We arrived early in the morning and are allowed to obtain one room immediately as it was available. The host/ staff welcomed us and suggested we could use all the utilities in the common room. Though the hotel just got shared washroom and toilet and it was not a big hostel with limited rooms and common area, the facilities and the bedrooms were clean and tidy. Meanwhile, it was so kind to let us store the lugguages for 2 days/night after check out on 30 Sept to Rovenimi for our check-in again on 3 Oct. And before our leaving to Rovenimi by overnight train, we are freely allowed to stay at the common room for rest. It had provided so warm hospitality.

I enjoyed the superb location. Also clean facilities were a plus. Even though this hostel locates in the city center, it was pretty quiet and peaceful to stay there, as there was no heavy traffic nearby. I didn't meet any of the staff during the stay, all was just very smoothly organized - like magic fairies :) Also, while Finland is a 'coffee-country', the hostel provided visitors with not only coffee, but also with water kettle and good tea - I really appreciate it!

No problems at all! The single bed was a bit high and narrow for me personally, but after rearranging the two beds in my room, I slept like a baby :)

We had a wonderful stay at MOI Aikatalo Hostel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hostel itself was well-maintained. We especially appreciated the spacious accommodations, which were perfect for our family of 6. The location was fantastic, with easy access to public transportation and all the major attractions. The hostel was also surprisingly quiet, which made for a relaxing stay. We highly recommend MOI Aikatalo to families visiting the city.

The cleanest hostel I’ve ever seen. Even the toilets and shower rooms are shared, there are enough of them to avoid the crowd. The guests were very respectful to the rules too. The self check in is very fun and convenient. Just be careful to take the room card every time when going out of room. If not, you can be in big trouble as the staff are not there and you might be helpless if you also leave your phone in the room :P

There will be nice if adding a fixed phone to help the guests to call the staff in emergency (in case of lost of room card or lock the room card inside the room)

The hostel is very close to the train station, so the location was great. The early check-in was very welcome and convenient. Communication with the hostel was on point. Beds are very comfortable. Showers have shampoo, etc.

Nothing really. Might not be the best hostel if you're looking to make new contacts, as the shared space is not that big. The facilities (shower, bathroom) are rather basic, but good enough.

One of the toilets had an unpleasant smell of food chilli or something in saying this hostel.is surrounded by restaurants. Only other minor thing that would make this hostel perfect is adding a hob to the kitchen but may not be possible with the layout.

It was very central and so easy to go anywhere. I got given a big room (Room 9) and that space was lovely. The bed and duvet was very comfortable and the staff were friendly.

Sometimes the shower gel and conditioner ran out in the shower room. It was difficult to find the place when I arrived, and I couldn't go up to the 7th floor without a code.

It’s handy place to stay if u passing thru Helsinki, i wouldn’t stay more then one night. Good facilities for a hostel, quiet and clean, no staff so it feels very relaxed. Great location. kitchen to prepare something basic was great, lounge area if u don’t want to eat in your room is great.

It's a nice little hostel right in the city centre of Helsinki, you can get to the Central Railway Station in about 5 mins. The communication with the host was very easy and she always answered our messages quickly. The check in and check out were not complicated at all. The rooms were very clean and the beds were sooo comfortable! There were many shower and toilet options available and many restaurants to choose from nearby.

The doors to the shower and toilet rooms were often closed and there is no possibility of the moist and air to get out, so it sometimes smelled a bit inside of the bathrooms. Also, there was not a lot of space to put clothes inside of the shower in some of the shower possibilities.

Everything! Their fast response, the friendly front desk lady who were so kind (we forgot to ask her name!), and then of course the location which is very close to Helsinki Central Station (just 3 minutes walk). The room was very clean and tidy, just like in the picture. And the toilet and shower rooms were perfect!! (Please note that this is a hostel, so we share the public facilities, incl. the shower and toilet). The toilet and shower were sparkly clean. The water pressure at the shower and the hot water WERE THE BEST! It's so hot. Not lukewarm, but hot. Perfect for winter. Last but not least, the toilet has a biddet faucet. Being Muslims, we really appreciate this. In brief, it is highly recommended to stay here! Love from Indonesia 😍🇮🇩
