Great location, in walking distance to main attractions, quiet room at back, friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast options, comfortable and clean room and bed, lots of character

Would have been nice to have a hotel bar, must have overlooked that when booking. Breakfast area is a little small - when busy, makes it a little difficult to access the self-service buffet, and everyone a little on top of each other, but that might not be a big deal for everyone.

The property was well located to walk 10 to 20 mins in several directions to see the highlights of Lyon. It was as pictured and fair value for money. They had water bottles you could re-fill in the lobby and tea/coffee in the room. Being able to get fresh air into the room was a bonus.

Though my husband and I felt safe walking at night to and from the hotel, there was a metro station out front and allot of homelessness on the street, including an altercation in the early hours of the morning on one night. If travelling as a solo female traveller, may not be comfortable.

I booked the family room as 3 sisters. We had a bed and a room each. The suites were on the ground floor, off a little internal courtyard. Very spacious comparative to other options I researched. The location was perfect, nice and quiet. Staff lovely and helpful. Breakfast was €19 and options were decent and fresh.

Add a few more light options in rooms, since very little natural light. The bathroom was well lit. Get maybe one english speaking channel, even if just news.

The location of this hotel is ideal. The staff at the reception were very friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the clear instructions on how to access the parking lot, which would have been tricky otherwise. The water fountain at the reception where we could fill up our bottles (with the option of fizzy or ice cold water) was also greatly appreciated. The room was small, but the space was extremely well organized so we didn't feel cramped at all. We would definitely stay here again the next time we come to Lyon!

Location is great, easy access to public transportation or walking distance to main sites. Staff was extremely helpful and very attentive. Breakfast had plenty of options and staff was very kind - they can make eggs and coffee to order. Building was renovated and room and bathroom were very nicely decorated and clean. Bed was comfortable. Good value for money.

Sound insulation was subpar. I stayed in a room facing the main street and it was a bit noisy in the night - doesn't help that there's a McDonald's right in front of the hotel opened till late on the weekends. The room also shared a door with a different room and could hear a lot.

Unfortunately, our towels kept on being replaced, which for climate friendly reasons we didn’t want to happen. We thought we were following the hotel’s instructions to avoid them being washed, but they kept on being washed.

The location was perfect for an over night stay on a week long inter rail trip as it is close to the station and in the middle of shops and restaurants. The room was nice and we loved the tea and biscuits. Also the breakfast buffet is very good.

The room was much smaller than expected. The room was pretty much filled with the bed, and it was nearly impossible to find a space for our luggage. It was OK for one night but for a longer stay I'd want a little more space.

Perfectly located hotel from which to explore Lyon both on foot and by using the Metro as the station, is a few steps away. The room was very comfortable and clean, albeit a bit small. Many dining options close by. We had a wonderful time in Lyon, and Alexandra was a big contributor to this. Thankyou.

Room was quiet with good blackout curtains to keep out the light, new towels of a good size and nice bathroom Location was excellent: just around the corner from Ampere metro stn and very convenient as well as felling safe in the evenings

Difficult to access the Lift and Reception the first time, also sometimes difficult to hear what was said from them in the Intercom

The staff at this hotel was excellent. They helped us get around in a new city, called cabs and answered all of our questions. The breakfast was outstanding! They had a wide variety of food items including some local dishes as well as the usual eggs etc. My only down side is that the room was fairly dark and could have used more light. Perhaps brighter bulbs? It was raining, which didn't help. It was very walkable to old town Lyon and the Bellecour area. I would stay here again.
