected. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts we have had in a long while. Staff were nice, friendly and helpful. Great location, short walk from train station and to the city centre. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
