We stayed in the beautiful penthouse apartment with wonderful view. Spotlessly clean and well cared-for. Superb location in the heart of the old town. Parking was easy to find.

The only minor issue we had was a lack of blackout blinds in the main bedroom. We woke very early each day due to the room being very bright. Also, the second, smaller bedroom has no a/c, and it did get quite hot at night. Not related to the property itself but…. if you arrive by car, the car park is located at the top of a steep hill, so returning there with your bags is a little challenging (but only a few minutes of climbing!).

Our Ohrid trip was great and Villa Varosh played an very important role on this. I dont know where to start but I have to say that communication was great before we arrived the place. I received very quick replies to all my questions. Place was great, very clean. But I have to underline this; Maybe it is cleaner than any place which I stayed till today. We booked 2 rooms and both of them are great. Beds, pillows, blankets… They are all very comfortable. Location is also very good. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Ohrid.

Everything was fantastic! Beautiful and well-maintained property with tastefully decorated rooms. Easy but secure check-in system and access to the property. Great location in the old town, close to the lake and a handful of excellent restaurants. The owner (Slavica) was extremely kind and let me contact my family using her phone as mine had broken during my trip. Highly recommend Villa Varosh!

Minor point and may have been the taxi company - the taxi that the host booked for me never showed up, so I had to start walking to the bus station early in the morning on the day of my departure. Luckily I managed to find another taxi and made it in time for my bus back to Skopje.

This was my best experience. Starting from how administrative greeted me and ending with how they said goodbye to me. It’s not for nothing that they say that the devil is in the details. Everything in this villa is made with love, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. I’m Ukrainian, and when, at the entrance to my apartment, I saw a sign with the flag of my country and the inscription in my native language “Ласкаво просимо” I was even confused from surprise. Near the bed I found a sign with a QR code, which you can click on to find recommendations for restaurants and attractions. Downstairs at the reception you can use a beautiful map of the area for free, or take an umbrella at the entrance in case of bad weather. And when you check out, the landlady will give you a magnet as a souvenir. Why am I not telling you about the room now, but because it is beautiful, and it is 100% consistent with the photos and its price. But all these million details that will surround you indicate that you will feel very comfortable. Many thanks to the management of the villa, keep it up!!

I cannot recommend this property enough. Lake Ohrid is so beautiful but difficult to get to for international travelers. The accommodation helped us find transport before and during our stay and they were so kind to us throughout. The property is located in the stunning Old Town, it has beautiful views of the lake and it is extremely modern and comfortable. There is a great common room with complimentary coffee. The value for money is outstanding in Europe.

Everything, I never seen a more detailed villa than this one. There were no staff at all, you had to get the key from the box with a personalized pin, then the kitchen and everything in there, you could use it. The room was very clean, the view was perfect, in the room, there was a QR code, when I generated it, I found all the information about the property, Ohrid, best places to eat, best places to visit and a lot of things. Also there is parking very near the property, free parking, and the property was 100-200 meters from the Ohrid centre.

There is nothing to complain about this property, everything was fine.

I traveled to Ohrid for the Ohrid Ultra Trail running race, and was there with my wife and daughter. Last year we were station in the city, but this year we wanted to stay in the Old town, near the lake - and we choose the right place to stay. Villa Varosh is located in a quite area, with restaurants and attractions just around the corner. The place looks like it was built yesterday and it makes sense in a way, because the owners seem to put a great deal of care to keep it fresh and clean. The rooms were comfy, clean, and there were so many hidden storage compartments for the clothes - all without breaking the great interior design patterns/layout of the room. Again, I just can't stop mentioning how clean and orderly it was. The place breathed pure old Ohrid, with lovely hosts who were there and willing to help out with anything - we had to take our daughter for a quick check-up at the local hospital and they helped us with the information we needed, and were genuinely keen on helping even more. Our family felt good, safe, and we enjoyed our time there. Can't wait for next year.

This hotel is super central to everything (restaurants, major churches), and is really clean and beautiful. I even had a wonderful balcony and view of the lake (though partial). Nice coffee and cookies in the kitchen downstairs, and very attentive staff.

Warning about enter town could be better...though it is pretty direct. I missed the parking spots outside the wall of the town and foolishly entered the town. GPS got confused and I got lost in a town where the streets have 2 inches on each side. Finally found the nearby parking and by luck a spot but regret it. Park outside of town wall and carry a light bag in!

All instructions for self check in were well detailed and provided in advance however when I arrived I was met and shown to my room by the owner. I stayed in room 201 and had the best view over the lake. Quiet room too. Room is spacious. Bed comfortable. Beautiful smelling toiletries were provided. Also communal room downstairs for coffee/tea. Front door is locked to public and need a fob to get in for extra security which I liked. I had a car and was fortunate to get parking in their Upper Gate parking which was offered. The lovely owner then offered me a lift with my bags up to the carpark at check out which was much appreciated as its a steep and long hill otherwise. Great position for walking to St Jonan church and then to the center. Not far at all. Would definitely recommend to others. Did not disappoint

The view and balcony of the room was the best I have ever seen! The overall room was gorgeous and the tea/coffee facilities downstairs were really great! The place is just a little treasure that is so perfect!

On our penultimate night, we clicked the button for a full room clean the next morning including cleaning our sheets and towels. However, when we returned that day we found our room had not been cleaned. It was slightly annoying but did not really effect our stay.
