Huge room, if a bit dated looking, overlooking the lovely little secluded valley with a lovely river and a castle perched on top of the hill. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of options to choose from . Parking spaces were plenty. Had dinner once in the hotel, at first the steak was very much overcooked, so we sent that back, the second one was better but not medium rare either. Too bad because the quality of meat was good and side dishes and starters were nice.

The tiles in the bathroom are extremely slippery. We were a young couple with no worries about balance in general, but both of us had trouble when the bathroom got even a little bit damp from a shower. I cant imagine how some of the more elderly guests (and there were a lot of them when we were there) navigate them. However, the receptionist told us that the rooms are being refurbished so probably the tiles are probably the first thing to go.

The room was very spacious with a large and oh so comfortable bed. We slept like babies😊Everything was super clean and well maintained. The staff very friendly and helpful, we arrived past the check-in time, and they had someone waiting for us. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. We even had some champagne🥂, which was a nice surprise. All in all, it was a nice experience.

Faboulus location, 10 mins from the main roads yet a nature treasure. Nice hotel and clean rooms. View to the river is beautiful. Very relaxing stay with great breakfast and lovely staff. Many outdoor activities, calming walks or hikes, water sports, tennis and table tennis, trampoline all avaliable for the guests. Also pet friendly.

Rooms are a bit basic but clean and quiet.

Both the breakfast buffet and restaurant menu were wonderfully delicious. The surrounding area had great hiking trails and tourist attractions, but it was remote enough to also enjoy a peaceful getaway. We brought our 0 and 3 year old children with and they were they were very accommodating with our needs.

Room missed a water boiler; shower was in bathtub with water hose inconveniently stretched from tap to “shower head hanging point”; room was quite noisy as door does not close tightly and corridor is narrow and echos voices.

Serene location away from city, just what we were looking for for the weekend getaway. the room had a brilliant river view and also see the castle on the top of the hill. Plenty of sitting arrangement around the river side. The stay was very relaxing and if you drive there with your own car, it’s a perfect location. The breakfast is excellent and has a lot of options. We got surprise chocolate eggs on the Easter Sunday. I would recommend to always book with breakfast. The stunning view of the well lit Bourscheid castle from room balcony or walk by the river during the sunny day - absolutely marvelous experience.

Food was not upto our expectations. We had lunch on the day of arrival but was disappointed thoroughly. First of all there are no English menu. Food came very late while starter breads were served on other tables who arrived much later than us. We ordered Salmon with Ravioli and a chicken dish. Ravioli was super dry and smelled old and over cooked. Salmon was over cooked too. Chicken dish was starchy and tasted almost wheat flour and water paste. Only thing which was worth finishing was Fish and Chips which we ordered for our son. Though the fries were dry but still way better than the other 2 dishes. Overall we skipped any other meal at hotel and rest was very enjoyable. But, breakfast was excellent and no complaints about the breakfast.

The service was excellent, we had a late request for birthday celebrations that they did a great job of handling.

Since the rooms don’t have air conditioning, they can get quite warm in summer. The bed covers could be somewhat larger for if some one wants to tuck them in

Remote and quiet location. Enough parking space. Breakfast was good, dining venue very cozy. Amazing options of ham, cheese , bread and butter.

Staff could be a bit more proactive at the Check In. Bad coffee ☕️ Main road could be in a better condition.

Beautiful location, nice room with a view on the river. Good food in het restaurant.

The drainage in the shower was clogged, so we couldn’t use it. The receptionist did not apologize for that and didn’t offer a discount, which did not feel ok.
