Staff were really friendly and helpful-claire gave me easy directions to a pharmacy when needed and followed up the next day to check I was ok (hayfever flare up-take antihistamines with you) . Room was good size clean, good bathroom with hot water .location was 5 min walk to the beach, yes there's a track that's not lit great but all the streets are like that(take a small torch)

Breakfast - was absolutely fine but would suggest mixing up the egg option daily ( omelette, fried egg, scrambled, pancakes) then you would get more repeat bookings and salt pepper on table would be good for a Westerns palette.

Nice clean place to stay including swimming pool, friendly staff, good breakfast and good Wifi. It is not close to the center, but there are some good restaurants close by and near the beach (however don't expect many, the beach is quite quiet). We really liked the boat tour organized by Claire which includes the highlights of the center.

The bathroom looks good, but the water of the shower did not drain. So when you opened the shower door the bathroom became very wet We didn't get the upgraded room which we booked, because it was given to another couple. Claire gave a small discount for this.

This won’t be ideal for those wanting to chill around the pool for the day as they currently have some extension works going on, this didn’t effect our plans in the slightest as you are 5 min walk to the beach and can relax anywhere else within the day

Claire and her family were super friendly, were helpful when we had queries and made us feel welcome. The external areas of the hotel are attractive, and it is well situated near to the beach and restaurants etc., but in a peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle. The AC in the rooms was very welcome!

The hotel has all the makings to be even better than it is, with just a few upgrades. The rooms had everything we needed but fittings are basic. We missed duvets and toiletries for example, and would have loved fresh fruit with the breakfast. Still a good budget option overall.

Amazing friendly owners, nice pool, short walk to the beach (but would recommend a tuktuk via night time if you travel alone). Tasty Breakfast, coffee is available all day. Room was huge with aircon, I really liked the place. Also a place for long term travelers- I just stayed two nights and got all transfer’s (airport) organised, also at 2-3 am ! An amazing place to stay for single travellers especially woman: it’s safe and owners are heartwarming helpful - thank you Claire for this nice start into my holidays.

This hotel is a gem. It's like a small oasis tucked away among all the other hotels in the lanes behind the beach. Everything is so pretty and cozy. Spacious room and bathroom. Everything is spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful staff who speak English. Good WiFi. Everything looks exactly like the photos on Booking.com. The breakfast is superb. I really liked to have a table and chairs right outside my room. If you are heading north after Negombo, just walk up to the main road and flag down the right number bus. No need to go to the bus station.

It was nothing I didn't like.

This was an amazing place to stay in Negombo! It was located only a 10 minute walk from Negombo Beach that has great restaurants and bars. The pool here is also amazing and always kept clean. The rooms are nice and spacious with a super comfy bed and nice thick towels for the shower. One of the best part of this stay is how friendly the owners are, and they do everything they can to make your stay perfect! This is the only place we will stay when we come back to Negombo in the future!

Everything was great!

We couldn't have imagined a better place to celebrate Christmas and Christmas Eve. It's a little paradise about 10 minutes from the beach. The pool is clean, and all rooms face the pool. The rooms are spacious, attention is paid to detail, and there are plenty of storage spaces – everything is kept clean. We felt very comfortable. Especially on Christmas, we attended a midnight mass with the family and were surprised with a breakfast brunch. We had a wonderful time.

We had a great time here as we enjoyed our last days in Sri Lanka. The St CLAIRE'S GREEN has a beautiful layout with the central pool and the room has been very clean. The beach is easily reached by foot and there are a few restaurants nearby. The staff and the owner have always been very helpful!

We would have loved to get some fresh fruit with the breakfast.

I had a fantastic stay. Claire and her family was really welcoming and helpful. They prepared a big brunch for christmas day, so all guests could come together and celebrate. The bed was really comfy and the room was nice (with a functioning A/C). The Pool area is very nice and relaxing and also the location is top (just 5 minutes to the beach and main street with lots of restaurants). Can definitely recommend staying here while in Negombo!
