The staff are very helpful. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained - this pub was renovated a few years back and they clearly did not penny pinch in making the rooms stylish and comfortable. Beds are like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast is excellent, some hotels are annoying cutting down on breakfast things like fresh fruit. Not the case here, lots of lovely well-cooked breakfast option and fresh fruit (lovely sweet melon in winter was a treat!). In general this pub is an excellent stay. Well done to management & staff.

Pretty pricey compared to a 'usual' pub stay. But in fairness this feels more like a boutique hotel than a pub.

Lovely decor; lots of little touches like Classic FM on low as we entered and access to a private lounge on our floor. When I booked, the room was described as a Petite Double, but if that was petite, the normal room must be massive! Two comfortable chairs and a standard lamp, as well as a tall cupboard and a large chest of drawers, but plenty of room to move around! It was a shame we didn’t have a chance to try the restaurant for an evening meal, because breakfast was delicious. Will definitely come again!

Our only niggle was that in the morning we couldn’t get hot water from the sink tap; my husband had to boil a kettle to have his shave. However when we mentioned this on check out, the manager promised us a discount for our next booking.

The room was fabulous, superking bed, sofa, huge bathroom with great stand alone bath and massive shower, filtered water and complementary sloe gin and brandy in a decanter plus complementary whisky in the quiet lounge. It was stunning. Also the food was outstanding. The meal I had in the evening was some of the best food I have eaten in a long time, it was perfect. Breakfast was also superb, a huge selection of fruit and pastries, all really fresh, and lovely choices on the menu for the hot selection. The young manageress (blonde haired lady)dealt with the staff issues we had very well and was very understanding.

Unfortunately the waitresses at both dinner and breakfast were inattentive and poorly trained (or not trained at all). The Waitress at dinner made a mistake on the food order as a result of not knowing the menu and then instead of apologising made me feel as if it was my fault and that I had ordered the wrong thing. I understand mistakes happen but she didn't acknowledge that it was her mistake not mine. It spoilt what otherwise was a superb meal in lovely surroundings. I myself work as a commis Waitress in a 4 star gastro pub so I do understand the job and what is required. The first thing is to know the menu and put customer service as your top priority. However the management dealt with the issue very professionally.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the George and Dragon, Westerham is charming. Our twin room was spacious, tastefully decorated, super comfy, warm and spotlessly clean. Although not sloe gin or whiskey drinkers the complementary tipples on offer are a lovely touch. We loved both the large powerful shower and products provided. Classic FM playing in the background as you enter your room is just a small thing, but for me they make a stay more memorable.

Although breakfast was worth the wait, service by the solo waitress was extremely slow and did feel a little disorganised.

Breakfast was included and as with all English Breakfast, you can feed two with one order. Right in the middle of the town that hosts Churchill's retirement home, Chartwell. This little hotel has a full restaurant and a great pub, plus the most "Country British" of interiors. It has just been "refreshed" and what a treat it is. You can walk 3 minutes to a half dozen more restaurants or pubs, or take a 15-minute drive to Chartwell. They also have great parking in the rear. It was a mere hour from Heathrow and you do not have to get into the heavy London traffic to approach the town of Westerham.

The price was right, the location was central, the staff was excellent the food was adequate for British food, the place is super cute inside, OK I got it, the sun didn't shine much considering it was the first of July.

The hotel has been beautifully renovated with a restaurant and terrace out back. There was ample parking. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was beautifully appointed with a nice shower room and lot's of little extras like a bottle of sloe gin, chocolates and nice coffee and tea. It also had a Dyson fan which was a life saver as the room was very hot. The bed was comfy but very squidgy. There was a quiet lounge for guests with comfy chairs and a decanter of whisky which we sat in after dinner. The breakfast was very good and the location is excellent.

Although beautifully decorated and dressed, the room was very small so that we had to dance around each other. I guess this was compensated by the guest lounge and the extras but we would not have wanted to stay in it more than one night. There was no no wardrobe so they had put up a clothes rail with hangers which was fair enough BUT as it was just inside the door it was very easy to walk into and bang your head. There was very low cold water pressure but very high hot water pressure which was interesting.

We have stayed at the sister pub in Churt and just love them for their comfort and locations and quality of hospitality. The rooms are of good size, thoughtfully fitted and furnished with quality coffees and chocolate and of course, the complimentary sloe gin and whisky. Breakfast is included and has multiple and plentiful choices. The town is historic and has many shops and places to eat. More historic places to visit close by, make this a great place to explore the area. We will return.

Nothing. But the rooms were pricey for us this time as we had a special deal before, so we will need to look out for upcoming special offers for next time.

Location in the middle of the high street is A1. Room superb. Lovely very well appointed room with super comfy bed, nice selection of freebies and lovely shower.

Breakfast promised much but didn't live up to Expectations. Streaky bacon will always divide opinion....not for me.....my sausage was not browned on all sides which is a pet hate of mine and my wife's poached egg was snotty. Overall a disappointment. Also, the tables used by earlier guests were all left uncleared and dirty which wasn't a great look for such a lovely hotel.

Breakfast on wed was excellent (head chef on duty?) not so good on Tues, margarine for toast not acceptable. Found LED lighting too DIM in bathroom & bedroom. Shower door came off rail too easily. Room well cleaned & liked the toilet roll extra decoration different, plus liked blue LED light. Difficult to find anywhere to put toiletries down in bathroom with older worlde sink. Sadly lots of road noise, but appreciate this is a room at front on A25. Staff good. Meal on Monday night for 8 was not too good for c £450, Wake on Tuesday you could do with more side plates rather than serviettes

Rather dim in room, TV very high, no where to really sit in room apart from 1 stand chair. We don't like having to lay on the bed and whilst we found the quiet room, the easy chairs were not too comfortable and were low. Could I suggest an alternative to just Grapefruit & Orange juice as anyone on Statins must avoid the former. Cranberry and Orange would solve this, Grapefruit is less popular these days for this (I'm retired ex grocery retailer)

Beautiful Boutique Hotel is a great location. Bedrooms are clean, spacious (Deluxe Double) and very comfortable. Staff are welcoming, and always attentive to any needs Excellent Bar with a great selection of beer, and one of the few places that still serve a decent Pint in a Jug Glass! Breakfast is delicious - but if you're staying over and hoping to for an early getaway... do factor in they do not begin the service until 07:30

Love staying at this place, and like everything in life - nothing is Perfect. What could be in proved? - Bathrooms: Somewhere to place your Wash Bag. The rooms (i've stayed in most of them!) have shelving in the bathroom, but very few have adequate place to place a reasonable sized washbag near the sink for handy use. - It can be a little noisy: Not really the fault of the Hotel, more the proximity to the main road and the absurd amount of traffic. Ask for a Rear Room if you're a light sleeper.
