Great location! We were here for a sports tournament and even though the front of the building looks a bit worn, the rooms seem to have been recently renovated with no carpet in rooms! Big plus with me. Very clean and my boys loved having IHOP attached to the hotel. The pool area is surprisingly pretty and a very peaceful atmosphere. New table umbrellas and lounge chairs and lots of seating areas with shade under the palm trees. My only issue was that although the air conditioning is controlled by wall thermostat the wall unit has unmovable vents so I had to stack pillows up at night to keep it from blowing directly on me. But it worked great!! Room was immaculate, cool and had cute little towels shaped as swans. We appreciated the cruise like touch! The lobby area where the coffee was available had an odd smell, kinda of a urine smell but I hope a child just had an accident and it was cleaned up the next day. We checked out so I wasn’t there to find out. Cleaninf staff was extremely helpful with swapping out towels since we didn’t want the room cleaned with our game schedule. We came back and slept between games and always had fresh towels. I’m a single mom and we felt very safe and saved a bunch of money. No complaints at all!

I like my hotel bathroom to be more polished. Attention to detail, meaning the tub needed more finish. I could see under the shower tiles that were connecting to the tube. That was gross. For the price we paid. The finishes of the bathroom, room, etc ,should be perfect. Honestly, other than that, I thought it was a great room. There is plenty of space. Nice floors and comfy clean beds. I would stay again.

Always our home away from home! Rooms are extremely large, spectacular pool, amazing, attentive staff. Food and snacks in the lobby, IHOP next door and an array of shopping and restaurants nearby. The rooms are the biggest in Lakeland as well as the pool, and you can't find a better value anywhere in Lakeland. Donna and Toni are my favorite 2 ladies in hospitality!

Little disappointed because we got an upstairs room this time, as we usually stay downstairs with 2 kids, but I understand that they were almost sold. People may say rooms are dated, but they are comfy and clean!

The pool closes so early, like 7:30. Very strong fabuloso smell when you walk in. It's nice to know it's clean, but very potent and tough for anyone with allergies. Housekeeping is up knocking on doors very early. Check out was at 11 but we had people knocking on our door starting at 8. Even with the do not disturb sign on the door. It was very frustrating. And they kept coming back!

You will not find a more accommodating staff, larger rooms or a more refreshing pool anywhere in Lakeland! Donna and Toni and Tammy are great, and will do anything to make sure that you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. I love the incredibly large rooms, that open up to your private patio by the pool. They are larger than most suites we've stayed in. The beds are comfortable and the rooms and facilities are always clean and pristine. The pool is the biggest one around with ample room for swimming and sunbathing. Although there is no breakfast on site, there is a new snack and cooler area in the lobby, where you can buy breakfast or lunch snacks on the go, or head to IHOP which annexes the property for casual dining. Free WiFi access and business center. The location is perfect, with malls, shops, dining and transportation if needed. You will not find a better value for your money anywhere else in the area!

The property is older, and some of the furnishings are a little dated. If it had a refresh on furniture, decor or a remodel in the bathrooms, it would be exquisite. But I have no complaints, just a suggestion.

To be honest I was very happily surprised I was in room 212 I had a small little swan on my bed when I opened the door the room was very neat very clean and I had the soap dispensers mounted on the shower wall the hallway smelled amazing it was all good

The only thing I didn't like I had nothing to do with the facility but getting in and out of the facility meaning the way the traffic flows

we based our stay on other reviews and would have to agree with them, this place is a bargain at the price. Very clean, very comfortable, well maintained. Commented about how pleased we were with it to the lady at check out. She said it wasn't always part of a hotel chain but was a stand alone Inn. However, it's still owned by the same person and he has always took good care of it.... we are rarely in Lakeland but both agree we would be more than willing to stay there again.

The ladies working the lobby were super friendly and pleasant. The room was perfect for a night getaway. It was clean. The bed was super comfortable. It was even quite quiet for being next to a really busy road!

My fiancé didn't like the fact that there weren't any trash bags in the trash cans, hand towels, or washed cloths(didn't realized until later after lobby was closed so partly our fault too) but other than that, there wasn't anything else we didn't like!

Nice clean room with fridge/freezer microwave and coffee making facilities. The bed was really comfortable. We stayed in room 106 again as requested this room as on the ground floor and near to reception and to ihop.

The occupier in room 104 being extremely noisy with the television on at 3am but that is not any fault of the hotel

Excellent location, and the BIGGEST rooms. At 375 sqft, they are the BEST value of any hotel in the area. I've shopped it, and you can't even get a suite this size at competitor hotels that charge twice as much. With patio sliders right off the patio to the largest and nicest pool around, this makes Travelodge our favorite place to stay for our family.

Lack of garbage bags in the rooms, and towels. We had only 2 hand towels for a family of four, I think we should at least have had 4 bath towels because we had 2 beds. This used to be the norm and the first time this happened, so not sure if this is because of covid restrictions, new housekeeper, but regardless, the staff is always accommodating and will supply more. We do miss the continental breakfast in the lobby, however, IHOP is right next door and McDonald's is right across the street so there are other options.
