The staff were very friendly. The location was beautiful in the middle of the rice fields. There was a good selection of food for good prices (very good vanilla milkshakes). The rental scooters were quite new and comfortable to drive. The room/villa was a good size and also quite comfortable, ours included a private 'balcony' to sit on.

Not something the hotel can change or do anything about but its good to know that there are not as many transport options here as in the busier parts of Bali so a (rental) scooter or a hired driver is just about the only option to get around.

… and indeed it‘s a bit like this. The owners property is behind the house of his parents and you walk in through their house. Mom likes when people do that and she’s like you wanna hug her all the time. It‘s the love for the detail that makes this place very special and unique. The rooms are very clean and the bed is cozy. They even have their own water well! We loved especially the friendly nature of the staff and the owner. Had some really nice and interesting conversations. Thank you all for the great time!

Kubu Sakian was in a beautiful location with extraordinary views from every angle. The hosts and staff were wonderful and really made us feel at home here. The accommodation and amenities were faultless and impeccably clean. It is so peaceful and a perfect place to unwind and forget about everyday life back at home. It is such a unique area, seemingly untouched by excessive tourism which is a large part of its charm. We would definitely visit again and highly recommend Kubu Sakian to anyone wanting a more authentic experience of the local area.

The hotel is in the middle of rice fields and there is nothing else nearby and that is magical. It is completely quiet here, at night you can only hear the sounds of nature. The hotel is tiny, so it has a family atmosphere. The staff was very nice. All areas were clean and tidy. And the food was very good. We really liked it here. :-)

We stayed on the ground floor in a wooden house. We were warned that the wooden house lets in more noise. It was true, we could hear noises from outside and the neighbors above us. But I really liked that the staff pointed this out in advance. And if necessary, they offered the possibility of moving to another room. But we didn't mind the noise. :-) The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and it's hard to find a taxi. In the end, we always managed to find the taxi. :-)

The location, the view, the cottage, the pool, the staff, all exceed our expectations. The owner is very friendly and very implicated. We even go with him to the temple for a full moon ceremony and it was an amazing experience to understand the hindu ceremony and to feel like a local.

The food was really basic, could be improved. Since it’s quite far from Sidemen you need to go with Grab or walk about an hour (there is a trekking route thru the rice fields which worth to trie it).

Wow Wow, this place is just magical. I highly recommend staying here. Everything was awesome. The view & tranquility. Peacefulness overload. The room was super clean & the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped & the view from the wooden window was breathtaking. Stocked mini bar & great tv with movies. The hotel restaurant had everything you need, breakfast & dinner etc lovely. Great pool while taking in the view. If you are chasing some super zen vibes & meditation this place has it all. Loved Sidemen.

Quiet and nice area, recent and well maintained rooms. If you rent a motorbike it is a really good place to be immersed in the middle of the nature.

Service could be improved. The staff is nice but not really professional. They forget things, takes long to get what you ask for etc so - even if I appreciate the slow and chill Bali rhyme - it becomes a bit annoying after few days.

We stayed for 2 nights, wished we had booked for longer. We loved this place - the food was deliousus, especially the breakfast. The staff were super friendly and helpful, they even organised a birthday cake for my husband's birthday at short notice. Our room was spotlessly clean and the grounds were lovely and well kept. I didn't go in the pool but it looked very clean. Thank you Staff

The location of the villa is pretty special. This is beautiful and peaceful. The rooms are lovely. Just note that it can be quite hard to reach and if you don't drive a scooter you are quite far from the town.

Nothing There was an issue with water when we were there but not really the hotel fault, just the infrastructure of the region are still to be developed.

The ambience was great, peaceful walks in the morning. Pool was great

The road leading in to the Villa from town as it was rough and not maintained at all, making it dangerous in ride a bike on. There was nowhere to hang clothes in the room. even a few hooks would be nice. Some staff members service was not as good as others.
