Incredible stay for a weekend at this gem in the Alps. The room was absolutely lovely, super clean and tastefully decorated, with the best shower and comfortable bed that I have seen in awhile at a hotel. The breakfast spread was definitely a proper one - tons of options and is open nice and early, perfect for trekking. The location is also convenient to start hiking from on the various routes in the areas.

The best part was for sure breakfast: high quality, tasty food, and coffee, perfect to kick off a full day of hiking. The room was spacious, the balcony had a nice view, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were tidied up every day. It was great to have a minibar, too.

Our room had a sloping roof and my partner is 196cm tall, so it wasn't that comfortable for him (We didn't think of requesting a room without it when we booked, though). Also, the stairwell was a little too low for him, he hit his head a couple of times when walking downstairs :(

A lovely family run hotel in a great location within Garmisch-Partenkirchen. You could not ask for anything better. Very comfortable beds, modern rooms and bathroom, great views, an outstanding breakfast. The family owners and staff could not do enough for you. A great outside seating area to enjoy the drinks from the honesty bar. Our stay was definitely memorable in every way as we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in this fabulous place.

Very friendly and professional staff. I has a single room that was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was updated and shower was nice. Breakfast was great. Location was also good. The room had dorm style frig which was nice and convenient. The Balcony was nice with good views over the surrounding buildings. Value was good, would stay there again.

Parking on hotel proper was not really available, had to park on street and that was also tough to find a spot. Room was a little warm or stuffy, no A/C or fan. While the balcony door opened as well as top opened the street lights were noticable in the room. I think a room on the 2nd floor would provide better veiws and prohaps better air circulation.

Room 28 was excellent, there was a separate sitting area and a view of the mountains. Shower was fantastic and the beds were super comfy. There was also a fridge and a safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Location was perfect for us as it was only a 5 minute walk to the train and bus station. I would recommend a stay at this hotel.

Wi-Fi was very slow and a bit unreliable which was the only downside of this hotel.

We liked the location which is close to Garmish railway station and Zugpitze train station and main bus-stand, the staff was smiling and helping, the breakfast was elaborate and tummyfull, cleanliness was maintained all through. And the breathtaking view of mountains...

No services after 7 pm being a family run hotel. Our room was cramped up, no free space, sloping ceiling in room takes away space to move, no proper directions given on phone to reach the hotel( as our net on mobile was not working)

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Reception has an open fire which was very nice after the days excursion. Perfect location near to train station etc. Lots to see on foot if you enjoy walking/hiking. Beautiful town with lovely shops and wonderful coffee shops and plenty of restaurants serving local cuisine.

Nothing. Everything was easy and organised. For us, it was just perfect. We will definitely be returning again ….. and again!

Everything! If you are planning to take a bus to visit linderhof or the neuwanstein castle, ask the staff about the visitor pass and all the bus fees are free! Location: When you get off from the train station, turn right and keep going straight for 5 mins, and you will see the hotel!

Everything was perfect, such a nice hotel, exactly what you expect from a mountain hotel. Well decorated rooms with a nice terrace, breakfast had also everything one needs to start a good day. We would definitely come back here if we can.

The keybox didn’t work and we had to call the owner, but it all ended up well.
