I stayed in the older rooms of basically a new 4 star new hotel- all the facilities were fantastic, my room was huge with a lounge area, spring water & large 4 post bed. The gardens and pool areas were gorgeous. Amazing value for a cheaper room.

The only issue was walking to the quiet streets of nyuh kyunig involved a 5 min stretch of a busy road without a dedicated path- but once you crossed into the residential area there were great food options.

We booked the 2-bed villa with private pool, which was away from the main hotel and very private. For the price, it was perfect. It was secluded and huge and had the private pool and garden. Staff were available on WhatsApp and incredibly attentive when needed - see below. Loved the massive terrace upstairs, as well as sitting area below. Water dispenser was a grateful inclusion, as was the kettle.

The place was a little tired and perhaps suffering still from the effects of standing empty during the pandemic. Kitchen is very basic and not equipped. Stairs to 2nd floor are quite steep - perhaps not suitable for kids. We had to ask for pool towels and would have enjoyed cushions for the sun loungers and outdoor sitting area. Fridge was pretty dirty, although I am sure it would have been cleaned had we asked.

The staff were very friendly and professional, so lovely with our child. Recommend the free activities at the hotel, we were taken on a walk to a local rice paddy and taught to make offerings. I also liked the way they were more eco conscious with refillable mineral water tanks

I little more attention to detail in bathrooms would be nice, repairing shower heads, etc

We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa for a week. It was spacious, comfortable and private. There was a private pool in the villa and a larger pool in the hotel side to use. The latter was particularly nice to swim in. The general neighbourhood is nice with many restaurants within walking distance and many others a short drive away. Behind the villa is a small path that leads to a pleasant walk through the rice fields. The property is on a side road so is was quiet. Unfortunately the main road the hotel is close to does not have sidewalks or streetlights making it somewhat dangerous to access the restaurants on that strip in the evening. It is better to get around by scooter if you are comfortable with it. It is also possible to get a scooter ride from a rideshare app.

The property wasn't maintained or cleaned as well as we would have liked though overall the property was good value for the money. The kitchen did not have enough supplies, e.g. pots and utensils, to actually cook. The power went out at least 3 times in the villa when we were there but it didn't pose any problems for us as it was quickly fixed.

My experience at this hotel was exceptional. The highlight of this hotel is the staff's attention. From the reception team to the housekeeping staff, everyone was extremely kind and helpful. They were always willing to provide recommendations and make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made a difference. The service, facilities, and cleanliness exceeded all my expectations. Without a doubt, I give them 5 stars and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly rewarding experience.

Room was very large and shower and bathroom was very beautifully designed and spacious. This sounds silly but I thoroughly enjoyed showering and bathing here. Breakfast was also fantastic. Reception was manned 24/7 - no concerns about missing check-in time!

Lots of harmless wildlife inside your room and around the hotel corridors. I liked the geckos (cute) but the tiny fruit flies around the shower and the ants were a little annoying. No mosquitoes or spiders. Also this isn't really the hotel's fault but the surrounding streets outside the hotel are not pedestrian friendly. Even though this hotel is close to the popular streets (i.e. Jalan Monkey Forest), please avoid walking around at night as it is dangerous (because of the cars and gravel, not the people). Take a Grab and drive for 5 mins instead.

Loved the double story 2 bedroom private villa with pool. Breakfast included was great but need to improve on the coffee and tea. Lovely facilities, including pool🤣 massage and surroundings. Good value for money and lovely staff. We enjoyed our stay.

Very disappointed in the villas kitchen. Should be equipped with more updated kitchen items, decent cloths and sponges to do dishes. Poor quality complimentary coffee and tea. Provide some decent milk for coffee etc. Need to provide ice cube trays. We needed to ask for one but nothing would freeze as the freezer was so full of ice it wouldn't close. Need to defrost your freezers. Need to be able to keep things frozen. Kitchen was quite run down. Provide a few more mats on the front area going into the outdoor kitchen as it gets slippery.

Good value for money, we stay in new building suit room paid more but room was big and pool to ourself. Sylvia the manager was excellent. Pande and subhadra was very hospitable and sweet. They all helped us made our stay comfortable. Housekeeping was good but cleaning was not upto the mark. There is guy Wayne just outside to hire the bike and then roam around. There are lovely cafe and place just drive away to visit. Ubud city is just 8 mins scooter ride.

Food and service is terrible, go out and eat and don't have food and don't include breakfast either. Just walk five mins down the road to smile cafe, shanti does wonderful breakfast. Pool was never cleaned and area was bit run down and dirty . Need more looking after. Upstairs area is waste and can be done better, I guess staff need to be innovative to promote more. Should provide free shuttle to town. They charge £ 5 .

The location is absolutely fantastic—a true oasis of relaxation, complete with a pool, a restaurant with a view, and a spa with massage services. I especially loved the outdoor shower, even though I was always a bit nervous about encountering a lizard companion—luckily, that never happened! I had my own little villa with a kitchenette, a terrace, a fridge, and a spacious room with an en-suite bathroom. I read other reviews about the location being far, for me it wasn’t. It’s very close to the center, not exactly on the main street but it was always a nice walk or ride on scooter. I also have to mention the staff, who were absolutely wonderful and welcoming, always with a smile on their faces. They definitely deserve a raise! Haha.

The room could use some improvements, as the walls were peeling and showed signs of water damage, but aside from that, I really enjoyed my stay here.

The service and staff were brilliant. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Place was very clean. Breakfast was ordered the night before and was delicious, plenty of choice and a great size. Shared pool was lovely. Lots of plants and greenery around-just be aware of snakes. Staff quickly dealt with the snake that we encountered.

The location was further out of the main town than we anticipated and there was no shuttle bus which was advertised on booking.com. Due to the traffic in Ubud, this meant a 45-60minute taxi drive to Ubud. This affected our stay because as a family, we had to rely on kore taxi cars than anticipated.
