Great location close to the city centre and airport train. Rooms were nice, clean and a good size. Friendly and helpful staff.

Slow check in at 5pm - perhaps they could add extra staff at that time? The hotel bar was difficult to access, though we easily found other places to go. No kettle and complementary tea/coffee in the room. Maybe this is a cultural difference .

Only really minor observations: -two storage places in the room were not 100 % clean on arrival -refilling time for items empty during breakfast on weekend took a bit longer, but I guess that is part of the sustainability policy in order to avoid wasted food

Location is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Providing an early breakfast was a great touch for an early flight. Comfortable beds, fantastic shower. Good temperature control in the room. A great choice for breakfast.

A dressing table or somewhere to do make up would have been nice. Breakfast was always extremely busy, but in fairness the staff were constantly clearing tables and re-stocking the buffet area. Finding the open bar was a challenge from the elevators as the signage was not clear and it was easier and quicker to exit the hotel front door and walk up the hill to the corner!

This was the most perfect place for my stay in Helsinki. The hotel was busy, and I didn't hear anything from the rooms around me. They're sound-proofed extremely well. Breakfast is an absolute dream - soothing acoustic music with food to satisfy every palate. The room was spacious, and I loved that the bathroom light automatically turned itself on and off in the middle of the night by motion sensor when you entered. Clean, comfortable, luxurious, and peaceful. You won't regret staying here! It may be the nicest hotel experience I've ever had.

The first room they gave me the ceiling tile was detached from the ceiling and the ac unit wasn't plugged in. I was tired from traveling, so having to go back to the lobby with all my luggage again wasn't fun. But the receptionist was wonderful and got me a new room immediately. If I had to be nit-picky, the rooms with a bathtub were a very steep step to get into the shower/tub. I almost wish they had a step stool for me, haha. Navigating exit while wet was not fun either. This small detail wouldn't deter me at all from staying again, though. Also, the thermostat in the room wouldn't go to 19, I'd set it at 19, and the closest it would get is 20. Minor detail, but I would have preferred a slightly cooler room and being able to control the thermostat.

We had both Superior King room and Superior Twin room. We did like both- very spacious, big windows, comfortable mattresses, enough pillows. Temperature in the rooms could be regulated. It was quiet and comfortable to sleep. Location is great, train station is near, cafes, shopping centers all are around. Breakfast had a good choice of food. Very friendly and helpful Scandic team. We could store our luggage before the check in and after check out, it was really very important. Superior Twin room was made accessible for people with disabilities, really comfortable, I could recommend. We enjoyed the door opening automatically 🙂

The location was good. Just a little bit out of the main part of Helsinki, across from a Old Church Park. It took maybe 10-15 minutes to walk to the harbor via the Esplandi, which is a pretty walk. There are lots of stores and restaurants along the way. The room was modern and clean and the bed very comfortable. It's also reasonably priced for Helsinki. And I enjoyed the close proximity to St. George Bakery, just across the park. They had excellent pastries, including Boston Buns and korvapuusti, and very good coffee.

I was traveling alone so the room was fine for me. However, I booked a King Room and there is no way that the bed I had would have worked for two people. It was a double bed at best (not a queen bed as represented) and it was shoved into a little cove where one side was up against a wall and the other had maybe a foot of space between the edge of the bed and the other wall (nothing like what is shown in the pictures on the website). I could barely get out of the bed and around it let alone if another person had been up against the wall and had to try to get out. Also, I didn't think the breakfast selection was that great, despite other reviews to the contrary. There weren't good egg options and no salmon or other fish. The selection of TV stations was also poor.

I really liked the location. The room was very clean and had a great, fresh-looking bathroom. The breakfasts were tasty with plenty of options to choose from. There's also a sauna downstairs which I used 2 times. I also liked that TV was quite modern so I could use Chromecast. P.S. photos on booking website are accurate!

There was some subtle constant noise coming from the heater (and there was a "don't touch" sticker on it so I didn't try to fix it myself). Also, the acoustic isolation in my room wasn't the best. I could hear footsteps from the rooms above me, as well as some rhythmic sex-like banging (possibly from a supply room next to mine or nearby). Fortunately, it was over quickly ;) I also think that all WiFi networks should be WPA2, password protected, and there should be no password-less ones (because of possible security risks).

Loved the breakfast - huge selection! The room was lovely and modern, we were very happy with how it felt and were pleasantly surprised of the positive feel when we first walked in. Also loved the options for the lighting as well as the beautiful shower!

We arrived early hoping for an early check-in (it was not pre booked or paid for but were still hopeful). We were advised that the only way to receive this was to upgrade our room and pay an additional amount, the amount was higher than expected and it felt like it was really being pushed, as it was only four hours until check-in we declined. Later when we came back, we were then able to check in 30 minutes early and the service at this point was incredible.

The hotel is super clean and the rooms are modern and comfortable. Also, you’ll be able to walk to main attractions around Kampi neighborhood. There is a very good pizza downstairs (hotel restaurant)!

On my personal point of view, it would be great if there were more fruit available (there was just watermelon). But there were plenty of hot dishes available (not my kind of breakfast). Regarding room temperature, the hotel doesn’t have a high temperature similar to other hotels in other European cities (with similar atmospheric conditions). However, the staff at the front desk lent us a heater which solved our problem.

The hotel was a 10 minute walk away from the city center. The bed was extremely cozy and room was way bigger than I imagined, it even had a sofa by the window, perfect for a cup of tea & book kind of evening. Breakfast was really good, with freshly made mini croissants, cinnamon buns, eggs, fruits, cereals, juice and coffee, milk and yogurt, deli slices and cheese. The restaurant was a bit expensive, but it was in line with Helsinki prices in general. I asked for a room with a bath tub when I booked my trip, and they were kind enough to give me one! Staff at reception was nice and spoke very good English.

The water only reached a mild warm temperature, never hot! Which was fine for the sink, but not for the bath tub! Other than that, everything perfect.
