The staff were helpful and flexible (including accommodating early check-in after a desert camp night). We enjoyed the pool and the ability to essentially walk out of the kasbah into the dunes.

It would have been great if the windows had screens. Wifi could be stronger (gets weak in certain areas/with a lot of users).

The location is great. We walked to the dunes within 5 min. The room was spacious and the shower and toilet were sufficiently clean. The water was hot. Breakfast was superb. Dinner was nice, but portions could have been bigger.

Everything was nice, but compared to other 4 star hotels, reduce your expectations a little.

Lovely Kasbah with very large rooms, and lovely dining room and seating areas around the pool, also in the gardens and roof terraces, where you can watch the sun go down over the dunes. Staff were amazing, especially Barrack and Youssef, who went out of their way to provide genuine friendly service. The location is excellent, we walked into the dunes and climbed the tallest dune, and then enjoyed relaxing next to the pool in the warm sun later in the afternoon! Great place, couldnt recommend it more!!

It was a nice place and staffs of the hotel were so friendly and helpful ,especially Mr. Muhammed helped us.He recommended a lot of places and there were so good. And also the hotel was so clean and ıt has good atmosphere near dune.If you want to rest and travel the Sahara dune,ıt will be the best option.

I ended up choosing this place after have booked an activity at the desert where the meeting point would be in this hotel and I couldn't be happier with my whole experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure every need was met. They even came to pick us up at the bus and arranged a taxi to the airport for our return flight. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and designed with both good taste and comfort. I especially appreciated the thoughtful details, like the comfortable mattresses, the good quality linens and towels. The outstanding breakfas truly made mornings enjoyable and the dinner was pleasing — the meals were both tasty and beautifully presented. The pool area felt like an oasis, perfect for relaxation on chaise longe with beach towels available for free. I've been in many places across Morocco and I would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed in the Dune House which was a fantastic location right on the dunes. We had Aziz look after us for our stay and he was amazing. He really made our stay special. We also did a few excursions that were very good.

The air conditioning could have been stronger. The one unit in the large dune house family room only cooled a limited area. The area around the pool was looking a bit tired. There was quite a lot of maintenance happening during our stay around the pool which was unfortunate.

Kasbah Mohayut is an exceptional hotel directly facing the Dunes of Merzouga. As my Supratours bus didn’t arrive in Merzouga until 8:25 PM, late due to road work en route from Marrakech, I texted via Booking.com to make sure the hotel’s van driver would meet my bus. Upon arrival in a desolate bus stop, the first thing I heard was voice of the driver reading out my name. He put my bags into the car and within five minutes I was checking in at reception. Bravo aHassan! I was with my brother and our room turned out to be a large suite with three rooms: the bedroom had excellent air-conditioning and sufficient lighting and plugs for several electronic devices. The bedroom also had two Queen-size beds. As you entered our suite from the huge swimming pool courtyard, we had a large sitting area with two sofas and a closet with small refrigerator that was enough to keep our bottles of water ice cold, or frozen, if placed in the ice freezer. The breakfasts were buffets, but quite good with eggs, yoghurts, orange juice, lots of hot coffee, breads, marmalades, etc. The dinners were served in a large garden courtyard at comfortable tables set under a bamboo canopy surrounded by greenery. Again, the servers were great. Youssef, in particular, was extra attentive and polite. He and the driver and another waiter all spoke good English.

I missed having television with some English or European channels, but perhaps that would have disturbed the utter peacefulness of the place and also due to the remote location reception might be poor.

You really are welcomed and made comfortable right away. We were a family of 4, wanting to first camp one night in the desert. Then, to check in at Mohayut the next morning. I highly recommend booking with Mohayut and let them know that you'd like them to organize a camel ride and camping through them in your messages. This allows for very smooth communication!! We arrived at 5:00pm. The kids immediately jumped in the pool and we put our valuables in a secure room in reception. At 6pm, we were picked up for camel ride and camping. Everything was planned well and communication was very clear. (For 50$ pp): We rode camels to the desert, sand boarded, watched the sunset, then rode further to our camp. Dinner was served promptly, then music around a fire. Breakfast was at 7am the next morning and then we were driven back to the hotel and we're able to get into our room right away. I highly recommend doing this instead of booking a camp separate from the hotel. It was such a great relaxing day at the hotel. A perfect rest between Marrakech and Fes.

The beds were a bit hard, but that's typical for Morocco.

The property is quite nice - albeit dusty and a bit worn in - but luxurious for the area. Breakfast was included but lacking protein - mostly Moroccan pastries, with a little lackluster fruit. Dinner was good. The best part was our large room with windows on either side and a bench and table area. The pool was pretty but I did not have a chance to try it out. Loved the camel fountain! Parking is good and protected. I would stay here again.

The breakfast was so so considering the price for the hotel.
