Mustapha ! His people Hamid ! The crew ! Everyone 💛The trip to the camp! 🐫 ! Best option if you want to experience and explore the Sahara Mustapha is super honest ! I read a review about Him and I did not hesitate to book it ! We arrive at the place relax talk ti Him about how to get in the camp , all set €25 round trip one hour and a half ! ( I have an spinal fusion I ask about the camel ride very gentle!) by camel 🐫, exactly, we talk about how they take care the animals , and all also practices of conservation at the desert . Since they grew up there as nomads they care 🫶, When you arrive irnos beautiful place nestle inside a Dune , I look other places and I can see their location more money , bad location, if you make a trip like this you want 💯 experience! We stayed 2 days , the tents are simple , beautiful fabric inside , the share bathroom women super clean ! Great shower 🚿. Food was fresh and delicious . So if you all ready spend all this time like me reding a million reviews and all just book it ! The fire at night with traditional drums music , sun rise .
I love everything, like someone wrote I came to see and experience the desert 🐪

Staying in Mustapha Camp was a perfect experience. First, we drove from the car park to the camp by 4x4 (25€ per person, if you want to go there by camel - it’s 20€ per person). Fresh mint tea was served just after our arrival. Then, we had a delicious dinner (chicken tajine, vegetable salad, bread and grapes). After dinner, it was time for entertainment - Berber music and dance around the fireplace. Next day, they served traditional breakfast. Our tent was clean and very spacious - there was electricity, private shower and toilet. You have also access to the Wi-Fi. Really recommend this place!

We were a family of 7 and after reading all the reviews we decided to book. This camp was one of the few tgat had one big tent with private bathroom for all of us. Most of the camps had separate tents for us but this one was big for our family and we could all sleep in the same tent. Dinner was delicious and so much food! service was excellent, the people super friendly and they all make you feel at home. Mustapha and the crew were all super nice. Even before heading to the camps they cooked some food for us to eat and was good! Would definitely recommend!!
Everything was great!

First time in dessert was magical for us. They welcomed us at the hotel where is meeting point and transferred to camp by camels. Hamid who is camel guide is very kind person and took photos among the dunes. Room was clean and enough for a night. Staff is also kind and helpful. Foods are very delicious. You have 2 options to reach camp. By camels for going and return is 20 € per person, By 4x 4 is 25 € per person
Nothing, everything was guite enough for a night and amazing experience

Looks better than in pictures. Amazing staff. Free sandboard. Campfire after the dinner. Very climatic stay. Big, comfortable beds. Noone has tried to scum us.
You need ro be aware that the transfer is not included in price and the prices of transfer are high (sample for single person, both ways: 20€ for camel, 30€ for jeep, 35 for mix) and may varray as there is no fixed pricelist

It is a fantastic camp, run by wonderful people. We had a perfect two night stay. Comfortable tents, the most delicious breakfast and dinner cooked by the extremely kind and talented chef, Hamid. The camel ride led by Hassan was amazing. Mustapha took us on a jeep tour to see local nomad berbers, mines, old city, african community where we enjoyed traditional music and tea. The only regret we have is that we didn’t stay one more day.

I liked everything starting from pick up point to back at drop off location. Camel ride was excellent but at the cost of extra €20 per person. Hamid was really good at providing hospitality at campsite. Camp location is really good in between sand dunes. Tents were excellent with enough blankets and comfy beds with clean shower. Obviously can't expect more water in middle of desert. Morning sunrise was beautiful. Dinner and breakfast were fresh and hot.

It was an amazing place to stay. We stayed there for 2 nights. Camel ride, tour by 4x4. Everything we did at Mustapha Camp was life long memories for our family. Also, food was the best Moroccan dish we had in our trip. Than you so much.

The experience of the camp is truly Amazing. I highly recommend to do the camel ride as you can enjoy while riding the stunning dunes of the Merzouga desert. Dinner and breakfast are included which is a very good value for the price. The staff is truly friendly and let us feel part of their family. At night they play music around the fire and together we did stargazing. I definetely recommend the Mustapha camp, personally if I have to go back I would go back with them!

+ whatever time you arrive in Merzoga don’t dismiss the locals standing by the city gate. Just mention Mustapha and they will give him a call and let him know that you are there (brilliant idea). Restaurant Dakar is a starting point for your desert experience. + after couple of minutes we were escorted to Mustapha house on the edge of the dunes, where you can refresh while waiting for the rest of the group - sipping local tea (private rooms, communal space, shower, WC at your disposal). If arriving by car you will leave it there. + camel ride was brilliant, first you go parallel to the main road but next you literally cross the desert to get to the camp (ask your guide to take you few pictures on the way). All in all with a sunset stop it took us ~2h to get there and a bit shorter to come back. Round trip costed us €20 per person. We departed at 17:30 to catch the sunset in the middle of the desert. + at the camp you have all the amenities you need for the night (4x WC, 4x shower, sheltered and un-sheltered eating space + tents are designed for 6 people with a separation in the middle (3+3). As there wasn’t many people we had it all for ourselves + dinner was server at 21:30. It was really delicious and there was plenty of it (Royal Salad, Chicken tagine and fruits). Breakfast quite simple but typical for Morocco was served at 07:30. + 11pm we were invited for a berber music evening around the campfire + huge thank you to Hamid for very warm welcome, we enjoyed every second
+/- no WiFi at the house where you wait for the rest of the group but Mustapha can share his hotspot if you really need to connect with the outside world - WiFi at the camp is a bit of hit and miss, tbh we didn’t expect it anyway in the middle of the desert ~30km from Algeria
