We are a family of 4 who stayed for 8 nights in Merrily and would have stayed longer, we loved it. Great location about 15 minutes walk to old town. Interconnecting rooms fab and spotless. Staff are the best would go above and beyond for the guests. We booked trips and shows with the hotel. Breakfast was lovely nice choice. The pool was great after the heat walking around. You can get free bikes. The art work is done by the owner Mr Cuong which is beautiful and we bought one from him. We were sad to leave and thank you to all the staff Mr Bean Ms Dieu, Mr Trinh and Ni. We hope to be back in the future

Nothing loved it

Room was very clean and quite comfortable. Breakfest buffet was not big but had enough variety and the food was tasty. Great location that allowed to stay in quite quiet neighbourhood but i'm walking distance from river and old town. They also offer bicycles free of charge with which you can reach beach in 10-15 minutes or get a nice ride through rice paddies. And most important- service, hotel stuff is very helpfull and polite, as we were leaving hotel very early in the morning,before the breakfest was served, they prepared boxes with some food to eat in the airport for us we got while checking-out. Price is good and hotel is worth every vnd.

We spent 3 nights at this lovely little hotel and it was an amazing stay. We met most, if not all of the staff during our stay and they were incredibly friendly, kind, helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The room is very comfortable with great facilities, a lovely clean pool in a nice courtyard, amazing buffet breakfast options with the option to add eggs made to your liking. Bicycles are available to use for free and are good quality and well maintained. Great recommendations for tours and where to explore and helpful tips for travelling the area. Thank you very much to everyone at the hotel, you've been amazing!

Gorgeous little boutique hotel out of the hustle and bustle of the old town, but only a 30k taxi ride to get to the markets etc. Store next door for drinks, toiletries and snacks and lots of cafes and restaurants within a few metres. The buffet breakfast was excellent, especially given it's just a small hotel (14 rooms). There's a pool to cool off in, a laundry service, the rooms are immaculately clean, good wifi, television has cable channels, air con works perfectly, double glazing to keep out noise at night, and the bed is super comfortable (soft by Asian standards) with feather pillows. The staff here speak good English and are happy to help in any way. I will definitely be coming back on my next visit to Hoi An.

We stayed 4 nights, the hotel was great to have a break doing tourism around vietnam. The room was spacious, cozy and well decorated, they paid attention when we left the hotel to do the housekeeping. It is a bit far from the downtown, but they offer free bycicle to get there (we didn't take it, we went by walk and taxis) We liked that you have 2 cheap gyms near the hotel with 50k day pass, so we could train a little bit to do a bit of normal life while traveling. The breakfast was great, the options were small but well executed, the fruit fresh and good westerns options.

Everything from arrival till we left was awesome. Mr Bean and the staff are amazing. The owner is so attentive and you can see he takes extra care to look after his guests needs at all times. The decor, paintings (all painted by himself) and rooms are so beautiful and spotless. The bedding/pillows/beds are top quality and super comfortable. The cherry on top is the pool which you need in the heat so an added bonus for sure. The breakfasts were also so yummy with fresh fruit, croissants, bacon & eggs and vietnamese dishes. There is nothing bad I can say about the hotel, staff and facilities. If you are looking for an owner run hotel with exceptional service, staff and facilities then Hoi An Merrily De Art Hotel is perfect. I will recommend the hotel for sure.

Nothing - everything was perfect

Not only were the room and breakfast great, but the staff were super friendly and helpful! Hoi An has an abundance of restaurants and tailors and they gave their recommendations to ensure us getting the best quality materials from the tailors and not being scammed.

It was a short 20 minute walk to the entrance to old town. It’s really wasn’t that bad, but just a heads up for anyone reading this!

We stayed 5 nights and our expectations were exceeded when staying at this hotel. All facilities were well above standard, the pool was awesome and offered a lot of entertainment for the kids. The breakfast selection varied each day and was fresh, plus we were able to order the most delicious omelettes from the cook. The staff really made this experience for us - noting was too much trouble, they were kind, friendly and extremely accomodating. My son hurt himself when we were out one day and the owner and staff (including his brother) helped dress the wound more than once. They played and joked with the kids - our boys loved them and didn't want to leave. The owner gave us a lovely little parting gift too. The value for money was mind blowing considering accommodation costs in Australia by comparison. So clean and tidy always, with everything you could need. A short scooter or push bike ride to the Ancient Town. You will not regret staying here!!

This is an exceptional hotel. I stayed for 5 nights. It was the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at in Vietnam. The breakfast was fabulous with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and hot foods. The room was modern and very clean with a beautiful view. The bed was super comfortable. Great AC, hot water and water pressure. I didn’t swim but the pool has generous hours and is clean. It’s as nice as in the photos (which I’ve found is not very common!) It is a well-maintained small, family run hotel and the owners are always around and available- very attentive to your needs. It was very quiet at night with no rowdy guests or loud bars. The location is excellent and walking or cycling distance to the market. There’s even free bikes to borrow. I highly recommend supporting this local-family-run hotel. It’s quiet, beautiful and surprisingly inexpensive for what you’re getting! I would absolutely come back.

The hotel is perfectly located and offers free bike rental - the bikes are not the best ones, but more than enough to reach the city centre or the beach. The staff is very cordial, the hotel has a very nice pool and breakfast buffet is quite good. The room was really cozy and clean. Laudry service is available. I recommend trying the half a day activity they propose including the coconut basket boat tour on the river, lantern making and cooking class. The quality-price ratio is honestly very competitive.
