A traditional B & B/guest-house in a lovely house in the village. Location perfect for visiting the Coalbrookdale attractions only a short stroll away. Run by lovely folk for whom nothing (within reason!) is too much trouble. Excellent breakfast. Evening meal was available, if booked in advance, but we didn't take up the offer so cannot comment. NB there is a village pub, just up the road, which offers a decent pint but no food.

Nothing really but would-be bookers need to be aware that the rooms are upstairs with fairly steep stairs (no lift) - may be a little challenging for some.

Good location with parking. Hosts were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. Nice room overlooking garden, bathroom was huge with great shower and lovely decor. Amazing breakfast, scrambled eggs were the best I’ve had with plenty of smoked salmon. Partner’s full English very tasty with good quality ingredients.

Very steep stairs to room. The king size sleigh bed was extremely creaky! Would have liked an option of grapefruit or fruit salad before main breakfast as I don’t like cereal.

Everything! From the moment we walked in to this beautiful building we were made very welcome. Our room was like something out of a period drama - but with all modcons. The bed was so comfortable we just nodded off right away. Plenty of storage in the lovely period furniture - loved the teacups, so much nicer than big chunky mugs. Our bathroom was just. . Wow! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, served with lots of tea & toast. If you want fine dining then this is the place - our evening meal was just superb. Very much recommend the duck. Mmm When we come to Ironbridge again we shall be staying here!

We weren't keen on . . er. . Um. . Well, nothing. Can't think of a single thing. Oh yes, we didn't like having to leave this wonderful place!

Dawn is very welcoming and the atmosphere of the house is lovely. The room was very clean and cosy. The ensuite is large in comparison to other places we've been. Breakfast is tasty and my husband loves the black pudding she has shipped in from Scotland. She's very accommodating and friendly. This is our second visit and certainly not our last. We will be back next year for another comfy, cozy weekend break.

On a cold and snowy day we appreciated the warmth and cosiness of the property. Loved the range of options for breakfast. The bacon was particularly tasty. Opted to eat in for dinner. Great selection on the menu. Food was lovely - good honest food and plenty of it. We would recommend trying Dawn's cooking. Friendly hosts. Easy walk down into the Wharfage and all that Ironbridge has to offer.

Great location, well placed for the local attractions. Our host Dawn, was great and made us feel very welcome. The breakie.was fantastic, particularly with a bit of a dietary need.

If we came back again, I would book a larger room, the smaller room was compact. The shower took a few attempts get the temperaure balance just right. Might be worth looking at a small communal lounge for guests.

Owner really nice and breakfast was very good. More than enough choice and the cooked breakfast was a nice surprise. The bedroom was what you should expect in a victorian house not very big but well equipped with a huge bathroom on suite. For me the stand out was how comfortable the bed was and a great sleep. Location was a bit out of town but you know that when you book and to be fair it meant it was peaceful. If you want a peaceful pleasant place to stay over look no further

The TV took a bit of getting used to but there are full detailed instruction on how to operate it. So guess it's down to being a bit lazy if I'm honest.

The hosts were lovely and welcoming. Off road parking. The house was cosy and warm. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom very big with great shower. The breakfast was outstanding. Well worth the money.

As I was there for work, I would have liked a chair in the room. There are a number of steps from the car park and an outside light would have been good.

A lovely stay at this pretty and well located house. Dawn made this a memorable stay with her warm welcome, excellent cooking and attention to detail. We loved the jolly atmosphere she brought to our stay with great conversation between herself, her husband and the other guests. Our room was comfortable with a quality mattress, nicely furnished and the ensuite clean with excellent facilities. Dinner at the Foundry Masters House should not be missed, Dawn is an accomplished cook...delicious!

Everything was great so my comment is a purely personal one. We were in the small bedroom and felt that it had been compromised too much by the large bathroom, consequently, the wall was very tight to the bed. Also, would have liked one set of the pillows to have been feather as the foam ones are too bulky for me.

The room was comfortable and warm. Dawn was friendly, helpful and able to answer questions about the local area . The location of the house was a short drive into Ironbridge itself. There was an option for an evening meal if required.

The steps up to the front door and the staircase up to our room was struggle for my husband. A separate area for the tea making facilities would have been nice as the side table couldn't be used for anything else.
