The breakfast was minimal but adequate. Plenty of hot and cold drinks available. Enough fridges to store own food. The seating areas very comfortable. I loved The dead sea toiletries and nothing was too much trouble for Mike when I met him and on WhatsApp. Thank you Mike.

On arrival being an elderly lady, but in good health and strength, found the stairs difficult to manage with a heavy case on my own. The hot water in the flask upstairs was not replaced so had to go down in the mornings and evenings.

Very pleased that there was a small personal refrigerator. Very quiet. Strong shower and clean bathroom. I liked the self service drinks fridge. You show tremendous trust when you leave a cup for payment. Means you trust that the drink will be paid for and that no one will take the cash that was paid! Kol Hakavod

I couldn't get the TV working. Mike responded quickly to my request for help. He walked me through it but still no luck. The WIFI was strong enough so we happily watched a movie on our laptop. Mike said he would take care of it immediately. Just a recommendation: have a page printed with instructions as how to use the TV/Netflixs. Not everyone is familiar with how to work this media system.

Mike went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. He even upgraded my room and arranged for my airport transport. The room and the entire home was super clean (and I have high standards!). Mike's check-in directions were very easy to follow and the entire experience was very easy and smooth. The location was perfect for me and Mike was very responsive to all my questions pre and post booking.

I came with more luggage than the usual solo-traveler. The room didn't have much room for my extra bags - but I knew that would be an issue going in so I expected it, so no complaints on my end. Just a heads up for those who come with lots of luggage.

I loved my stay at Mike's hose, it exceeded all my expectations. Mike is a great host, he could help with any questions I had. He went above and beyond to make my stay in Jerusalem unforgettable. My room was very clean and quite. Shower worked perfectly, no issues with hot water. Location is outside of the center but there are many buses and it was not an issue to get to the center. Also there are many nice restaurants around the guest house. On the kitchen you could find tea, coffee and cakes. On Shabbat you can walk to Israel museum (just 30 min).

It was fantastic. Mike is a wonderful person who takes care of everything. He manages the house perfectly, which is of unmatched charm and comfort in the area, and even in the world! I adore his perspective on things and his way of doing things, it's extremely pleasant and friendly. It feels like being in a small community.

There is nothing unpleasant about this hotel. Everything has been thoughtfully done and adapted to offer us the best experience. I love this concept and it should be more widely extended with genuine empathy and kindness for all guests.

First and foremost, Mike! He’s the star of this place. Honestly, if you are an avid traveler and you are a little homesick, this place will make you feel like you’re back at home but still in a great city like Jerusalem. Mike attends to everything and is genuine. We were a large family with a lot of requests. Nothing was too hard or too much. He didn’t rest until we were super comfortable. We felt so good and welcome. The facilities have a homey feel and the cleanliness is top notch. It’s been a long time since I really can recommend a place wholeheartedly like this place. Thanks again for a memorable weekend!

I loved everything. Just heads up, there are a lot of straits if you’re not o the ground floor. But just request in advance.

Mike the owner was very friendly and helpful with Al kind of questions, I asked the most about traveling and busses and so on. There was also the co host and he too was very friendly and nice. We had a good understanding and talked about a lot of things in life. The whole place breathed out a very relaxed atmosphere . It look like Al the quest who visited this place have the same relexed mood. In any way the time I was there.

There were some construction works at that time. I was in room 0 and they were busy right beside me. But Mike also tried to make it a bit less inconvenient, and he treated me with chocolates and a late check out.

the communication with the owner was great. we entered from the back and didn't see there's a shared very equiped kitchen. we asked the owner on WhatsApp for some kitchen related things and they brought it straight to our room, didn't even mention we can just go and take.. so that was really nice. In the morning we saw there was a cute yard, the kids liked it. all in all, we a good stay :)

Mike is everything you could wish for and more! Not only did he let us stay way after checkout time (due to unexpected reasons specific for the time and circumstances of our stay) but he also took care of my hunger while I was working downstairs and was not able to get food myself. Besides Mike himself, I slept like a baby the beds are super comfy! Loved the complementary Netflix and chill ;) And just about everything in this place. We will be back! Thank you Mike!

Quiet neighborhood, tidy and clean inside and out. Immaculate. Available parking outside. Rooms are quiet, with a very comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The curtains allow for sleeping in late. Mike is very friendly and knowledgeable.
