The place itself was magical and very close to nature. U can do morning walk in the hotel, everything was authentic and calming here. The staffs and their hospitality wins everything. They are very kind and helpful. They helped to pack our breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning for sunrise trip. The breakfast is good and lovable, the bed is comfy and the room is rather rustic, woody style and they have an open concept toilet with their own organic soap and shampoo. The water pressure and aircond in the room are good too. Overall, i really enjoy the calming Ubud vibe here.

We were here during the rainy season. 1. The path to reach the hotel is quite far from outside, we had no option but to do the walking in rain but we were helped by staffs with our baggage. Beware as there were frogs everywhere too :D 2. Our room accidentally leak causing the bed to be wet. We had to move our bags at area with no leakage. Anyhow, the staffs manage to move our bed and later we were offered to be placed at another room. They even offer us few desserts as n apology. Thanks to the staffs for their help and great hospitality.

The beautiful gardens and pool. The food was also beyond amazing and there were heaps of gluten free options. Very healthy but delicious, I feel like I did a detox without really realising! The staff were all beautiful people; we will keep in touch with several of them.

Cinta room smelled a little bit musty or mouldy but it’s so humid all the time so it’s not surprising. I think we stayed longer than the average guests so there weren’t really enough racks for drying bathers or other hand washed items, we had to drape them around on the balcony etc. In hindsight we should have just used the laundry service more because it was so cheap. Also the system for replacing bath and beach towels seemed a bit haphazard and we had to ask for fresh towels a couple of times.

Swasti is beautifully landscaped with fruit trees, a lotus pond, and has working gardens that supply a lot of the food for the restaurant. It feels authentic to Bali, not a sterile resort vibe.

Nothing!

Set amongst beautiful gardens in a quiet neighbourhood of Nyuh Kuning and close to the Monkey Forest; Swasti Eco was a great place for me to travel alone and feel rested and looked after. Waking up to a thermos of hot water with a choice of local coffee or organic site grown tea to enjoy on my outdoor daybed supported me through my early rise, meditation and yoga practice on my own before I sauntered down to the restaurant where a nutritious breakfast is served all included in the room rate. The food is really delicious and clean. Organic ingredients are derived partly from their own garden on site. The area is a residential area mostly for expats so there are some lovely restaurants right outside and down a block or two. There are a handful of gift stores selling fabric, homewares and medicinal herbs. The main hustle and bustle of shops in the main part of Ubud is just a short ride away on a scooter or car (Gojek or Grab are their local version of Uber).

I hadn't realised that the traditional room meant that the walls did not go all the way up to the roof/ceiling. This meant a lot of mosquitoes for me unfortunately. The staff were very kind to give me their own brewed herbal insect repellant and would light incense outside of my room to prevent them further and this did help. There are other rooms which are sealed. I'll know to book that next time.

Overall, our stay at Swasti was exceptional. The property feels like a hidden oasis in the city of Ubud. While the busy and noisy city center is a bit farther away, the area where Swasti is located is peaceful. The Monkey Forest is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, and there are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as a co-working space right next door.

Overall, everything was great, and the cons are really minor—definitely not reasons to avoid booking at Swasti. Breakfast is included with your stay, though the portions could be larger. Additionally, there is no air conditioning in the room, and there are no blackout curtains, so light sleepers might wake up early with daylight.

The staff is beyond friendly to make you feel at home. The rooms are really spacious and so beautiful, we even had a private pond. The whole hotel has a peaceful atmosphere. The spa is recommended as well. So good to get more eco-conscious places on this very polluted island.

Not the hotels fault, but Ubud as a region was very busy and touristy, it was difficult to walk around the streets here because of all the cars and motorbikes. The food was good in the hotel, except for the BBQ that was organised one evening.

Wonderful breakfast, exceptional garden, utmost kindness of the staff, naturally made cottages, filtered water in the room, coffee tea tray placed in the morning on the table of our cottage terrace, meal themes, swimming pool for the kids. I really had a wonderful time here and was sad to leave the place because it felt so peaceful and beautiful to be there, right in the middle of overexcited-Ubud.

As a family of 5 in one room, we wish we had at least one more bathroom (toilet and sink) because it took longer to get ready (but I wouldn't change it for anywhere else : the place is worth it) Sometimes we can still hear the noise of the city even if the road is not close to the cottage (but a look at the garden and I was peaceful again...)... and nature can be loud too 🤣

It was a really beautiful spot! It was like staying in the jungle. There were lots of trees, flowers and plants everywhere. I also really enjoyed the organic garden which you can walk around. It’s got an authentic, wholesome feel and the location is perfect. It’s close enough to the centre but far enough away that it’s quiet and the streets are less hectic. The food is lovely, healthy and reasonably priced. It was great to get the breakfast included option and have a slow morning eating at the cafe and enjoying the surrounding nature. The staff are also very helpful and friendly! I really enjoyed my stay here.

Nothing!

So naturally is everything. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious. There are so many animals. The bath is very cute with open style

The light in the bungalow is very poor. When I made the reservation the photos for bungalow with climactic were with separatet 2rooms or second floor and received the bungalow with 1room for 4people with 3beds(1double and 2 single) The staff said that all other bungalow are the same(but our friends were in the bungalow next to us and it was with separated rooms. Maybe it was right to gave me information about the types of rooms( the reservation was made more than 5 months before arriving 🤔)

The location is very quiet; lovely area for walking with other cafes etc but still close to everything. Rooms were well separated, private with nice outdoor areas. Pool, garden, ponds and cafe all wonderful Yoga shala with classes most days are a bonus. Cafe served excellent food and drinks. Hot coffee/tea delivery to room first thing was a sweet touch. Beds were really comfortable with high quality linen. Reading lights were appreciated.

Some of the families at the pool upset the ambience, by screaming and yelling, despite the signs requestng calm.
