Beautiful place. Swimming pool was just outside our room so very convenient, there was a verandah/sitting area outside all the rooms which I liked very much. Lush beautiful surroundings in a very quiet area and very close to the beach

The room was clean, had great lighting, and a beautiful view of the pool and courtyard! The area is very quiet, mostly hotels and some locals near the beach who seemed friendly enough (though I did not wander around at night). It's a very short walk to the beach and not much further to walk to a convenience store for necessities. There is also a bus stop nearby! The food in the hotel restaurant is fantastic and the waitstaff were absolutely a delight! There was also live music on Friday and Saturday night. It was the highlight of my evenings to stop by for dinner, read my book, and visit with the staff who were working that night. On the Oasis side of the property there is a security guard posted through the night overlooking the street, so I felt very safe. The staff were also willing to accommodate any requests no matter how strange - including when I came asking for vinegar for a large jellyfish sting on my leg! Finally, I don't normally mention the internet/wifi in hotels because they're normally pretty standard but this place is HEAVEN for someone who wants a great and fast connection. Each of their rooms (possibly only the Suites) has its own in-room router connected via ethernet so you get the fastest possible connection with zero potential interference from walls. I was getting 220 Mbps down and 22 Mbps up and had no issues with latency or disconnections.

My only suggestion would be a shelf or surface next to/in the shower in the rooms because there was nowhere to place any showering items and it can be a slip hazard for people to bend over to get things.

The staff is really wonderful here and made for a wonderful three days. I received outstanding customer service from Jose Santana. I had a technical situation with with my phone CR sim card provider, and not speak Spanish, so Jose graciously assisted me for over an hour, trying via phone, internet, chat, etc. to help figure out the problem. And later, while in town at Coco, we ran into him on his off hours, and he offered to assist us with another matter. We also enjoyed the made to order breakfast each morning with several choices. All served with the most lovely staff. The walk to the beach was an easy 5 minutes and we actually liked not having to deal with parking, etc. We found Hermosa beach to be much more quieter and therefore nicer than Coco.

The units are individually owned and equipped and ours unfortunately had no shade umbrella on the balcony. The sun can be pretty harsh, so we could not use the balcony during the day. At night it was possible to eat outside and relax there (if you have mosquito repellant during recent rain).

The staff is so helpful and kind, especially Leo. The restaurant was exceptional for dinner and breakfast. The pool at the Oasis properties is very clean and enjoyable. Location is only a short walk to the beach.

Our 2 bedroom suite, number 325, needs to be refreshed. The furniture is uncomfortable, bedding is worn, tv didn’t work, blinds need replacing. We learned that some of the units, like 325, are privately owned but managed by Villas del Sueno. So the owners are probably responsible for the contents. The photos shown online of Villa Del Suenos rooms look great, but it’s what you might get. Ours was disappointing.

The place is amazing. The staff was right there to help with anything. The restaurant serves food that you would find at a high-end restaurant in the States. We ate there daily, and my husband had breakfast every morning. I'm not much of a breakfast eater. The quality of the ingredients & the recipes created an amazing flavor. I don't like veggies and always pick them out of everything. They way they were cooked didn't taste like veggies at all. For the 1st time in my 64 years, I ate them all. The portions are large & several meals we split an entré and appetizer. During our trip, we met the owners (husband & wife from Canada) & found out that the menu was designed by the wife, who is a chef herself. They bought the land & built this quaint property. There is live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The beach is really 5 min walk or you can stay at the pool all day. We did both. They arranged everything for us, taxi & excursions. I can't say enough about this place. We felt like family! If you want that personal touch & that family feeling this is the place. We will go back next trip. Love ❤️ this place.

A fabulous ensemble of musicians with a female vocalist were playing Santana on stage in the outdoor dining area our first night there and it was FANTASTIC. The breakfast is complimentary and has a range of items to order from bagels to crepes to Tico, always with fresh fruit. The dining staff is wonderful. The swimming pools are deluxe. We had a little balcony where we could observe and listen to birds and occasionally the howler monkeys. We walked to the beach every morning and evening (about 5 minutes) for sunrise and sunset. It is a long stretch of beach used by local families and you can always find shade in the early morning. Our room was so spacious, a firm yet comfortable mattress, air conditioned, small kitchen area, clothes closet with hangers, and a large bathroom area. Towels and linens were very nice. There is a safe in the room.

The location is perfect, quiet out of the way yet near to the airport and beach. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. They will contact you wherever you are when your ride has arrived. The breakfast was amazing. Sit down to order, with fresh coffee, OJ and fruit every day. It's the best breakfast included I've ever had anywhere. Unlike a big commercial building, it's very quaint and homey. It is truly a place to relax and unwind. Jose#1 at the front desk was so very sweet. Leo knew everything about everything and was very helpful while planning tours suited to your liking. Jose#2 was our smiling server and very sweet. Jose#3 was our driver for 3 tours. He was very knowledgeable and was the perfect guide. If you are lucky to be there on a Friday night with the live entertainment they were really awesome!

I can't say I disliked anything but the mosquitoes but that's what you get in the rainy season and you forget your bug spray. Would have liked a microwave but I lived without it just fine.

Villa del Sueno is beautifully landscaped, featuring a variety of palm trees, banana trees, and tropical flowers just outside the rooms. The gardens are home to several cats that add to the property's charm. The restaurant stands out for its exceptional meal quality and live music performances during dinner.

However, the property might not be ideal for those traveling for work, as the internet can be inconsistent, especially during high winds. Furthermore, the tropical environment means bugs and cockroaches are occasionally present.
